Meanwhile, for the shore, at least parts of delaware and south jersey, temperatures are already in the low 70s. In Rehoboth Beach and also across the wildwood area. Temperature wise, very similar to yesterday, but the equalizer is the dew point thats been coming down through the course of the day. This helps us gauge how soupy it feels outside. We have much drier air moving in, so the dew points have dropped to the upper 50. You can see right now, right around 60 degrees. Its going to feel more comfortable although the temperatures will be relatively high. Right now, temperatures around the 70 degree mark, but through the afternoon, rising to the 80s. Well see how quickly the humidity starts to come up again. Thank you. Breaking news from montgomery county. Fire crews rescued three people including this womanane wheelchair from flames in their rv. The fire broke out around 5 30 this morning. You can see the rv that was parked behind a house. Firefighters rescued the victims and put out the flames. The woman and a second victim were not hurt. Rescuers took a third person to the hospital with smoke inhalation. Investigators will lee looking for the cause of the fire. New this morning in the Lehigh Valley, 24 people are in the hospital following a bus crash in williams township northampton county. This is video of the area on interstate 78 when the bus flipped over. The belongs to a private company. Authorities tell us none of the victims appears to be seriously hurt. Also, the Powerball Jackpot is the Third Largest in the history of the drawing. No winner last night, so the prize is now an estimated 650 million. New this morning, a man shot twice by police in north philadelphia is in the hospital in critical condition. Nbc10 on the scene on north alder street. The shooting happened around 11 00 last night. Police tell us the suspect was armed. An officer called out for him to drop his weapon and opened fire when he failed to do so. A call for equality as a response to hate. Thats what drew thousands of people to rallies across the nation yesterday. In dallas, demonstrators gathered near the citys confederate war memorial. They called on officials to remove the monument and all others dedicated to civil war figures in the city. In boston, thousands of antihate marchers spread a message of unity and equality. The demonstration was in response to last weeks White Nationalist rally in charlottesville, virginia. Police made about two dozen arrests for disorderly conduct. The march was also a counter protest of a right wing free spech rally on boston common. That gathering attracted fewer than 100 people. People in charlottesville yesterday gathered for a peace and healing rally one week after deadly violence gripped the city. There was music and poetry. People also wrote messages of inspiration on a free speech wall. The Community Also paused for a moment of silence to remember heather heyer, who was killed when a white supremacist slammed his car into a crowd of demonstrators. President trump had a Swift Response to the boston rally after being criticized for what he said or didnt say following charlottesville. How about we get started with your Solar Eclipse forecast . Thats not something we get to do too often. The eclipse begins at 1 21 p. M. That will continue as we head into the later afternoon hours. Were looking at max eclipse for our area about 2 44. Thats when the sun will likely be about 75 covered. Now, in terms of your forecast, were looking at partly sunny skies. We do have a chance for showers. Thinking most of those will stay to the south of philadelphia, but that is certainly something to keep in mind if you plan on watching the eclipse. Of course, hopefully, youre able to get your hands on some of the glasses. As we head through the afternoon, the eclipse will be ending about 4 00 in the afternoon. The forecast not looking too bad, but something we need to look out for. The showers will likely be very spotty. Im hoping around max time, well have things clear. Taking a look right now at your current temperatures in philadelphia. West mt. Airy, 65 degrees. Still in the upper 60s for toez of you toward graduate hospital. The airport also about 69. Parkside cooler at 66 degrees. Fox chase, 66. Parkwood, same goes for you with temperatures hanging in the mid 60s. As we head in through today, were looking at bright and sunny skies with low humidity. Pretty much a repeat of yesterday, but i think the humidity is going to be lower. Now, over the course of the next two days, the humidity is going to start to come up a bit. That break will be relatively short lived. The humidity will be highest as we head into tuesday. Were also tracking a front moving through tuesday night into wednesday. Thats going to fire up showers and storms. And then it does start to get drier and cooler as we head into the later part of the week. Radar and satellite looking good. High pressure locked in. Thats shifting eastward over h the next two days. Dry for tonight, no issues and thats going to let the temperature come down quite bit. In the lower 60s at midnight for areas to the north and west. Heres the showers for monday.
