We are looking for 61 in south jersey, and the only place its going to be cooler, jersey shore, staying in the 50s and thats because of the winds coming in off of the atlantic keeping you a bit cooler. Thanks for that, tammie. A woman shot in the arm while she was driving is expected to be okay. Police are trying to determine if the car was targeted or if the woman was hit by a stray bullet. Police in Montgomery County want to find the vandals that wrecked the swim club. The culprits hit the club on wednesday morning, overturning a soda fridge and destroying equipment. The vandals costs 20,000 in damage, but the club will still open as scheduled on memorial day week day weekend. Walking to pens hall to march for science. Activist tell us what they wanted washington to hear. Reporter in pouring rain, doctors, engineers and scientists and more came out to urge the government to focus on the facts. New this morning, Philadelphia Police say a carjacker did not get very far. We will show you how his drive came to a crashing end. Two men are charged with attempted murder connection to a shootout and one philadelphia neighborhood. A 29yearold man was shot several times on conlynn street on thursday. One of the bullets went into a bedroom in another home and hit the bedpost where it was close to a man sleeping. The jury found 17yearold smith guilty of murder in the shooting. He will be sentenced in july. A 13yearold and 14yearold were also charged in that case. Rain in southwestern florida is now helping in the fight against wildfires there. People continue to evacuate as flames burn thousands of acres in three counties. Nbc national correspondent, chris pallone, reports. Reporter the fires have destroyed 20 homes and more than 6,500 acres in several counties. The driveway leading to my house looks like another planet. The governor postponed a trip to argentina to tour the damage. These fires are extremely dangerous and we have to be caution. There were a few showers, but all of that settled down as well. We are basically looking at things that are going to be clearing out. Theres cloud cover and thats what we are sort of waiting for in jersey, and philadelphia in the suburbs, and Lehigh Valley and berks county all in the sunshine right now. Hour by hour we will look at winds out of the northeast. Everybody is in the 40s you are in the upper elevations, mt. Pocono, in the upper 30s to low 40s. We will be climbing. Temperatures today with the sunshine will make it into the 60s everywhere except along the jersey shore, and thats because the winds were coming in out of the east, and if you are going out to the beaches you will need to have a jacket because it will be in the low 50s there. So by tomorrow morning, the winds are still out of the northeast. You see a little cloud cover beginning to creep back in to the picture and have showers that will cross delaware in southern jersey. I dont think tomorrow morning they make them up into philly, and its tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night that we see the chance of all of this lifting northward and may not lift as far north as perhaps the Lehigh Valley on tuesday, and then scattered showers sweep through the area. This will continue on and off on tuesday. Tuesday night into wednesday we could see a stronger line of showers lifting northward across the area and clearing out by later on wednesday morning and into wednesday afternoon. Lets take a look at what is going on in the neighborhood today. 40 right now in the Lehigh Valley, and you will climb from 40 and go up to 66 degrees. Your wind will turn to the southeast. And its 53 in the suburbs, and right now you are at 43 degrees. Lets check out what is going on in philly, 46 degrees right now and making a nice climb through the day with sunshine. Its going to wind up in the 60s. If you are in the jersey shore, you know you will be cooler. 51 right now, and those clouds will clear out and you will make it to about 53 degrees today because of the east winds. Lets go in to south jersey, 43 right now. You are going to be climbing as well. You will all the way up to 63 degrees, and finally we are going to take another look at the Doppler Radar because i dont want anybody sending me emails today saying is it going to rain, where is the rain. For all of you tomorrow, 55 rain. New this morning, Philadelphia Police are searching for a carjacker that crashed blocks from where he stole the car. He forced a driver at gunpoint to get out of the car earlier this morning. The driver was not hurt and the car was found two blocks away at 69th where it crashed into a parked car. Take a look at this car that crashed into a building in philadelphias king sesing neighborhood. It happened on chester avenue last night, and it appears the building only has minimal damage. Police in bucks county look into a recent wave of car vandalism. This is from one of the most recent cases. Investigators say it happened early yesterday morning and looks like the work of a bb or pellet gun. If you know anything about the vandalism call police. And police and delaware state officials want you to alert you in a spike in heroin overdoses that has taken place this weekend. At least seven people odd with a 24 hour period.
