temperature outside. here is the radar and satellite view. we have the showers pumping in the moisture. driving directly to the north. much of our area is light to moderate rain. we are going to deal with it in the first half of the day. i expect it to clear at 2:00. clouds, wet, windy and cool will be the main focus through the first half of your day later part of the day, some peeks of sup shine. this is not something that is going to clear for any morning plans that you may have. a look at your current wind speeds around 15-20 miles an hour. coatesville, 14 miles an hour. the winds will be picking up. we will talk more about that coming up in a few minutes. in west philadelphia, police are searching for whoever shot and killed a 19-year-old man. the shooting happened outside a bar near 38th and lancaster earlier this morning. the victim had gotten in a fight with a rapper and his entourage. they believe someone in that entourage was the shooter. decision 2015, election day a little more than two weeks away. the white house candidate is pushing hard for pennsylvania. they are sweeping through again. in our real clear politics poll, hillary clinton is up on donald trump by more than six points. clinton and her running mate campaign this evening. tonight, she will focus on her economic agenda as she tries to nail down votes in her region. her visit comes on the heels of trump's visit where he doubled down on his claim that the election is rigged. here is clinton's response to that claim during a stop in cleveland yesterday. >> make no mistake, by doing that, he is three men just after 9:00 last night on walnut lane. a man walked from around the corner and opened fire on the victims. all three are now in stable condition. temple university tells us an investigation is underway after roving packs of young people got into fights on campus last night. a spokesperson for the school says the groups played cat and mouse with the officers all evening. they took several dozen people into custody and no serious injuries were reported. >> still ahead, taking a knee. what happened before last night's sixers game is making more headlines than the game to stand but other sports athletes have nealed to protest racial injustice. we will have more coming up in sports in the next half hour. college campuses across pennsylvania are celebrating the end of a three-day faculty strike. union professors have agreed to a new deal with administrators who run colleges in the state system. students in our area will be back in class monday at east strouds burg, crookstown, chainy and westchester university. the strike canceled several days of classes at 14 state universities. new contracts give faculty members raises but requires them to pick up a greater share of their health care cost. students we spoke with at westchester were sympathetic to the strikers but are now focused on what's ahead for them. >> i'm a little overwhelmed. i don't know what's going on with exams. >> i have to study now. >> faculty members say they walked out to preserve the quality of education for their students. students at a north jersey school are still talking about this unexpected guest. a young deer ran into a parked school bus and raced into the lobby at a high school in bergen county just before classes began yesterday morning. cell phone video shows the animal whipping around on the waxed floor. >> it was so crazy. that's a big deer. >> they did the best they could to try and help the deer and make sure that no one got hurt and do it in the safest way possible. >> the deer was only in the lobby for about five minutes. custodians lassoed the animal and pulled it outside. the deer was bleeding from it's injuries to its face. it didn't seem too badly hurt as it ran back into the woods. >> from a deer to an emu to a highway in arizona. this large bird disrupted traffic. they eventually got the emu on to a trailer. they are not sure where the bird came from. they are native to australia. this was not the first time they found one running around on a roadway in arizona. take a look at this flooding in worcester, massachusetts. several inches of rain triggered flooding and led to scenes like this where drivers had to flog through high water. first responders rescued those that got stranded. the storms also hit central and northern pennsylvania. a man died after this tree fell on to a home. he was on a ladder when the tree came down. >> officials declared a disaster emergency. flooding closed a number of roads with some of them destroyed. high water washed away at least two homes and several cabins. we have new information about a flood situation in cummings county. spending thousands of gasoline into a creek that furnishes drinking water. they are using skimmers and containment boom toss remove the gap from the creek. rain throughout our part of the region this morning but not that heavy. >> most of us are seeing showers out there. it is light, moderate rain. you are suddenly going to need the wind shooeld wipers as you get out there on the road. we are look can at the big focus of the xhangs. the temperatures, a huge difference with what we are seeing. let's start off by taking a look at your radar and satellite map. we have the cold front already well past us. it is now off to our east. but, the effects of that cold front are going to continue to be felt as we move throughout today. the cooler air is now cooling right over us keeping temperatures way at bay. i'm talking, some of us a 20-degree difference from what we saw yesterday or more. radar and satellite right now, the green is where the rain is, the lighter green, more spotty showers. the element of orange, heavier rain, mostly to the north of us. let's zoom in spot by spot, neighborhood by neighborhood to see where these showers are moving through. it is pretty scattered in delaware. we have good, thick cloud coverage. we have the light rain over the shore into partings of south jersey. more moderate rain continues into central parts of new jersey as well. more light as we move into central parts of new jersey and trenton. how about philadelphia, this is a more steady but moderate rate. it is coming down pretty well but not terribly heavy at this point. the same swaying as we move along right up into parts of lehigh valley, berks county as well. seeing those showers this morning move through but not necessary live heavy at this point. i don't expect to necessarily get terribly heavy either. we are going to see some rain throughout your morning into your early afternoon. there you go with just a pocket of heavy rain. the yellow you see is sitting to the east of allentown this morning. now, we're looking in your neighborhoods for today. these are the forecast temperatures. they are pretty much the same as they were this morning. 55 degrees, center city, 53, summerton. we may see some sun. it is going to be later in the day, late afternoon/early evening before sunset. much of the day, we need to push out these showers and clouds. we'll be dealing with that through your morning into your early afternoon. forecasting 53 for lansdale. cooling air moving in behind the cold front. new jersey, delaware, same situation, mostly low, mid-50s for forecast temperatures. 56 in ocean city. there is the temperature trend. we went from the mid-80s to the low 80s. look at that difference. this is huge. a 20-degree drop in the forecast high temperature for us. our saturday. sunday, also looking much cooler than we've been and below average at 62 degrees and windy both days. with gusts today up to 40 miles per hour possible. still, ending tomorrow. good news for the eagles vikings game, we are tracking much nicer conditions to hur oon, the eagl. kickoff at 1:00 p.m. by the fourth quarter, we should make it into the low 60s. still windy for sunday. coming up in a bit. >> thanks, we'll to sleep, he is at risk to lose his life. >> a fear from day one. >> his oxygen levels were low. >> he was diagnosed with congenital central hyperventilation syndrome. a condition so rare only 1200 people in the world have it. >> when he goes to sleep at night, the part of the brain that tells all of us to continue to breath involuntarily, it doesn't work for him. it malfunctions. >> he was fitting with a trak, a tube that connects to a ventilator to help him. >> he is a really funny, cute, kind kid. >> katy johns is luke's babysitter. she is also an avid field hockey player at camden catholic. >> we are looking for a way to get this field hockey team to rally around the cause to understand there is more than just playing field hockey at stake. >> when the moms got together, call it coincidence or fate. >> we realized na luke's syndrome has the innigss of cchs which corresponds with camden catholic. >> they put beads on their shoelaces and are selling t-shirts to donate money for research. >> we are just magss a big statement about who we are. >> reporter: and who they want to become. >> we have had one of our most successful years so far. >> they have something to play looking in your neighborhoods for today. these are the forecast temperatures. they are pretty much the same as they were this morning. 55 degrees, center city, 53, summerton. we may see some sun. it is going to be later in the day, late afternoon/early evening before sunset. much of the day, we need to push out these showers and clouds. we'll be dealing with that through your morning into your early afternoon. forecasting 53 for lansdale. cooling air moving in behind the cold front. new jersey, delaware, same situation, mostly low, mid-50s for forecast temperatures. 56 in ocean city. there is the temperature trend. we went from the mid-80s to the low 80s. look at that difference. this is huge. a 20-degree drop in the forecast high temperature for us. our saturday. sunday, also looking much cooler than we've been and below average at 62 degrees and windy both days. with gusts today up to 40 miles per hour possible. still, ending tomorrow. good news for the eagles vikings game, we see you then. a 4-year-old boy with a rare life-threatening condition inspired a south jersey field hockey team to take on a big challenges. nbc 10's matt delucia has the story of how the team is helping the boy who, in turn, is helping the team. p bruce martini is swinging through life like any other 4-year-old. he is a carefree boy by day but at night, it is different. >> every time he goes to sleep, he is at risk to lose his life. >> a fear from day one. >> his oxygen levels were low. >> he was diagnosed with congenital central hyperventilation syndrome. a condition so rare only 1200 people in the world have it. >> when he goes to sleep at night, the part of the brain that tells all of us to continue to breath involuntarily, it doesn't work for him. it malfunctions. >> he was fitting with a trak, a tube that connects to a ventilator to help him. >> he is a really funny, cute, kind kid. >> katy johns is luke's babysitter. she is also an avid field hockey player at camden catholic. >> we are looking for a way to get this field hockey team to rally around the cause to understand there is more than just playing field hockey at stake. >> when the moms got together, call it coincidence or fate. >> we realized na luke's syndrome has the innigss of cchs which corresponds with camden catholic. >> they put beads on their shoelaces and are selling t-shirts to donate money for research. >> we are just magss a big statement about who we are. >> reporter: and who they want to become. >> we have had one of our most successful years so far. >> they have something to play for. when they go out on that field, they are not just playing field hockey, they are playing for a reason. that reason this year is luke. >> for life's goal, on the field and off. >> i think when you
