A driver is shot in the middle of an intersection in the oxford circphiladelphia area. And a bystander jumped into action. Nbc katey jackson joins us live. What do we know about the shooting. Reporter it happened right in the middle of that intersection for people to see. Investigators tell us the driver shot the victim several times through the driver side window. It happened just before midnight and as their cars passed through the intersection of the 24yearold that was shot fell out of his car in the middle of the intersection. Police say thats when a Good Samaritan ran up to him trying to help. That victim at einstein hospital. At last check police did not know if he would survive. Police are still looking for the suspect. They say some kind of verbal allerication may have led to that shooting. Right now theyre still trying to piece together if the victim and the shooter new each other. Thank you. The hearing of the Fraternity Brothers accused in the death of a pledge resumes today. A Police Detective testified that video from a basement camera was deleted. The footage from the night the student tim piasa died, he had fallen down the basement stairs. He did say that one of the people sitting in the courtroom is suspected of deleting that video. Investigators are trying to recover the footage. Several frat brothers are charged with his death. He died after a night of drinking and several falls including twice down a flight of stairs. The frat brothers waited 12 hours before calling 911. 6 04, a philadelphia man has his 3yearold son back after this car was stolen. It started when the dad left his car running to go inside a shoe store in philadelphia. The thief jumped in and drove off. Then a short time later police found the car seat with the child strapped in at a fire station a few miles away. In bux county divers are part of a homicide investigation. Authorities found a mans body in his home tuesday night. Yesterday they confirmed a dive team began searching the Delaware River nearby. Police have not said how the victim died or what theyre looking for. President trump declared it an emergency after initially rejecting the move. A recent report found 142 people in the u. S. Just barely making it into burkes county. Its now drying out in ham brg. We could see some thunderstorms pretty much in the same area. So some of them could reach into the lee high valley.
