The office said it is a womans body, right now they are not identifying her. Prosecutors earlier identified one of the others killed in wednesdays raid in saintdenis as the suspected ring leader of the attacks. Today investigators will try to figure out why a minivan blew past cones and caution tape in a Construction Zone and landed on a man working in a hole and killing him. The crew had dug up the road to fix pipes at 63rd and art streets in west philadelphia. The man was working in the threefoot hole threefoot deep hole when a minivan drove through and landed on top of the man. He died at the scene. He was down in the hole, he did some work and waiting for one of his partners to do something. Just like that, the car ended up as you see where its at. The driver is cooperating. Police say she spoke with detectives at the scene, workers at the site told us they did everything they could to alert drivers about the hole in the road. 6 06. A Lehigh County judge ruled that a teen facing murder charges for the death of her mother will be tried as an adult. 14yearold jamie is accused of conspiring with her boyfriend to kill her mother cheryl. In march jamies boyfriend, caleb barnes, allegedly stabbed her mother to death as all three sat in a car in the driveway of the family home. Barnes is awaiting a hearing. Friday, starting today the inner drive of the ben franklin parkway closed intermittently until about sunday around 6 00 p. M. Tomorrow on saturday there will be different closures around 18th street and parts of mlk drive, parts of logan sir circle, and on sunday the ben franklin parkway in between 18th and 25th until about 4 00 p. M. You want to watch for no parking signs. They will have those around the area as you want to Pay Attention so your car isnt towed. Some of these 2 00 in the morning, and they expand into the Early Morning hours and a lot of these closures are intermittent. So what that means they are rolling closures as runners or as events move through the area, those closures will be closed and they will open up after they clear the spot out of the way. We know that gunmen have been the hostage takers taken over by special forces. Thats what were learning now that special forces entered the hotel where the hostages are held and now combatting the gunmen who took over the hotel early this morning. 170 people were hostage, now we know that 20 of them escaped and we also know that 20 were freed. Three people have been killed. We have not confirmed if those among the dead are the attackers or some of the hostages. We learned that the gunmen arrived in a vehicle bearing diplomatic plates. Its still unclear how they got those or if these are affiliated with a group but thats the news out of the u. In, this started at the Radisson Blu Hotel in mali. The gunmen stormed the hotel with assault rifles, grenades. 20 hostages have been freed, others escaped. There are a lot of hostages in the hotel.
