All traffic is okay, eastbound and westbound on the schuylkill. Were watching for the clearing of more construction. This one is in norristown between elm street and marshall street. Were waiting for the clearing of that as well. The vine street expressway construction typically clears around the 5 00 hour as well. Right now were still watching some crew in the area to just be aware of that. By the time you get out the door, especially if youre watching this right now, you should be fine. It was closed earlier between broad street and the schuylkill but theyre lifting it now. New this morning, two teens are dead after a crash along roosevelt boulevard that shut down part of the road for hours overnight. Police say a driver crashed into a car, sending it spinning before it crashed into a light pole. Matt delucia is live in olney where this crash happened. Matt, what can you tell us . This is one of the vehicles that was involved in the violent crash overnight. You see the front end all smashed up. All lanes, front and the boulevard are back open. They had been shut down for quite a while overnight. This is what the area looked like shortly after the crash happened. Philadelphia police say it was before 12 30 this morning, one car on front street, the other on roosevelt boulevard. The suv hit a car with three teenagers inside. The driver has minor injuries but his brother and a friend were killed after the car spun around and hit a light pole. Both drivers were conscious and talking. Accident investigators plan to speak with them. They are trying to figure out who had the green light in all of this. This is one of the intersections here, front and the boulevard, that does not have one of those red light cameras. Police are going to be looking around for video elsewhere, possibly at another intersection to see if there was anything else that might be able to tie this all together. She resigneds aPennsylvania Attorney general after a jury convicted her of perjury and obstruction of justice. She leaked grand jury documents to a newspaper and thenc lied about it under oath. Her sentencing is scheduled for october 24th. She cowl get up to nine months in jail. And decision 2016, Chelsea Clinton will be in pennsylvania today campaigning for her mother. The former first daughter will make two appearances in pittsburgh. Hillary clinton will be in seattle for a fundraiser. Chelseas friend, ivanka trump was in the philadelphia suburbs stumping for her father. Donald trump will be greeting supporters in North Carolina today. The republican president ial nominee will hold two rallies in the tar heel state. Polls show a tight race between trump and clinton. The New York Times is responding from a letter of from Donald Trumps lawyer asking for a retraction. The newspapers lawyers said it would welcome trumps challenge. He added that trumps public boast about women would defeat any legal claims that the times ruined his reputation. A group concerned with climb change is talking about a new wave of young voters who recently registered in pennsylvania before tuesdays deadline. Yesterday, members of Nextgen Climate pa announced they signed up nearly 80,000 voters across the keystone state. Members of the Group Tell Us to do it they visited more than 90 school campuses. Police have arrested a former coworker in the disappearance of holly grim. She went missing three years ago. State Police Confirm two pieces of bone found last month in the yard of Michael Horvath matched the dna of holly grim. Horvath is now in custody and charged with grims murder. Grims family had been holding out hope she was still alive. She was last seen in lower macungie township in november 2013. Grim and horvath worked together for a company that makes church organs. According to the Police Criminal complaint, horvath was late for work the day grim disappeared. Hes accused of killing her and burying her remains in his backyard in monroe county. We all talked to hundreds of people and we kept coming back to mr. Horvath, different people ruled out. We were never able to do that with mr. Horvath. Its just a natural culmination of the evidence that we collected along the way. Right now, horvath is in jail without bail. Investigators have not revealed a possible motive in this case. c this morning, hurricane nicole is headed toward the middle of the Atlantic Ocean after roaring across bermuda. The storm snapped trees and damaged buildings and boats on the resort island. It also caused flooding and knocked out power to more than 27,000 customers. Nicole was a category 4 storm earlier this week. It has now weakened to a category 2. Back home it is 5 07 on your friday morning. Lets get a check of the weather. The explosion around 1 30 yesterday morning, scattered debris within ten yards of the rubber trash can there. No one was hurt by it. Nearby cars and homes werent damaged. Federal and county and state investigators are working to figure out if that blast was a prank or an accidental Chemical Reaction from something put into that trash can. Obviously doesnt fit a terrorist situation. The time of day, the location. Especially at 1 30 in the morning. Sounded like an explosion. Investigators say the trash can had been sitting near two houses for more than a week. Both neighbors told police the can wasnt theirs. Investigators want to find out where that can came from. Joes University Student who was robbed and nearly kidnapped. Investigators believe a 17yearold suspect is one of the two people in this surveillance video. Officers arrestedc him yesterd when police got a call about another robbery. He and a second person are accused of tieing up and robbing a female student last week. Were hearing from a roommate who lived in the apartment where a man shot and seriously wounded two Boston Police officers wednesday night. The two officers came under fire and were critically wounded while responding to a report with a person with a gun. Police returned fire, killing the gunman, now identified as kirk figueroa. A roommate said he was sleeping when he heard two roommates arguing. That fight led to the shooting. I keep rehearing the screams of pain. Now i know those were screams of him dying, you know. Were hearing from a roommate who lived in the apartment where a man shot and seriously wounded two Boston Police<\/a> officers wednesday night. The two officers came under fire and were critically wounded while responding to a report with a person with a gun. Police returned fire, killing the gunman, now identified as kirk figueroa. A roommate said he was sleeping when he heard two roommates arguing. That fight led to the shooting. I keep rehearing the screams of pain. Now i know those were screams of him dying, you know.
