back open now. crews battled a house fire on folk road in garnet valley. folk road remains closed between naamans creek road and zebley road. new information from overnight about a house fire in warrenton, bucks county. the flames spread to a car. that fire started around 11:30 last night. no one was hurt.ç firefighters quickly got that fire under control. and now to decision 2016. hillary clinton and donald trump come out on top in new york's primary. for the democrats, new york's former senator hillary clinton got 58% of the vote. over brooklyn native bernie sanders last night. for the republicans, donald trump was the victor. he won 60% of the vote in his home state. now the focus turns to our area. primaries next week in pennsylvania and delaware and the new jersey primary, june 7th. the candidates will be heading to the tri-state area in an effort to win over voters. nbc 10's katy zachry is live for us in philadelphia this morning where hillary clinton will mack a stop today. good morning, katy. >> that's right. hillary clinton will be here in north philadelphia making her first of two stops in philadelphia. she'll meet with supporters at st. paul's baptist church behind me and she'll move on to the fillmore for an evening rally. hillary clinton is fresh off her win in her home state of new york. today it's time to shift gears to this area, for the pennsylvania and delaware primaries next tuesday. while in philadelphia, secretary clinton will have a public discussion with former attorney general eric holder as well as mothers who have lost children in racially charged incidents. >> under the bright lights of new york, we have seen that it's not enough to diagnose problems. you have to explain how you'd actually solve the problems. >> donald trump who also won the new york primary announced he will be in delaware thistry afternoon meeting with supporters at the state fairgrounds. he also said he's stopping in pennsylvania before next tuesday's primary. we're reaching out to his campaign for more details on that stop. >> we'll be going into the convention, no matter what happens. i think we're going to go in, go strong. we're going to celebrate for about two hours, then early in the morning i get up and we begin working again. >> republican rival ted cruz was in philadelphia last night at the national constitution center, watching the results from the new york primary come in. he came in third in that state's primary. today, though, his wife will be in our area. stumping for votes leading into tuesday's primary. rather into the primary in new jersey in early june. nonetheless, they'll be in our area gathering support for her husband. i'll have details coming up in the next half hour. reporting live in north philadelphia, months all because of a $5 fee. and this morning, a gloucester county judge is expected to decide if a fun accused of drinking and driving is innocent. she said she had a glass of wine and took an ambien to help her sleep. she says she has a history of sleepwalking and an arthritic condition for which she takes medicine. the victim, a 23zui5ze woman was left unconscious on the james hall trail in the phillips park area monday night. police tell us the victim was shoved from behind, repeatedly punched in the face by a man wearing a ski mask and gloves. we spoke to a woman who lives nearby. >> this is a very nice park. never had a problem. >> a lot of basketball players that play over here and the skateboarders, it gets crowded at night. i don't come here after like 7:00. >> nothing was taken from the victim and there were no witnesses. a vice principal from the poconos is on unpaid leave after police say he was so drunk they had to use a stun gun to subdue him. they used it on him after he resisted arrest. the school district said they put evans on unpaid leave. we reached out for a response but have not heard back. the former chairman is suing governor tom wolf to get his position back. last year, wolf removed green as chairman. green says wolf opposes charter schools. according to green, the law says a member can be removed from office only for wrongdoing, not for disagreeing with the governor. governor wolf's press secretary issued this statement, due to misguided and poor decisions made by harrisburg politicians, the district has been forced to lay off educators, cut important programs and slash transportation, security and other vital services. governor wolf will continue to fight for more funding for education and provide a new path forward for philadelphia's schools. now your nbc 10 first alert weather with meteorologist bill henley. >> just after 5:00. the skies are clear this morning and the temperatures are coming down. a little bit chillier than yesterday. the pennsylvania suburbs, the lehigh valley, delaware all in the 40s. 50 degrees in philadelphia and we'll find cooler temperatures in south jersey and at the jersey shore. we will see brilliant sunshine during the day today. the temperatures are still falling at this hour. in delaware, a couple spots in the 50s. reidy point is at 50 degrees. dover right now is in the low 40s at 43 degrees. it's a school start this morning. might need a light jacket but we'll see sunshine. the wind not all that strong. a light, northerly wind during the day. these are the forecast winds, a 5 mile-an-hour wind in delaware. look at the wind at the shore, a different direction. that's going to bring in some of the cooler ocean air and keep the temperatures lower right along the coast. but a nice warmup for most of the area. for today, philadelphia, 70 degrees this afternoon. beautiful sunshine and the temperatures will be nice and dry and warming for somerton. 68 degrees in phoenixville, the lehigh valley, 70 degrees this afternoon. brilliant sunshine for south jersey. look at glassboro, a high of 70 degrees today. at the shore, there you can see the impact of those winds coming in off the shore. low 60s today for wildwood, delaware low 70s with a bright sunny day ahead for dewey beach. near 70 degrees laterdtoday. what you won't see, cloud cover. we stay dry today. that changes at the end of the week. the next five days will feature a warmup. with that warmup will come more clouds. they start to increase for philadelphia and delaware. come friday, a bala cynwyd. this morning, a driver is facing charges in the crash that killed a crossing guard. this happened in trenton. police have arrested dwayne bennett who they say was driving with a suspended license. skyforce 10 was over the accident monday afternoon. the victim, 56-year-old antonio wiley of trenton was crossing route 129 at lalor street when he was hit. utah's governor signed a bill declaring pornography a public health crisis. >> utah is the first state in the country to make such a move. the legislature passed the resolution unanimously. supporters say the resolution is backed by research. critics say it overstates the effects of pornography. the resolution has no enforcement power. the governor made it clear that it does not ban pornography. pearl jam will not perform in north carolina tonight. it's the latest band to boycott the decision. they say the law that was recently law that was recently passed is a despicable piece of legislation that encourages crisis. the michigan attorney general is expected to announce criminal charges against two state regulators and a flint employee. the charges will be filed against two water qualityç officials with the state d.e.p. and a coordinator at the water treatment plant. charges include misconduct, evidence tampering and more. this breaking news just in from ecuador. a magnitude 6.1 aftershock has been felt off the coast of that country that is still cleaning up from saturday's quake. hope is fading that any more survivors will be founded alive in ecuador. yesterday, rescuers found three people still alive buried in rubble for more than 32 hours. the video shows the dramatic rescue. the death toll from saturday's 7.2 magnitude quake climbed to more than 500 people. a smoother ride and safe pedestrian walkways. those are some of the improvements people who use the roosevelt boulevard is asking for. officials, septa and penndot had been holding public forums. you have two more chances morning. clear skies and the numbers are dropping. not too bad in philadelphia. now in the low 40s for vineland. look at trenton, 47, mount holly is on the verge of the 30s this morning. you see the cooler air in the pennsylvania suburbs and delaware, too. these temperatures are definitely running chillier than yesterday. 5 degrees chillier in philadelphia, now it's a bit cooler than yesterday for parts of delaware. wilmington is off by three compared to yesterday morning. it's a chillier morning. you'll need a jacket during the day today. if you're heading out right now, the temperatures will be cool to start with. bright sunshine starts at 6:15 this morning. we'll see brilliant sunshine during the day. don't forget your sunglasses. it's sunshine that will last all day. but withç clear skies tonight, the temperatures will be dropping and as cool as it is this morning, it will be even chillier tomorrow morning. here's what you can expect for today. sunshine in philadelphia, by lunch time, 62 degrees. but then near 70 degrees this afternoon. the winds stay light in the pennsylvania suburbs. a chilly morning at 47 degrees. by noontime, 61 degrees. look at the warmup for the lehigh valley. bright sunshine right on through the day. 67 degrees at 4:00 this afternoon. delaware, also see a good warmup from 50 at 8:00 to 62 degrees at lunch time. then low 60s for south jersey. at noontime, notice it doesn't get quite as warm at the jersey shore as it does in south jersey. 68 degrees, the 4:00 temperature in south jersey while the shore will be in the 50s today with an easterly wind keeping things cool. the entire area will stay dry. no sign of any wet weather. the futurecast shows clear skies at 1:00 this afternoon. tomorrow, it's a different story. clouds will be building and it's cloud cover coming from the showers and some thunderstorm activity is moving through the midwest. that will move through the ohio valley and late thursday night those showers arrive in western pennsylvania. by then we're looking at cloudy skies. in fact, these clouds start moving in tomorrow afternoon. we'll be warmer, as you may have noticed with the seven day at the bottom of the screen. tomorrow compared to yesterday. even on friday when we get wet weather, that's 10:00 in the morning. you can see the showers moving into berks county, lehigh and northampton counties. those showers arrive in philadelphia during the day on friday. delaware and south jersey, even see thunderstorms come friday. ten-day outlook, see that warming trend, brilliant sunshine today. a nice rebound after a cool start. warmer tomorrow, 77 degrees and near 80 on friday. the warmup happens before the rain moves in. that rain due in in the afternoon should be done by the weekend, though. the temperatures still above normal for this time of year, saturday and sunday, low 70s. a cooler day on monday and here comes the possibility of more showers for tuesday and wednesday. come thursday,
