13-year-old girl in hunting park. matt delucia joins us live at st. christopher's hospital where the victim is recovering. the attackers grabbed this young woman right off the street. >> reporter: that is right. right now police as you mention read still trying to find those three young boys who attacked this girl. she is here at st. christopher's recovering. she's in stable condition. but police are trying to find the three teens that attacked her in this house. take a look at video here. this happened yesterday afternoon around 5:00 in hunting park in the 1300 block of west butler street. investigators say the boys pulled the girl inside that home and assaulted her. the home is boarded up, but neighbors tell us squatters and other folks have been able to get in and out of there for several years now. the neighbors that we spoke with yesterday, they say they're pulling for this girl and hoping for justice. >> this is just crazy. that's ridiculous. that's ridiculous. for little kids to be raping little kids, what are we coming to? >> reporter: so far there have been no arrests yet. and police have not yet released any kind of description on these three boys that they're looking for. they're asking the public for any information that might help them. meanwhile, that 13-year-old girl is recovering this morning here at st. christopher's. reporting live, nbc10 news. today the senate judiciary committee is expected to approve president trump's pick for the supreme court, judge neil gorsuch. the nomination could trigger a showdown in washington when the full senate votes later thisne gorsu gorsuch. republicans in charge say they may have to change senate rules so that they could wipe out a democratic filibuster and then confirm gorsuch. the gop and democratic leaders sounded off yesterday about it on nbc's "meet the press." >> we didn't used to do this. clarence thomas was confirmed 52-48. the most controversial supreme court nominee in history. cocktail at a woman's home on reno street before 5:00 last night. the device blew out the windows of the house and set the first floor on fire. a woman inside was trapped on the second floor. firefighters rescued her. a neighbor tells us she heard a loud bang and went outside to check on her kids. >> the neighbor came to, you know, brought it to my attention. they firebombed the house. i said, so that was that noise? you know, like it's crazy. >> detectives questioned the woman rescued from the fire. she was not hurt. a fire at an east oakland apartment claimed one life. a woman was found dead inside her burning second-floor apartment on north 10th street yesterday. four apartments were evacuated. no other injuries were reported. investigators say smoke alarms were working. this morning, philadelphia police continue to search for the armed driver who shot and killed another driver along roosevelt boulevard. the deadly shooting happened in summerdale yesterday morning. police tell us the driver pulled up alongside the victim's car at a stoplight. that's when the gunman opened fire. the man lost control of his car, eventually swerving across multiple lanes of traffic and crashing into a fence. we spoke to a witness and others who tell us they are disturbed to say the least by the shooting. >> i just heard a gunshot this morning. i heard police cars coming around, and they blocked off the street. >> worries you a little bit. >> makes you very nervous. >> i thought it was a good neighborhood. >> police tell us the shooter took off south on the boulevard. check out the violent weather that roared through alexandria, louisiana. you see hail bouncing off the hood of these cars in the driveway yesterday. a large limb snapped and fell on power lines causing them to arc and flash. shoppers at a nearby mall caught this tornado on camera. you see a funnel cloud slowly descending from the sky. lightning lit the dark clouds as thunder boomed through the parking lot. people took cover inside the mall. some standing at an entrance for a good view. about 100 miles south, a tornado flipped a mobile home killing a mother and her 3-year-old daughter. authorities say the storm hit just seconds after a tornado warning was issued. the father wasn't home at the time. a big storm system. part of it will be coming our way for tomorrow. what we're seeing today are clear skies and 45 degrees in philadelphia. clouds will be moving in this afternoon. this morning, we'll get a decent doze of sunshine. 55 -- decent dose of sunshine. 55, 65 at noon. into the middle 60s at noon. it stays dry. notice calm conditions now. no wind in the suburbs. 41 degrees. a little bit of a southerly wind will develop. a shift from yesterday when we had northwesterly winds. that limited temperatures to the low 60s in the suburbs. topping out in the upper 50s. today into the 60s. that's in spite of the clouds that will be coming in later in the day. 38 now in the lehigh valley. three-mile-an-hour wind. barely moving. we've seen the same southerly wind develop. with the clouds coming in this afternoon, southerly wind, 64 degrees at 2:this afternoon. dry in -- 2:00 this afternoon. dry in new jersey, later today the clouds take over. 40 to start with in new jersey. and at the shore, 46. the winds coming off the ocean, that's why we're looking at 50s through the day at the shore. and for delaware, dry, 45 degrees right now. calm, a little bit of a breeze blowing at 10:00. 55 degrees. then here come the 60s this afternoon and clouds, too. rain, going to have to wait a little bit longer for that. it will be moving in tonight. the clouds, they'll arrive this afternoon. 4:00, mostly cloudy skies in philadelphia. you may still see a few thin spots in the clouds. the clouds will be increasing during the evening hours. and then here comes the first rainfall at 9:00 this evening. and heavier downpours are possible overnight. looks like they're going to stay farther to the north, possibly in the lehigh valley. and then into northern new jersey. missing most of philadelphia. wilmington, the suburbs, delaware, south jersey. we'll still get showers, and we could still see some heavy downpours in the afternoon. that's noontime. scattered, light showers. watch in the afternoon, 1:30 in the afternoon, another line of showers is developing. take a look at how there's some flooding in the new tassel area, airport road closed at 37 and 95. as for mass transit, earlier we had ten-minute delays at 6100 for septa, but everything else with no major problems. monday. today, the flyers' medical team will reevacuate goalie michael neuvirth following a collapse midway through the first period saturday. he fell backward. medics took him off the ice on a stretcher. he spent at night at pennsylvania hospital for observation and tests. the team says he checked out okay. it's believed that he was suffering the after effects of a severe upper respiratory over this afternoon, 65 degrees in center city. 65 in doylestown. easton, 67 degrees today. and well into the 60s for new jersey. sunshine this morning. clouds increasing this afternoon for haminton. no wet weather. temperatures in the 50s at the shore with the sea breeze. middle to upper 60s for delaware today. dry during the day. i am watching the doppler radar, and the first showers are to the west. they're heading toward the ohio valley. there's a chance of showers for the first game of the season today. big storms in the south. i expect those to stay to the south. the system as a whole is moving east. that means wet weather starts late this evening. this is 11:00 tonight. you see the showers moving in. just light rain to begin with. but overnight tonight, we could see some heavy downpours, possibly thunderstorms and a quick almost an inch of rainfall falling in detailstown. by 4:00 -- doylestown. by 4:00 in the morning, almost two-thirds of an inch. by 7:00 in the morning, okay. later in the afternoon, after the dry spell, another round of showers will come through. we could see more than an inch and a half of rain in doylestown. we'll watch carefully the rain-swollen creeks and rivers for tomorrow. today, sunshine and clouds this afternoon. 65. warmer tomorrow in spite of the wet weather. the first round of showers in the morning, another in the afternoon. and in between, 70 degrees the high temperature. 66 on wednesday. sunshine, but here comes the chance of showers for thursday that will linger into friday. 53 degrees friday afternoon. a chance of light showers. enough to make things a little less comfortable at the ballpark. this weekend, we'll be drying out and warming up on sundays. sunday afternoon, 63. the warming trend, near 70 on monday. 70s is accused. beating amy joyner francis in the bathroom at the school of technology. the other two joined in. joyner francis died of heart problems after the altercation. and a suspected robiner will face charges -- robber will face charges in four holdups. police arrested nicholas vaughn friday after he allegedly robbed a newark bank. the teller quadded 911 -- called 911 before the robbery when she recognized the wanted man. officers arrived after the robbery. they chased vaughn as he sped away from the bank. state police picked him up when he crossed over into maryland. fighting hate will be the theme of a public forum tonight in bucks county. activists will focus on the recent distribution of these kkk leaflets in doylestown and north hampton township. former congressman steve sanesiero will join the discussion at richboro high school. also in bucks county, the quakertown school board will hold a hearing to talk about closing milford middle school. the district faces a $4.7 million deficit. the superintendent also says two elementary schools could be shut down because they need expensive maintenance. tonight's meeting is at 7:00 p.m. in the milford school gym. philly area native darryl hall is suing a new york town. darryl's house is a venue owned by hall. the town of pauling, new york, wants to reduce the maximum occupies at the venue to allow 120 fewer people to
