This just in, a judge this morning a couple hours ago arraigned the man accused of shooting aofficer on sunday night. 23yearold Scott Griffin faces charges including the attempted murder of a police officer. The judge ordered him held without bail. Griffin is accused of shooting officer James Mccollough when he interrupted a carjacking that griffin and another man allegedly carried out. Officer mccollough is now recovering. And now to decision 2016. Donald trump and Hillary Clinton take new york. Heartbreak is probably the best way to describe how people are feeling. Dr. Steven mayer was well known and he was very loved. We saw that last night at a vigil where more than 500 people gathered together at foxmore community park. They went with flowers, candle and grief. A huge crowd pulling together hours after learning of dr dr. Mayers death. He laced up his shoes yesterday morning and left his house for a run. He and his dog were less than a mile away from Robbinsville High School when dr. Mayor, the superintendent for the district, was struck and killed by a 17yearold student on her way to class for a trip. She stopped right away but it was too late for dr. Mayer and his dog. Both were killed. He made a very big impact since hes been here. Everybody loved him. Were all going to miss him. Im speechless. I couldnt believe something so tragic would happen to such a great guy. He did so much for the school district. He wanted nothing but the best for the kids. This is a different case, Philadelphia Police and a grieving family are calling for a hit and run driver to come forward. That accident killed 27yearold jamal morris early saturday morning. Right now police say they have no evidence that was left at the scene or reliable witnesses. His mother says the driver needs to do the right thing. Jamal loved life. He loved church. He loved sports. He was a sunday school teacher. He did football with the kids. The drexel grad died monday from severe head trauma. Families who lost loved ones in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in newtown, connecticut, can move forward in their lawsuit against the gunmaker of the rifle used in the attack. The families of nine People Killed in the 2012 deadly shooting and a teacher who survived the attack are taking Remington Arms to court. A judge ruled the families have the right to argue that semiautomatic rifles are a military weapon and should not be sold to civilians. Airlines would be required to refund baggage fees if the bags arrive more than six hours late after a dough memestic flight o hours after an international flight.
