Lets focus in on the diner. Investigators have a bunch of lights on grape leaves diner that caught on fire. The investigators have been out here for an hour an a half, looking at the cause. Manufacture the fire trucks have left. This was the scene when fire crews were spraying water on the roof of the grape leaves diner. The fire broke out in the dining room. Its important to know the restaurant was closed at the time. This is not a 24hour diner. But the adjacent days inn hotel, as i established, was affected. Some guests tell us they woke up to thick smoke filling their hotel rooms. Other woke up to the fire alarm going off. Everyone was told to evacuate. It was very clear, yes, smoke and more specifically out in the hallways, it was getting pretty white out there. It was pretty thick. Reporter so a harrowing few moments for the dozens of guests staying at this days inn hotel. Newest information is that they have been allow back into their hotel rooms. All of a sudden, the driver intentionally ran off the road and ran over a group of snow geese. Lank said he wanted to chase after the driver but decided not to.
