Thats not happening. Its already in the 40s in the pocono mountains as the rain in the mountains comes to an end. It is a dampened slope. The temperatures are falling, gusty winds have kicked in. Its already ending for most of pennsylvania, just a few light rain showers now moving through center city. Heavier shower moving into Atlantic County from cumberland county, moving just to the southeast of vineland. These showers have been moving through very quickly at near 06 miles an hour. That heavy downpour, youre not going to see it for very long. It will move through Atlantic County and then head up through burlington and ocean counties, then its out to sea. Theres cape may. Rain is starting to taper off and tail off, too. It wont last much longer, neither will the temperatures. 52 in philadelphia. Big wins for trump in georgia, alabama and tennessee. As for ted cruz, the texas senator won his home state and three others. He picked up 57 delegates in texas alone. Marco rubio, he came through for one victory and that was right here in minnesota. Now on the democratic side, Hillary Clinton won six primaries, mostly in the south. Bernie sanders scored four victories. Clinton grabbed the most delegates and now has nearly half the amount needed to clinch the partys nomination. What is the delegate twirchs between sanders and clinton . The former secretary of state has a 630 delegate lead over sanders right now. Candidate spoke after the results started coming in last night. What youre seeing here, Hillary Clinton was in florida to talk about her victories. As for Bernie Sanders, he spoke to his supporters as well last night saying his campaign will continue to fight against powerful interests. Wall street may be against us and the super pac may be against us but you know what, we are going to win because our message is resonating and the people where we stand together will be victorious. Lets talk more about the republicans now. Still a hotly contested race for the Party Nomination there. It was not a trump runaway last night. Donald trump marked his victories in palm beach, florida last night. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was there to introduce him. On to texas senator ted cruz, he hinted that the gop contest should now be just between him and donald trump. Take a listen. So long as the field remains divided, Donald Trumps path to the nomination remains more likely. And that would be a disaster for republicans. And senator marco rubio from florida, he says he is staying in the race and vows to win his state when voters head to the polls in less than two weeks. Florida is a winner take all state in terms of republican delegates. He could potentially win 99 delegates in that state alone. Here is a look at the current delegate count for the democrats, Hillary Clinton is in the lead with 1,001. Senator Bernie Sanders has 371 delegates, 2,388 delegates are needed to win the democratic nomination. Those numbers still need to be updated on that graphic. As far as the republicans, donald trump isc leading the delegate count on the republican side with 285 delegates. Ted cruz has 161, marco rubio has 87 at this point. Philadelphia police are searching for a man who attacked a Police Officer. Nbc 10s drew smith is live on the scene in olney. Drew, what happened . Tracy, this happened at an Apartment Building here. You can see it. 24yearold man at one point was even wrestling a Philadelphia Police officer. And both ended up falling over the front railing. Calls began coming in to 911 just after midnight for domestic abuse, saying a man with a gun. Police found a man right outside the apartment. Police say he began arguing and refused to show his hands. It was during the course of a patdown that the physical fighting began with kicks and punches. Canine and helicopter search teams came out and looked around the area, traying to find this guy. Officers believe the 24yearold was hiding in the woods and he may have run into another apartment. They have not found him yet. Witnesses gave police a name and a couple of recent addresses for this guy. They hope that will lead to an arrest. The officer had bruising on his body. Philadelphia police are searching for a man who stabbed a woman in kensington. The video youre about to see is really disturbing. Investigators released this video of the crime. The woman got into an elevator at the septa huntingdon station. This man gets in after her. Waited for the doors to close. There you go. He stabs the victim repeatedly and demanded monday from her. She survived and he got away. We show the video to septa riders. Oh, my gosh, thats a shame. It shocks me a lot, because i take the septa train every day. I go to work, i come home and on septa. If you happen to recognize this attacker in this video, you are asked to call police. Meanwhile, police in ocean county are looking for vandals who they say committed a hate crime at a play ground. But here comes the snow and rain moving into the midwest and its going to track into our area while the temperatures remain cold. Thursday afternoon, the clouds will start to take over. By that time, light snow in southwestern pennsylvania. By late tomorrow evening, thursday evening at 11 00, scattered light snow showers that will continue into the friday morning commute. But we may also see some rain move in as well. Exact track of this storm system could come inland a little bit, which would drag in warmer air and limit snow totals for delaware and south jersey.
