Reporter the trial is expected to start this morning. Yesterday, both sides were in court arguing about what should be allowed during the trial. Perhaps the Biggest Issue of the day was the matter of a videotaped confession by eric frein after he was captured. Late yesterday the judge ruled the video is okay to show the jury. Eight women and four men will decide his fate. Accused of shooting Corporal Brian Dixon and trooper douglas. Dixon was killed and douglas was injured. Its been 2. 5 years since the shooting, and prosecutors are ready to get this in front of the jury. Well be looking forward to starting the trial tomorrow and bringing justice forth on behalf of all the victims in this matter. Reporter prosecutors are seeking the Death Penalty in this case. Former Philadelphia District attorney lynn abraham is suing to have the current d. A. , Seth Williams, removed from office. Abraham and another lawyer argue that state law prevents williams from keeping his job because his law license is temporarily suspended. Williams said hell stay in office doing administrative work while fighting federal bribery and extortion charges. Neither he nor his lawyer has commented on the lawsuit. Those crimes happened within a sixblock area of West Philadelphia over the last two weeks. The crime spree began march 17th with a robbery of a cab driver near 59th and market streets.
