But we wanted to do more than just introduce you to local people attending the festivities. We talked to tim housefield. Hes a republican for delaware and served as a delegate for the state. He talked candidly with me about coming around to president elect trump. And the changes he wants to see with the new administration. He said the very first thing that needs to happen is unity within the Republican Party and across party lines. After an election, its important to come together, to work together, for the benefit of the country. I think they should give him an opportunity to propose his ideas and see if they work. He did win the election fair and square. And to be honest with you, he was not my first choice. I was a marco rubio supporter. But when he won the primary fair and square, i got behind him. And now that hes in the president ial election, i will support the president. Reporter and as youre very well aware there will be supporters as well as prof protesters, d. He will, he said he respects their decision what they plan to do but he doesnt agree with their decision. I think to reflect, really reflect on the peoples voice in choosing who their leader is, respecting the idea that the people have spoken. I hope that well move beyond this and get to working together on the problems of the day. But i intend to do that. That makes philly the only major city that wont have its entire delegation here. Here in washington, efforts are under way to repeal obamacare. President elect donald trump ran on that issue and republicans are looking on making that a reality. The big question remains what will replace and what does it mean for the 44 million covered by the Affordable Care act. We may know more as the deputy chair of the Republican Party, i talked to her earlier this week, shes part of the team already working on headlights care.
