A witness told police he saw a man get out of a car on east erie avenue and hit a woman in the head with a baseball bat. He then said the man dragged the victim into his car and took off. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants. He may have been driving a black chevy cruz. Philadelphia police are trying to track down the driver who hit a man and sped off. Investigators say the victim was crossing lehigh avenue around 7 00 last night when he was struck by a mercedes. The driver drove off, has not been caught. The victim, in his 30s, is listed in stable condition at
