From our south Jersey Bureau theres debate whether to put new casinos in north jersey, now another debate about who should own the casinos. There is a bill in the assembly that would require both new casino licenses to go to companies that already own a casino but lawmakers unveiled a new plan which would only apply the requirement to one of the licenses. Lawmakers will have to pick one of the bills, then in november Voters Decide if the state issues the new licenses. Atlantic citys eight casinos saw their winnings increase by less than 1 in november.
