and 88 in trenton. this is only going to get worse as the day progresses. those dumts are on the rise. here is why. our satellite and radar doing a great job picking up on all of that moisture. you can actually see thunderstorms moving through and headed in our direction. i will time those out for you hour by hour. locally right now we are not seeing any threats of showers, not now. we will soon enough start to see showers and thunderstorms moving into our area across the delaware valley. current winds right now ranging between 13 miles per hour for allento allentown, 15 for dover and 15 for millville. the cold front is dipping on down from the northwest. it will be a trigger mechanism later this afternoon. we notice that we are in the area here. the light green and dark green area. we are under a marginal risk here. 4:30 we start to see the greens and really not organized at all. they toend pack a punch with all of that moist air and it is sweeping through from north west to months in prison. cities planned to fight opiod addiction. >> pamela osborne the live at city hall with details on the task force's recommendations, pam. >> reporter: well, you may remember he created that task force about six months ago. the meeting is wrapping up inside right now. today they issued recommendations with governor tom wolf as well. they target areas such as prevention and after someone becomes addicted. so to start off working with healthcare providers about reducing the doses and amount of prescriptions they prescribe because studies show many heroin users start off with prescription pills. we heard pretty alarming statistics in there. od's cause three times as many deaths as homicides in the city. take a listen to what else they had to say. >> having treatment available is only one part of the challenge. a bigger challenge often is getting people to go to treatment. 90% of the people in the city who have an addiction are not in treatment. 80% of them don't believe they need to be in treatment. >> and one of the things that i thought was interesting, one of the recommendations is to look into the possibility of perhaps having a center where people who are in the middle of a drug addiction but not ready for treatment yet could go and use with medical personnel there to supervise until that person is ready to get into treatment. it is one of the many the upper 60s. for dover at 7 is 1. it is 67 for trenton. before you open that one drch. >> so it feels like we do have the high dew points. it feels like 90 in dover right now. it is 86 in allentown and 88 in trenton. this is only going to get worse as the day progresses. those dumts are on the rise. here is why. our satellite and radar doing a great job picking up on all of that moisture. you can actually see thunderstorms moving through and headed in our direction. i will time those out for you hour by hour. locally right now we are not seeing any threats of showers, not now. we will soon enough start to see showers and thunderstorms moving into our area across the delaware valley. current winds right now ranging between 13 miles per hour for allento allentown, 15 for dover and 15 for millville. the cold front is dipping on down from the northwest. it will be a trigger mechanism later this afternoon. we notice that we are in the area here. the light green and dark green area. we are under a marginal risk here. 4:30 we start to see the greens and really not organized at all. they toend pack a punch with all of that moist air and it is sweeping through from north west to southeast. hour by hour clears. they will be fast and furious. of course we'll be timing those out for you and when you can expect those in your neighborhood. i do expect hail as well. i'll give you that heads up. friday our expected high temperature 92 degrees. saturday 72. notice the 20 degree drop. we'll stay there for the next several days. tracking isolated thunderstorms on wednesday. looks breaking news out of new york this morning where anthony weiner pleaded guilty to a section charge. he said i have a sickness but i do not have an excuse. weiner will be sentenced between 21 and 27 months in prison. cities planned to fight opiod addiction. >> pamela osborne the live at city hall with details on the task force's recommendations, pam. >> reporter: well, you may remember he created that task force about six months ago. the meeting is wrapping up inside right now. today they issued recommendations with governor tom wolf as well. they target areas such as prevention and after someone becomes addicted. so to start off working with healthcare providers about reducing the doses and amount of prescriptions they prescribe because studies show many heroin users start off with prescription pills. we heard pretty alarming statistics in there. od's cause three times as many deaths as homicides in the city. take a listen to what else they had to say. >> having treatment available is only one part of the challenge. a bigger challenge often is getting people to go to treatment. 90% of the people in the city who have an addiction are not in treatment. 80% of them don't believe they need to be in treatment. >> and one of the things that i thought was interesting, one of the recommendations is to look into the possibility of perhaps having a center where people who are in the middle of a drug addiction but not ready for treatment yet could go and use with medical personnel there to supervise until that person is ready to get into treatment. it is one of the many sweden's top prosecutor said she has with drawn an arrest warrant for assage. he has been hold up in ecuador since 2012 in order to avoid extradition. he still fiss a british arrest warrant for jumping bail. the family said they can't be sure how he died until they see completed toxicology tests. his wife said he told her he may have taken extra anti anxiety pills and was slurring his words.
