it looks like this cold front will continue to work its way into our area and because conditions right now locally are so warm and so muggy, we are definitely expecting some isolated thunderstorms by tomorrow afternoon, and some of them could actually be severe, so, of course, you want to monitor them with us and follow us on social media at nbc philadelphia. stillwater perspective once again. loin of thunderstorms and active weather west of us. all of that heading in our direction. for today we saw some areas of showers, and it looks like we're not done yet. still some scattered showers festivities. today's pride parade comes just after the one-year anniversary of the pulse nightclub shooting. was that on people's minds today? >> yeah, denies. we did see some shirts today referencing that attack just over one year ago and showing support for those affected. it was something also mentioned here on stage at the pride festival this afternoon, but overall this was a day of celebration, both for the community and for individuals. in philadelphia, they burst on to locust street. the philly pride parade set to music and surrounded by crowds who come for spectacle and also the feeling of pride. chris rudolph was here from maryla maryland. you came here just for this? >> it's a good time to see old friends and new friends and enjoy pride. >> reporter: for some it's an festival. live at penn's landing, i'm lauren mayk, nbc 10 news. >> thank you, lauren. new at 6:00, an 11-year-old girl from new jersey is dead after she was electrocuted while playing in a lagoon. police say the girl was in a raft with two of her friends saturday night when she touched a rail on a metal both lift. she died at the hospital a short time later. the other two children were okay, and police say adults were watching the kids when this happened. well, philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a center city nightclub overnight. authorities say a fight broke out inside the reserve lounge around 2:00 this morning and spilled out on to arch street. at least 20 shots were fired. one man died at the scene and another victim showed up at a hospital in wilmington. he is in stable condition. so far there are no arrests. there are questions tonight about whether president trump is under investigation by the special counsel for possible obstruction of justice. this as the russian election probe continues. the president tweeted last week he was being investigated, but today a member of his legal team denied that. this morning on "meet the press" jay sekulow appeared to defend president trump from an investigation he simultaneously claimed did not exist. >> the president is not under investigation by the special counsel. the tweet from the president was in response to the five anonymous sources that were purportedly leaking information to "the washington post" about a potential investigation of the president. >> the "the washington post" reported last week that the probe has broadened to investigate if president trump attempted to obstruct justice. well, a heads up. if you travel by bus or troll, new septa schedules are now in to surprise dad with a picnic. the girls said it was mom's idea. and speaking of dads, it was a special delivery for a south jersey firefighter just in time for father's day. we'll introduce you to the new arrival still ahead. and fighting back. a homeowner grabs a weapon of his own when masked men break in. see how he got the upper hand. that's next. more than 60 people are dead after a raging forest fire in central portugal swept over a road. 60 more people are hurt and many trapped in their cars. a lightning strike is believed to have sparked that fire. it happened during what's called a dry thunderstorm. that's when rain evan rates before it hits the ground. portugal has declared three days of national mourning. >> a gun man opened fire on a crowd of people in myrtle beach, south carolina. a man in a nearby hotel captured it with his cell phone, and it all started with a fight. when the man got to his feet he started shooting. seven people were hurt or hit rather, including the gunman and nearby security guard shot him and everybody survived. >> and a florida homeowner takes matters into his own hands after a group of armed robbers tried to raid his home. it was caught on camera, and you can see one mass intruder with a shotgun and that did not stop the homeowner. he retaliates with a machete. he was able to hold the suspect until police arrived. five suspects are do have the threat of some severe thunderstorms just moving west from west pennsylvania and severe thunderstorm watches as well. do i expect that to be here by tomorrow. locally we do have a flood advisory that's been issued. a first alert for a stormy monday, including, well, for everybody, pretty much the entire viewing area. all neighborhoods route 78, route 76 and 4476 are probably my biggest concern, and that's because we do have the potential for stronger winds in that vicinity. when from noon to 11:00 p.m. although i do think we'll see severe storms after 4:00 p.m. tomorrow and what does it mean, heavy rain, strong to severe thunderstorms and damaging wind and possibly some power outages. so a live look outside right now. we were seeing some showers earlier and now we're still seeing a lot of clouds right now. really soupy skies for this sunday evening, and temperatures right now in and around philadelphia, seeing pretty warm conditions and, in fact, it's really muggy still. 87 degrees for torresdale and west mount airy 85 and chestnut hill currently at 84 degrees. washington township at 85 and pitman 87 and vore heese at 88 and pemberton 85 and pemberton and dew
