office and knew something hashand. >> reporter: dennis manos who has delivered pizza the tom nadescribed what was a cis scene. >> they had gloves on and were taking photos. >> reporter: tricoche will be arraigned in court tomorrow afternoon. a source says tricoche is responsible for beating two other siblings inside that home. ages two-2-months old and 4 years old and charges are still pending. we new jersey next week. the clock is ticking for green party candidate jill stein who has tomorrow to meet the deadline. already on the ballot in new jersey and pennsylvania and just learned libertarian candidate gary johnson made an 11th hour push to get his name filed for the keystone state. nbc 10's lauren mayk spoke with supporters of both candidates. >> republican or democrat. the traditional choice but not the only one for voters. >> i've done door knocking and people will say what's this green party. they never heard of us. >> hillary cain says she was drawn to the green party for its values. >> some of the highlights are the environment. social juice tis and grass roots democracy and nonviolence. >> explaining the third-party option can be a challenge. >> they will say are you a democrat or a rope can? no, it's not just coke and pepsi. there are other things out there. >> reporter: for the 2016 race voters in many states have third-party choices for president including green party candidate jill stein and libertarian candidate gary johnson. >> the johnson state director in pennsylvania and at 19 it's his first presidential election but he's been a johnson support. >> there's a candidate and party that is sane. let's stop bombing people and expect them to be passive and let's stop intervening in northern affairs. >> reporter: both parties are getting a look from voters with their democrat and republican party ticket choices. >> i call it the bernie bump. >> reporter: and though donaldson might have voted green in another cycle this time he's going with clinton. >> the stakes being what they are, i feel like she's not -- she's -- she may not be my first choice, my not be my ideal choice but feel like she's the responsible choice. danielle blackwell is still undecideded? >> would you consider voting for a third party? >> i would, yes. >> reporter: for johnson and stein getting enough support to get in the debate could be critical. >> do you believe he could win the white house? >> absolutely. >> as long as people realize that there are more than two candidates. >> reporter: i'm lauren mayk, nbc 10 news. >> the latest survey monkey poll from last week shows clinton leading the pack at 43%. trump 37%, libertarian candidate gary johnson with 11% of the vote and the green party's jill stein just 4%. clinton's running mate tim kaine campaigned in las vegas today where he talked jobs and the economy. the senator from virginia spoke at the iron worker's union annual convention and kaine told the crowd that donald trump owes it to the public to reveal more details will his income and debt. mike pence also hit the campaign trail taking part in an event in cedar rapids, iowa, where he spoke about hillary clinton's's e-mails and called on the clinton foundation to shut down. tomorrow the indiana governor will head to pennsylvania and is holding a town hall in pipersville bucks county. former arizona congresswoman gabby giffords and her husband mark kelly are taking a stand in pennsylvania's high-profile u.s. senate race. the gun control advocates are throwing their support behind republican senator pat toomey. in an editorial published today they praised toomey from breaking away from the gun lobby and bacuna 2013 he voted to expand background checks at gun sales and online following the mass shooting at sandy hook elementary school. giffords was seriously wounded in another mass shooting back in 2011. toomey's democratic opponent katie mcguinty is challenging that endorsement. her campaign says her positions on gun control are more in line with giffords while senator sunni has hardly strayed from the nra recently. today mcguinty was in lancaster where she met with latino community leaders. nbc invasion where a philadelphia man was shot and killed in front of his six children. police identified the victim as 36-year-old hakim raman. two gunmen broke into his home in hunting bark around 1:30 this afternoon and they also shot his wife. she's in critical condition and they were all home at the time and some of them were in the bedroom and witnessed the deadly shooting. neighbors say they are stunned. >> i've never seen there. i just moved there like two nfl months. >> police are still looking for those two gunmen. >> happening now at 6:00. a demolition project that will affect drivers in parts of north philadelphia. this is a live picture right here as crews prepare to bring down the west sejry avenue bridge. just behind the barriers. this will impact traffic the next couple of months. they will begin putting up a new bridge. construction on that new $1-2 $ million bridge will be completely year's end. federal authorities will not be charging a pair of bridgeton officers in the death of a man during a traffic stop in december of 2014. today the fbi and the u.s. attorney's office closed their investigations without charging the officers. if you recall a cumberland county grand jury had already decided not indict the officers. something you won't want to hear about today brought a change to traffic in the university of delaware. good for pedestrians. the crossing here at east wayne street and the university is home to a new traffic signal. the signal has been up for the past few days but only flashing yellow. today is the first time drivers have had to stop and go. we have new video from a home invasion and that's where an elderly man was injured. the suspect's car is believed to be a red sedan and police say the man forced his way into the victim's home last friday and then got into a scuffle with the 81-year-old victim the suspect made off with money, electronics and jewelry and there's a $20,000 reward for you a rest and conviction in this case. in other news. new at 6:00. the impending closure of the taj mahal in atlantic city is affecting more than the casino workers. nbc 10 down done the show spoke with business owners who they say situation at the taj is putting a dent in their bottom line and nothing new for them and any casino shutdown won't be for long. >> they will reopen in the spring either under the same umbrella of the icahn corporation or somebody else. nashoba casino back in action will help supplement any lost reven revenue. also new at 6:00, gabby douglas is moving from the medal stand to the judge's table. the olympic gymnast has been added as a celebrity judge for the 2017 miss america competition taking place september 11th in atlantic city. douglas helped team usa take home team gold in rio. she was also coastline. >> really brings it full circle for me. >> an eye full that's a first for margaret walls. >> i've always had the view from land and wondered how do they do that? >> head of the beach protection advocaty group was among those who got a chance to board the liberty island. >> our target depth is 56 feet. >> reporter: it's one of three dredges being used to pump sand on part of long beach island as part of the beach replenishment and repair project. >> each load is 500 dump trucks that you would say and we take six loads a day. >> reporter: work includes fixing areas damaged by coastal storms last fall and winter, but its timing in the summer -- >> in order to protect the coastline in new jersey somebody will be getting sand in the sum sneer a new plan by statement lawmakers would double the amount of money earmarked by shore protection projects for transfer fees from $25 million a year to 50 million. >> since sandy we've had so many projects and the need for some the rest of the area and delaware at 81 degrees as well. the temperature trend has gone down. it was 93 on saturday and 89 sunday and 83 for the high today and pretty close to that tomorrow, and then we start creeping up wednesday and really start going up thursday and friday. so we have a lot of sunshine, and we have a land breeze today and that's were ventner at 880 is very close to the temperature. may's landing, inland ocean temperature 170 and tomorrow a sea breeze will keep the coastal areas a little bit cooler than today. satellite radar not showing much of anything out there. it's dry across a good bit of country except the deep south. that's the system that came through yesterday and brought the rain and thunderstorms. as we look into tomorrow, again, nothing but sunshine. high temperatures 82 and a fair amount of wind at 81 and reading at 81 degrees. fairly uniform. even at the jersey shore, but it will be a little bit cooler there. 79 in longport and in avalon with the afternoon sea breeze. we're entering the historic peak of hurricane season as we go through mid-august and mid-october period. the absolute peak day is september 10th, so we should be seeing more activity in the atlantic, and we are. this is fiona which is a tropical storm which is weakening. this system we're watching closely. that could cause some problems somewhere in a week or so. another system off the coast of africa and another one right at the coast of africa and then others in the middle of africa, so it's one after another and some of those vem develop and some of those end up coming in the general direction of the western hemisphere. this is the temperature trend, and can you see it's going up. by thursday we're up to 90 in philadelphia and 59 in the p.a. suburbs and 88 in the lehigh valle valleys. nothing but sunny symbols here. don't goat show that very often. we get thunderstorms and we're just not seeing that. here's the temperature. 90 thursday and 94 friday and humidity so that's going to be the most uncomfortable day that we're going to see in the next week, but you don't see any rain. saturday is 88 degrees and a little bit lower humidity
