i was watching television with my husband sitting next to the window in our chair and i looked out the window and i saw this black truck pull up and a gentleman got out and he had a hoody on and he had a mask. and he went oifr to the front door, knocked, nothing happened. he went to the back-door and nothing happened. he came to the porch again and my neighbor doesn't use air conditioner very much so he always has the window open a couple inches. so this gentleman saw that and took the green off, opened up. the window, climbed in. i called 911. >> what did you hear that made you call 911? >> what happened was i was watching television with my husband. >> are you guys okay? >> i'm talking to nbc. >> is it okay if we go up to your second floor window. >> yeah, you can come up here now. >> before you go back, tell me what's happening now. >> police came into our home and they want to kol up to our bedroom window and watch what's happening across the street. the police are in my bedroom. i'm in the middle bedroom. so i can talk to you. he's in the other bedroom. which is closest to where he's able to see better. >> you have police -- >> wait a minute, somebody came out i can't see the truck is in the way, but somebody came out of the house and has their hands up. >> we can see that, too. we see two men in the front lawn. and both oaf them have their hands over their heads. one is walking backwards towards police. and then the other one is in front of them. >> i thank god it's done. i've been praying that police would get them. and protection for the police. >> all four suspects arrested in the break in face multiple charges including home invasion and weapons charges. >> thank goodness for her being so vigilant and making that call. the incident was random and could have happened to anyone. mitch is here with more on the men charged in this case. >> two of them have long wrap sheets from philadelphia to pennsylvania. they are now no strangers to law enforcement. sky force 10 captures the dramatic end to a three hv hour standoff. a 22-year-old and 31-year-old back their way toward police. the nbc 10 investigators found this is not their first run in with the law. court records show the 22-year-old pled guilty to drug possession in bucks county in 2015 in 2016 in philadelphia, he pled guilty to having a gun without a license. he's on probation in both philadelphia and montgomery counties. his 31-year-old alleged accomplice has a much longer criminal past. court records show a 2015 drug possession charge, 2009 guilty plea for terrorist threats and causing a serious public inconvenience in forest county. we also found a 2006 guilty plea in philadelphia to robbery, theft and receiving stolen property. both men spent time in jail and at 75. the water temperature of 73 degrees. not bad but it could be warm and will be in the days to comp. the average is 86. we'll be trending that way over the next couple days. here's a look at move in. that's the air you see moving across harrisburg. they are clouds that indicate it's a beautiful day outside. that's what we're got coming our way tomorrow. 84 for the high in fairmont. low 80s through the suburbs. and you see a mirror image over berks county. sunny conditions out there. right near 80 degrees for our forecast high temperature. and in delaware, low 80s as well. really nice stretch for the next couple days. no issues tomorrow morning. there's nothing to track except for the sunshine. we're going to stay clear into thursday with a repeat thursday of the nice conditions. enjoy it while you can because then rolls in the weekend and it's a little different frafrt. friday we'll bring the possibility of showers later in the day across the area. temperatures are in the low 80s over philadelphia. the suburbs and the lehigh valley, upper 70s for the shore and delaware. we go to your weekend, both saturday and sunday we have the chance of at least scattered long, nbc 10 news. digging for the right change to pay your parking meter can be a pain. the lehigh valley steps are underway to ease the burden. the burro council voted to revise parking meter rates allowing drivers to pay with nickels and dimes. only quarters were previously accepted. the council e voted to give business owners the option of buying parking permits for $50 a month. . and a warning for drivers who travel along i-95 in delaware county. expect lane closures during a bridge construction project in chester. the affected lanes will be between the blue route and the route 352 interchange. closures continue until friday. traveling through center city, a resurfacing project will begin in two hours and continue every night this week. from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. through friday, crews will resurface 20 skretreets of the parkway. a new report shows two hospitals are among the top 20 in the kocountry. a report released its national honor roll rankings today. the prosecutions have gone down in recent years. we're going to be bringing them up rapidly. >> a commission appointed by president trump described the death toll from overdoses every three weeks. their recommendations include more treatments and expanded access to treatments as well as protections for individuals who report overdoses. the open yoip epidemic is widespread. opioid overdoses claimed 33,000 lives in 2015. it's an epidemic that's hit america's heartland. 22 overdoses were reported in the cincinnati area in one 24-hour period last week weekend along. last month the mayor lost her in philadelphia's kensing on to neighborhood. they found a 28-year-old man dead on the second floor of a home just before 11:00 lst night. they ruled it a case of arson. a second man jumped from a those are moving out and pulling in much drier air. that's going to keep the humidity very low for the next couple days. that mean it's going to be incredibly comfortable. sunny and 84 wednesday. we bring back showers for friday and thunderstorms possible into the weekend. 83 for tomorrow. mid-80s on friday. in the lehigh valley, about the same. we stay in the 80s through the next several days. only 78 at the jersey shore and 82 in delaware. all of to the shore for a long weekend. 9 on thursday. 8 friday. that's across the map mostly in the later afternoon hours ask then that thunderstorm
