just before 11:00 last night in a parking lot. investigators say a driver pulled up to the atm when a man walked over with a gun. the driver took off first and then wont back to get his card from the machine and that's when police say the suspect jumped out at him. the man hit him with his car as the suspect stabbed a knife through the windshield and then the victim drove off. >> he was scared because he's only been here for a month and he was in fear that he would be arrested. but when the police had his car, he decided to come forward and cooperate. >> the robbery suspect was critically hurt, he's expected to face charges. defense attorneys gave opening statements in the market street collapse trial today. they said the owner had no connection to the collapse, which killed 7 and injured 12. the building collapsed on to the salvation army thrift storm. attorneys for the salvation army gave their opening statements and testimony is expected to last for at least two months. from our lehigh valley bureau, the crime rate is falling in allentown. the city's mayor and police chief released a new report today, showing crime is down about 16% from the previous year. the city now played out on a road friday in tulsa, oklahoma. 42-year-old terrance crutcher was not cooperating as he walked back toward his stalled suv. but video from both the police cruiser dash cam and another video, an officer tasered him and then he was shot by officer betty shelby. the video shows that no one check on selby for more than a minute. the police chief confirmed that crutcher was not armed. the police chief said that crutcher ignored officers commands kept touching his pocket. by showing an enlarged freeze frame of the video, we have blurred parking lot of that image because it is graphic. >> this is the objective video frame that shows that the window was up, so how could he be reaching into the car if the window is up? >> crutcher's twin sister is demandi ining justice and investigation ahmad khan rahami two years ago. neighbors say they made rahami's father call him a terror. the father tells us he made that statement after an argument in the heat of a moment inside their home. after multiple interviews, the fbi found no ties to terrorism. we just learned minutes ago about rahami's employment. he worked as a security guard. streets are still blocked up in new handy because you certainly will need them. be sure you follow our updates on social media. a man who appeared to be the victim of a hit and run last night was actually a robbery suspect. it happened just before 11:00 last night in a parking lot. investigators say a driver pulled up to the atm when a man walked over with a gun. the driver took off first and then wont back to get his card from the machine and that's when police say the suspect jumped out at him. the man hit him with his car as the suspect stabbed a knife through the windshield and then the victim drove off. >> he was scared because he's only been here for a month and he was in fear that he would be arrested. but when the police had his car, he decided to come forward and cooperate. >> the robbery suspect was critically hurt, he's expected to face charges. defense attorneys gave opening statements in the market street collapse trial today. they said the owner had no connection to the collapse, which killed 7 and injured 12. the building collapsed on to the salvation army thrift storm. attorneys for the salvation army gave their opening statements and testimony is expected to last for at least two months. from our lehigh valley bureau, the crime rate is falling in allentown. the city's mayor and police chief released a new report today, showing crime is down about 16% from the previous year. the city now the vittctim's family disputed the turn of events. >> you just saw cameras captured this shooting from at least two different angles. we do want to warn you, you may find the video disturbing. all played out on a road friday in tulsa, oklahoma. 42-year-old terrance crutcher was not cooperating as he walked back toward his stalled suv. but video from both the police cruiser dash cam and another video, an officer tasered him and then he was shot by officer betty shelby. the video shows that no one check on selby for more than a minute. the police chief confirmed that crutcher was not armed. the police chief said that crutcher ignored officers commands kept touching his pocket. by showing an enlarged freeze frame of the video, we have blurred parking lot of that image because it is graphic. >> this is the objective video frame that shows that the window was up, so how could he be reaching into the car if the window is up? >> crutcher's twin sister is demandi ining justice and the pe chief is promising justice to be done. >> his life mattered. his life mattered. >> i want to assure our community and i want to assure all of you and people across the nation that are going to be looking at this, we whether achieve justice, period. >> group demonstrators gathered to protest crutcher's shooting, protesters calling for the case to not be handled by the local government, took the backpack to bring it with him. >> i just thank god that i'm still alive and we're all still alive, the people of elizabeth. >> police say the backpack was a bomb planted there by ahmad khan rahami. the elizabeth location, so close to the train station and bus depot may have been chosen to inflict mass casualties. but because of white and parker, police detonated the device without anyone notice the jet stream dipping on down as well. we're seeing some blues here, denoting that we do have those cooler temperatures by saturday and sunday. get those jackets ready on sunday, i'm telling you, it's going to be a lot cooler, a big difference there, upper 60s for some. on the bottom of the screen, you will see your 10-day forecast. we're seeing 80s for thursday, and saturday. overnight lows mainly in the 60s, then notice here, saturday into sunday, i do think we'll see cooler temperatures overnight here. upper 60s is the expected high on sunday. the big story of course would be by sunday into monday. i think we'll start the off rather cool. some may see upper 30s, certainly lots of low and mid 40s. and monday seeing 72 as the expected high temperature. we're going to trend dry for the next couple of days, in fact, i think next seven to ten days, but clouds will eventually push offshore, so more sunshine in the forecast for tomorrow, through the end of the week, but again,
