Its not exactly going to be football weather even by sunday when its significantly cooler than its going to be saturday. Its 92 in philadelphia now. Were in the 90s across much of the rest of the area. But of course, not just about the heat. The humidity is high. And that makes it feel like its over 100 in many parts of the area. We showed you delaware a little earlier. This is new jersey. 107, and 108 in mount laurel. Millville 105. You hardly see any places below 100. Robbinsville 104. Princeton 102. And princeton tends to read a little cooler than a lot of the other places. No rain relief, thats for sure. You can see showers and thunderstorms, pretty impressive. Thats up by lake erie. As we go into our area, remember that shower in Lancaster County . Well, that just died. It is gone. So it feels like 100plus. The question is, how long is that going to be . All the way through saturday, thats for sure. By saturday, 96, feeling like 103, feeling like over 100. Three days in a row. And next week is going to be different. Its not going to be nearly as hot next week. Now, were close to records. Tomorrow we may even break it. The record is 94 in philadelphia. Predicting 95. Allentown may be a little shy of the record. The record is 95. But we have other places like newark, delaware, going to be close. And of course, with the high humidity, its going to feel hotter than that, as youll see here. As we go through the night tonight, it doesnt really drop very much. The coolest it feels like is about 82 tonight. And were feeling like 100 or higher, even by dinnertime tomorrow night. And by saturday, its going to be a similar thing. Were going to be in the 90s to near 100 degrees by late afternoon. So there is just no break until sunday. As far as getting a chance of rain, not much. This is friday on the futurecast. You can see a few showers breaking out. Perhaps berks county, lehigh valley, poconos. The rest of the area looks dry. And a lot of sunshine at the shore. Looks like a nice weekend there. And we dont see much of a threat on saturday either. Neighborhood, somerton 94, feeling like 99. Allentown, 93, feeling like 97. Tomorrow, even the shore is going to be pretty hot because of the northwest wind. Margate 90, feeling like 97. Wilmington 94, feeling like 98 degrees. Over the weekend were going to see a dramatic drop in temperature. A 10degree drop, but its also going to be much less humid. Its going to feel much, much cooler. The jersey shore is going to be fairly similar, though, because of the sea breeze that were going to be getting on saturday. And for the eagles game, still kind of warm for football. But way better than saturday. 81 at kickoff. 86 degrees at the end of the game. Well see about the big cooldown next week coming up a little bit later. Looking forward to that, glenn, thanks.
