Shorefooted in awareness secure in faith and did not fear death. Yet his timing is once again poignant. His passing and its meaning for our time should not be overlooked. As we face uncertainty in a world of divisions at home, as to who we are as a people, muhammads life provides useful guidance. Muhammad was not one to give up on the power of understanding, the boundless possibilities of love, and the strength of our diversity. He counted among this friends people are all political persuasion, saw truth in all faith and the nobility of all races as witnessed here today. Muhammad may have challenged his government but he never ran from it or from america. [ applause ] he loved his country and he understood the hard choices that are born of freedom. I think he saw a nations soul measured by the soul of its people. For his part he saw the good soul in everyone. And if you were one of the lucky ones to have met him, you know what i meant. He awoke every morning thinking about his own salvation and would often say, i just want to get to heaven and ive got to do a lot of good deeds to get there, and i think muhammads hope is that his life provides some guidance on how we might achieve for all people what we aspire for ourselves and our family. But instead of drawing on that pain from the distorted reality, she found strength, just as this man did when he stood tall in the face of the rain and shouted, i am the disturbance in the sea of your complacency, and i will never stop shaking your waves. And his voice echoed through hers, through mine. And she picked up the rocks that were thrown at her, and she threw them back with a voice so powerful that it turned all the pain that she had faced in her life into strength, and tenacity. And now that 8yearold girl stands before you to tell you that alis cry still shakes these waves today. Reporter Philadelphia Police say special victims detectives are interviewing an exotic member of the Philadelphia Eagles of assaulting her yesterday about 3 00 p. M. Currently investigating an allegation of a Sexual Assault. Reporter Philadelphia Police say the aled assault happened inside the cheerleaders Gentlemens Club the 27yearold was working as a dancer and accuses a member of the Eagles Organization of sexually assaulted her yesterday afternoon. Involving allegedly a member of the Philadelphia Eagles organization. At this point in time our special victims unit is actively investigating that incident. Reporter the eagles released a statement indicating wide receiver Nelson Aguilar is the focus of a Police Investigation. We are aware of the Police Investigation involving Nelson Aguilar, the organization has been in contact with nelson and with the proper authorities in philadelphia. Because of the legal nature of this matter, we will have no further comment. Aguilar reporter aguilar signed with the eagles as the 20th pick in the 2015 draft. His attorney tells nbc 10 he has not been involved in any criminal conduct. Police say no charges have been filed, and their detectives have not inviewed anyone from the eagleses fwhaut could be coming. No one charged, no warrant for anything or anyone at this particular time. Were currently going through the investigative process, early in those stages. It will be quite some time until we move to anything else. That area goes from the jersey shore all the way back to detroit. A very large area that is going to be potentially threatened, but in our region, the higher threat comes from the areas north and west of philadelphia. Theres still a chance of severe storms in northern delaware and other parts of new jersey. We could extend the first alert possibly later on this evening. Check for that later on tonight. Customers should keep this car. The septa card is a reloadable fare card youll be able to use to take all mass transit except regional rails, coming onboard later. The Pilot Program launches monday at 6 00 a. M. 10,000 riders, first come first serve, can purchase the card through kiosks like this one.
