One woman suffered smoke inhalati inhalation. Firefighters got the upper hand. Its been labeled an accident. Causing more damage. Im told people from the community almost immediately started showing up here with dags of clothing for the children and their Elementary School is now coordinating an islandwide fundraiser for that family. Philadelphia District Attorney zt williams just left an appearance in federal court a week after indicted for bribery and corruption charges. His lawyer wants off the case. Michael diamondstooen filed paperwork say iing he cant affd to pay him. Asking the judge to be formally removed, but that did not happen. The judge said he would have to stay on until another attorney could take over. Williams says he has someone willing to take his case ask could start representing him as early as friday. He makes 175,000 a year but has a welldocumented trail of financial troubles. His indictment last week alleges that he traded his influence for gifts and cash. The news comes as the head of the House Intelligence Committee cancelled a hearing about russia today. They say the 2yearold boy showed signs of malnutrition and physical abuse, huh bu his cause of death has yet to be determined. He faces charges at the toddler was found dead at the apartment in west ok lane. Police found the 2yearold identified wednesday night on a bed in the rear bedroom. He was naked and emaciated. This man sat down with nbc 10 saying he had no choice but to kol forward. He asked we not identify him. The man went to police and told them he was trying to dispose of the boys body. He told nbc 10 he offered him 1,000 to do it. Hes charged with concealing the death of a child, reckless en j endangerment and abuse of corpse. Something had to be done. A cud shouldnt go that way. Investigators are waiting on toxicology results. Thap believe those results may shed more light on what killed the little toddler. Delaware is putting 600,000 into a statewide program that hps people fix their homes. The statewide program launched today and helps eligible ho homeowners fix safety issues. The Milford Housing Development had that program. Some of the funding will go to manufactured or mobile homes. Authorities in maryland say a student had a welldeveloped plan to attack her high school with a gun and bombs, but her parents stopped her. The father learned about the plan after reading her diary. Fortunately, he got caught in the crevice. Firefightered tied the boy to a rope. He was very scared but remarkably he wasnt hurt. The tsa is under fire today. An upset mom says her son got an aaggressive patdown. This happened last weekend at the dallasfort worth airport. She asked agents to youz an alternative screening process because their son suffers from a disorder that can cause anxiety in kids when they are touched. But this patdown lasted two minutes. My son felt extremely violated. He left the area and was upset for quite some time. We dealt with questions for several days now asking why that happened and what he did wrong. In a statement, the tsa said it allows for the patdown of a teenage passenger and in this case all approved procedures were followed to resolve the situation. Reporter it was supposed to be a twoweek restoration process, but the storms impacting what crews have been able to do here in the cemetery as far as uprighting these stones that were knock ed down.
