Late this afternoon washington states attorney general announced hes suing President Trump oemp hiS Immigration order and he becomes the first state attorney general to announce a legal action against the Trump Administration over one of its policies. He was actually one of 16 states attorney general who released a statement sunday calling mr. TrumpS Immigration action unamerican and unlawful. I dont think its necessarily being executed the way it should be. Meanwhile temple reaching out to future students from those countries who havent started yet. Its pretty quick but has anybody said, no ive decided not to come to this. Its what can we do to make sure i can still come. Lets take a look from a Kimmel Center where snow is coming down along broad street in center city. This is sort of a squall as glenn described it, a snowy walk to class. Looks like its tapered off now. Lets go to glenn to find out how this snows going to stick around. Its just amazing how quickly this thing is moving through. Its already improving in philadelphia five minutes ago i couldnt see the skyline now i can. 30 degrees temperature got knocked down by that snow squall. We have some in other parts of the area as well and the ben franklin bridge we could see it again. You couldnt see five minutes ago anything from this camera. Thats how fast things are improving and this is the same camera i showed you ten minutes ago from president ial city apartments. This is the schuylkill expressway. Its like nothing ever happened. Theres no snow on the highway. Theres no snow on the sidewalks and heres that squall coming through much of the area theres some more snow showers back to the west but this is the main one that as you can see moving right through the area. Now, as we zoom in well see that its pretty much out of center city. Thats why those camera shots are improving but its certainly is into south jersey, gloucester county, runny immediate getting some pretty heavy showers right now and Deptford Township as well. We also some snow squaulz at the shore dumping some briefly heavy snow for just a few minutes. Now we have a break after that and this is the next system. Looks like its going toeskting part of the area for tomorrow morning. Temperatures near the freezing mark right now and of course that is very significant especially with the sun setting. Most places in new jersey are above freezing but mullica hills been knocked down to 30. You can see how it varies depending on how heavy that snow shower is. Mt. Laurel 36, medford 38. Its not as heavy up there thats why the temperatures are higher. Princeton at 35 degrees. Now as we go through the next few hours well have a few more of these snow showers moved through. So again the greatest chance is north of philadelphia and then things quiet down as we head through the rest of the day. So what do we get for tomorrow . It has been a day full of snow for people in cape may. On the left you can see the snow. This is from around 8 30 this morning. On the right is what it looks like right now. So you can look at that comparison. We do have Team Coverage of this snow squall as it moves right through. We know its not behind us. A few minutes ago we were looking at that skyline and it was completely white. You could see the city itself. The snow that was going through that made the skyline hard to see now thats in new jersey. What youre seeing right now in the wide view is that squall. Lets zoom in to where were seeing the heavier snow and freeze the time clock right at 4 30 right through gloucester township and evesham stating to drop down to the southeast. You can see passing through millville down to maurice river. This is going to track right into Cape May County here and Atlantic County as it continues to drive along farther to the east. We see this pocket along the shore. So this line is quick moving as we mentioned. It was nearly whiteout that we were seeing on cameras. Now thats heading through jersey. We are talking temperatures that are dropping and visibility much different depending on where you are. So lets talk to glenn now about those conditions. It really has been amazing how things can change just minute by minute this afternoon. They actually had to have a ground stop at philly International Airport because the snow was coming down so hard that the visibility was so bad that you couldnt see much of anything. And now look at that visibility in the city. You cant even see clouds. Look to the west and thats how quickly things change around here with this kind of a weather pattern. Now this is obviously not like this mornings system or like tomorrow mornings which is a steady lighter snow. One thing that ive been watching this afternoon is up in central pennsylvania, you see a little bit of a swirl in these radar echos. Area of low pressure here. This is almost like a front that is coming through, so this is just think about it in a spring or summertime a line of showers moving through. You get heavy down pour and then minutes later the visibility is excellent and the rain is over. Thats whats happening this afternoon except with the snow. The visibility tells us how heavy the snow is. Its obviously improved quite a bit in the western suburbs. Doylestown 2. 5 miles visibility. Philly was a quarter mile just ten minutes ago. Its unlimited at ten miles. Northeast philly at three miles. And now millville, new jersey, crystal just showed you that heavy snow squall. It changes by the minute. As the sun goes down this whole system weakens and that is what well save us from having some big problems during the night tonight as the temperatures go down. Well check back with you. We had practically whiteout conditions in cape may here now the suns out. Theres no snow evidence of anything. So this is the wider view and what i was showing you was this little swirl here in the radar pattern. Thats a tiny area of low pressure and we can extend that to this line, like a cold front. We call that meso scale. These are very small scale items and just like in the summertime when you have brief heavy shower or thunderstorm.
