average during the weekday. nbc 10's andrea joins us live from the line for a look at the traffic trouble for the morning rush, andrea. >> reporter: well, denise, there's a message playing over the speakers in the station. but everybody we spoke to had no idea what was going on, which could make for a bigger havoc during tomorrow morning's rush. riders who use the line are preparing for more traffic starting tomorrow morning. >> i would definitely have to leave earlier for school. but, for going to work, i don't know what i'd have to do. that's during rush hour, i'd probably just have to put up it with. >> reporter: all because 30 to 40 rail cars are out of service until further inspection. this weekend engineers found cracks in the support beam on two rail cars during routine maintenance. now have they have to examine the entire flight. a shortage means delays are expected especially during rush hour. >> tomorrow i might taxi or a uber because it's going to be more traffic. >> reporter: officials say this problem is different from the cracks found this summer on the silver liner commuter rail train. but the havoc for passengers is expected to be the same. additional buses will be provided to help accommodate the crowd. >> they need to get it together. they need to get it together, that's all i'm going to say. >> so it's important to note that all of the trains that are currently running have been inspected and deemed safe. tomorrow afternoon we will be updated on the inspections and hoping to hear how long this will last. reporting live in weber. she was last seen wearing a white coat, blue polka-dot shirt and black pants. police say weber was taken from a home in burrwick a stranger abducted herd. driving a 2005 yellow ford mustang convertible. hwn-1367. police believe the kidnapper is heading towards three hours from philadelphia. and now for a first alert forecast, a brisk night for those just getting home from a super bowl want to show you the 24 hour temperature difference. so yesterday at this same time, it was 17 degrees colder than it is right now and allentown and 12 degrees colder in vineland. so conditions are warming up nicely. we have a nice trend in the works for the next couple of days. tomorrow's expected high temperatures ranging from the low to mid-40s for them, bethlehem, 42 for you. eastton, 42, redding seeing a high of 45 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds and clouds developing as the day progresses. mid to upper 40s for you. fairmount, 46. your expected high temperature. again, clouds developing as the day progresses. trenton, 45, some these numbers representative of the fact that we have a warm front sliding into the region and temperatures are going to climb into the 50s and is brewing in a federal appeal court about whether president trump's travel ban will stand. white house officials are appealing to reinstate the temporary ban which would prevent certain travelers and all refugees from seven majority muslim countries from entering the country. administration officials say they will prevail. the justice department has until tomorrow afternoon to file a counterresponse. in the meantime, migrants are boarding flights heading for the u.s. now the president tweeted just cannot believe a judge would put our country in such peril. if something happens blame him and court system. people pouring in, bad. the president then said i have instructed homeland security to check people coming into our country very carefully. the courts are making the jobs very difficult. now here's the president on the travel ban tonight on fox news. >> very smooth. 109 people out of hundreds of thousands of travelers. and all we did was vet those people very, very carefully. >> despite protests across the country and overseas, supporters say the president is doing a good job. now a group of people gathered in front of trump tower in new york city today for a rally in support of the president. supporters waved american flags and they carried signs of encouragement and sang patriotic sangs. tonight a local family is closer to having their relatives arrive from syria. we've been following the case of the family from allentown all week long. they're about to leave abu dhabi and arrive tomorrow in new york. we talked to the family as they anxiously hope for the best this time around. >> reporter: at the home in all allentown, they're keeping busy preparing food for a welcome they hope will happen. did you do all this last time as well? >> last time, little boy who died trying to rescue his father. one year ago tonight, a fire spread through the home of 12-year-old stanford havshing the iii. he escaped the flames but ran back inside to save his father. what he didn't know was that his father already jumped to safety. the 12-year-old never made it back out. >> all the times we had with stanford, good times and bad times. it's hard. >> after four surgeries, the father continues to recover. well this week is a key vote from president trump's administration team. the senate's confirmation vote is tuesday for betsy devos as education proceeds for next weekend's event will also go to the poor families. people in trenton are seeing an unusual amount of birds and what they're leaving behind is becoming a public health problem. crow most activity happening at sun up and sun down and during the day, you're left with this evidence of their huge numbers. >> yeah, the birds. >> reporter: look at this street sign, you can barely read it. the lamps are dripping with droppings and it's a good things these aren't real people, instead statues, and unwelcomed coating on their ear and nose. these new visitors in the trees are not -- >> yes, here's the good news. we have a warm-up on the way. temperatures climbing into the 50s by tuesday and 60s by wednesday. but for tonight, partly cloudy and warmer, warmer than we have been seeing the past couple of nights. be sure you look at the bottom of your screen for your local neighborhood seven day forecast. now monday, a.m. sun to p.m. clouds, tracking the rain showers as the warm front moves from the southwest to the northeast. tuesday and wednesday, can't emphasize this enough, on tuesday, widespread rain, heavy at times, so keep that in mind, i think for your early morning commute, you may have a little bit of an issue because i do expect heavier downpours early tuesday. by wednesday, scattered rain and temperatures in the 60s, live look outside again, partly cloudy skies, right now and satellite and radar image, picking up on those clouds. there was a weak disturbance that moved offshore, a weak trough. now rem nenlts in the form of clouds right now affecting us. not a big issue. all of this will start to clear through the overnight hours and start off our monday with mostly clear skies. current temperatures, trenton at 39, atlantic city, 41, vineland, 36. these temperatures are better than we saw last night. philadelphia, 37, allentown, 41, coastville at 39, and wilmington currently at 36 degrees. sunrise tomorrow morning at 7:04 a.m. neighborhoods right now for philadelphia we're seeing lots of upper 30s and low 40s. port richmond, 42 for you, congrats. along with ritenhouse, 38. chestnut, warm 36 degrees considering how cold it has been. and this is pretty impressive. while lately we've been seeing those feels like temperatures declining, now we're starting to see them climb by early tomorrow morning. 8:00 a.m., it's going to be 34 degrees, but feel like 29 at 10:00 a.m., it'll be 38, feeling like 32, and at 2:00 p.m., 45 feeling like 41 degrees. and that's all due to the fact that we do southerly and southwesterly winds. here are the high temperatures for the next couple of days. we are trending much warmer. so look at this, philadelphia, you're going to see temperatures climbing to the 50s and out of. allentown, 52 oi thursday. we go from 54 and a cold front sweeps on through and this is why after that we start to see 30s making a comeback and i do think we'll get a chance of a wintery mix there. so heads up now. hour by hour forecast, we'll get this going. and notice that those rain showers move in after midnight on tuesday. we certainly could see an issue for that morning commute. and for the afternoon so give yourself a little extra time. this clears out, but then more rain follows suit on wednesday. so coming up, i have your ten day on 10. we're going to talk about what to what part before the morning rush. the big takeaway here is leave early and expect delays if you're going to use the market frankfurt line. it's all because 30 to 40 rail cars are out of service until further trending warmer. high temperatures for the next couple of days looking really good. philadelphia, tuesday, 55, respected high, 62 on wednesday, but then we drop into the 30s behind a cold front. and president trump's controversial travel ban are hastily coming to the u.s. this after a federal judge in seattle temporarily halted the ban at an appeals court declined to reverse this ruling. the white house is appealing. jennifer johnson has the latest. >> reporter: taking advantage of a window of opportunity, travelers previously banned from entering the u.s. are happily arriving in american w. bush halted president trump's controversial travel ban. the white house appealed that decision, but lost. >> we're telling people to get here as soon as they can get here because, you know, every other day there's a new development. >> reporter: mar-a-lago saturday night, mr. trump said -- and trump tweeted cannot believe a judge would put our country in peril. if something happens, blame him. the justice department has until monday afternoon to file a response with the ninth circuit court of appeals in san francisco to get the ban reinstated. >> we're confident the president's operating within his authority as president. both under the constitution and under clear statutory law. >> reporter: many still support the president's ban. >> nobody hits muslims, we love muslims, and we just want to fix certain policies. >> reporter: white house says it will not work with congress to hammer out a less controversial travel ban. 50,000 visas that have been cancelled are now considered international last weekend, they were turned away. now after the latest court ruling, they see a window and she's trying to bring her family home. they're expected to arrive at jfk international monday. we will continue to follow the story and bring you any updates. the delaware prison guard killed during an inmate uprising will be laid to rest next weekend. lieutenant steven floyd will be held friday evening at delaware state university. a second visitation and funeral will take place saturday morning. lieutenant floyd was found dead early thursday after a hostage stand off at the james. vaughn correctional center near smyrna. in the lehigh valley, several pets died. fire crews rushed to the home on washington street just after 11:00. the homeowner managed to get out, but his pets did not. crews managed to contain the fire to the first floor. and tonight, police in new york have a suspect in custody. six months after a jogger was murdered in queens. now this is the last video of karina jogging near her home. last august, her father found her beaten, sexual assaulted, and strangled. her parents have become tireless advocates for justice in the case. police say the suspect made incriminating statements after his arrest last night. in south jersey, a street near the camden water front is getting a new name tomorrow morning. jasper street will be renamed michael doyle lane. senior doyle is the pastor there. well, exclusive new pictures of the delaware river turnpike connecter bridge show temporary columns installed by workers. a crack discovered closed the our satellite and radar image. we are seeing clouds and that's due to the fact that we had a weak disturbance moving offshore earlier and this is why we're seeing the clouds for tonight again partly cloudy skies. current temperature, 41 degrees. trenton, 39, philadelphia, 37 degrees and normal high is 42, and in philadelphia, we topped out at 43 degrees. sunrise tomorrow morning is at 7:04 a.m. temperature difference, we really like this, it is 17 degrees warmer at the same time in allentown. mt. holly, eight, and 12 degrees warmer. we'll take it and we're only trending warmer over the next couple of day us. overnight lows mainly in the upper 20s to low 30s. coatesville, 27 for you, and 29 degrees. that's your expected overnight low. your morning temperatures, notice that we tart to see a shift in the winds. they are northwesterly to westerly and southwesterly as that warm front starts to approach our area. that's exactly what we're looking for, especially as we start to climb into those 50s and 60s. so tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m., you're going to see lots of upper 20s to low 30s, philly, 32, westchester, 30, along with trenton and burlington, you're expected temperature tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. 31 degrees with still below the freezing mark. bundle up. here it is, temperatures trending, tuesday, 55, wednesday, 62, well above normal for this time of the year. and your hour by hour forecast. this is the next big weather story. we're tracking showers moving in from the southwest towards the northeast. and look, it's not until after midnight with the rain showers move in, approaching chester, delaware county, new castle county, and early tuesday morning, we may see spots of heavy downpours. models are now favoring a little bit of a break here. unorganized rain, then we see heavier pockets move in right around lunchtime, keep that in mind. another break by 5:00 p.m. so i don't expect a washout for that tuesday afternoon or evening commute. we do have some more rain moving in on wednesday and the chance of a wintery mix getting in here by thursday morning. so keep that in mind. we have a cold front that's going to sweep on through. the ten day on 10 bridges us that brief warm-up on tuesday and wednesday. and then there it is, that cold front, 36:00 degrees, a.m. mix, 37 on friday. chances of rain saturday into sunday, happy valentine's day
