Reporter jacqueline and jim, we followed this group of protesters from center city right up north broad street, here through temples campus. Skyforce10 will give you a live look of where they are now. Im told they just dispersed through city hall, right by 15th and market street. Its been a long day for police and protesters. I can also tell you that this is more than one way that they are dealing with a donald Trump Presidency. We feel like a second class citizen in this country. Reporter the rain couldnt silence the voices of protesters at Thomas Paine Plaza in center city. Several hundred people angry over the reality of a donald Trump Presidency. For temple student phillip gregory, the next few days are concerning. Im really concerned for physical violence from either side because you have very upset people. Reporter after gathering across from city hall, the group marched on north brought street to temples campus. While we saw support for democrat hillary clinton, an organizer told us she wasnt the answer either. The Trump Administration is preparing to take over the white house. The work is happening in washington and new york. Nbc10s keith jones live in our breaking news center with an update. Reporter president elect donald trump will visit the white house tomorrow to talk with president obama about the transition of power between the two administrations. Tonight, top trump advisor, senator jeff sessions, said that trumps team has reached the end of the beginning on his transition plan. They spent the day in meetings plotting the course. Campaign sources tell nbc news trump was too superstitious to talk about transition plans before he won. But now team trump is mulling over potential cabinet members. According to nbc news, mr. Trump is considering former new york mayor Rudy Giuliani for attorney general, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as a candidate for secretary of state, and rnc chairman Reince Priebus is under consideration for chief of staff. In his victory speech early this morning, president elect trump pledged to bind the countrys wounds of division. He said he wants the government to serve all americans.
