Chicago police say the man shot is a known gang member in Critical Condition tonight, while the video is shocking, shootings in chicago are increasingly not. A whopping 677 through the end of march compared to 359 shootings this time last year. The violence in these streets is blamed on gangs and illegal guns, with bullets flying, kids often finding themselves in the crossfire. One week ago tonight, 13yearold zarierl trotter was hit by a stray bullet walking home from a basketball game with friends and remains in the hospital.
