all right, it's monday morning. it's never easy to get up out of bed and out the door. let's go ahead and check on the roadways and see how everything's going. hey, jillian. >> good morning, michelle. to you at home as well. i was following an accident out of warrington, but that just cleared in the last few minutes. so, mustang road at palomino drive, that's where it was located, but that's now out of there. taking a live look at 76 right near belmont avenue. no delays, no accidents to report so far. so, we are off to a pretty good start as far as the highways go. 95, drive times pretty average, about 14 minutes is what we're seeing southbound from woodhaven to the vine right now. if you're taking mass transit, everything is on or close to schedule. and the area bridges are looking pretty good. we do have a spot of construction eastbound on the ben but no delays associated with it. rosemary? >> thanks, jillian. now to the tragedy in brooklyn and the nypd officers killed during that ambush. as people mourn the deaths of officers rafael ramos and wenjian liu, investigators are looking into whether the gunman, ismaaiyl brinsley, took part in recent police protests. detectives say brinsley told people on the street to "watch what i'm going to do" just before the shootings. on brinsley's instagram page, he wrote "they take one of ours, let's take two of theirs." he also wrote "i'm putting wings on pigs today." investigators believe that brinsley was motivated by anger toward the police following the recent grand jury decisions in ferguson and in new york. investigators say that ismaaiyl brinsley had a long rap sheet, no stranger to the law. he had at least 15 prior arrests, including a felony charge for weapons possession. police say on saturday, the 28-year-old shot his former girlfriend in baltimore, maryland, then came to new york with the intention of attacking those police officers. he later took his own life. meanwhile, philadelphia police commissioner charles ramsey is speaking out after the deadly officer shootings in new york. he was recently named the co-chair of president obama's task force on 21st-century policing. nbc 10's katy zachry is live outside of police headquarters in center city with more on what the commissioner is asking of his own officers in the wake of this deadly violence. katy? >> reporter: hi, rosemary. we talked to commissioner ramsey, and he had a lot to say about the deadly violence. he is also asking his officers here in philadelphia, while they're on the job, to be vigilant, measured and to not overreact. he tells us that's exactly how a group of officers acted in north philadelphia this weekend when a gunman showed up at a bar on cottman avenue and began firing toward police. without shooting back, officers were able to take the gunman into custody. no police officers were injured. commissioner ramsey tells us he has been concerned about the protests in recent weeks and the ripple effect they could have. >> we do have some violent people, and it doesn't take very much to have them go off. so, i was concerned that it could trigger a very negative response on the part of a very few, and here we are now with this tragedy. >> reporter: and commissioner ramsey shared with us more comments about the fallen officers in new york and we'll have more on that coming up in about a of the largest rallies yet through philadelphia. the group blackout philly began at 15th and arch with their hands in the air, then made their way around city hall. and their message is fight hate with love. men, women and young children called for a change in race relations and policing across the country. >> i think it's a good thing, because we should be talking about race relations. i think that it's a huge problem in the united states right now. >> you know what's beautiful, this is when you know america is changing, when young, white people are standing up across the world saying black lives matter. >> protesters marched for hours, making it to the steps of the art moou zeem and shutting down some city streets, but police say it was peaceful and there were no arrests. new from overnight, crews are trying to figure out what caused a fire at a halfway house in camden. flames broke out at the building along magnolia avenue around 11:30 last night. everybody made it out safely and there are no reports of any injuries. in delaware, a firefighter is recovering after he was injured in a three-alarm blaze in wilmington. the fire broke out at the valley run apartments on butternut lane around 9:30 last night. part of the property partially collapsed, and all crews were ordered out of the building. 12 families now need a place to stay. they're out of their homes. the cause of this fire is under investigation. also in new castle county, investigators looking for the cause of a deadly fire that forced dozens from their homes just days before christmas. the fire caused $1 million in damage. flames jumped from apartment to apartment. it took firefighters three hours to get this under control. 38 families who live there lost everything. the red cross is helping some of those affected. neighbors say they're also chipping in for the victims. souderton area high school will remember freshman nina flick during a vigil tonight. the 14-year-old was killed in last week's deadly rampage in montgomery county. her 17-year-old brother, anthony, a junior at the high school, was seriously injured. he is the only survivor of the attacks. police say the violence happened in three locations in montgomery county, harleysville, lansdale and souderton. members of four generations of one family were killed. the murders sparked an intense manhunt for former military veteran bradley stone. police say stone killed his ex-wife and five of her family members. police found his body two days later about a half a mile from his house in hanover township. stone had cuts on his body, but authorities have not released the cause of death. nbc 10's jesse gary is live in lansdale this morning where community crisis counselors will be available later on today to help those affected by the violence. jesse, tell us more. >> reporter: that's right. and police decided that a lot of people who are not directly affected by that violence still needed help, and that help begins at 6:00 tonight at the parks and recreation building here in lansdale. at tonight's presentation by the county victims community service program, they will detail crisis and supportive counseling services. a week ago, police say the ex-marine, bradley stone, killed six members of his ex-wife's family and wounded a seventh person. >> we just wanted to try to reach out and do something for the community as quickly as possible, to see if we can start this dialogue with victims services in an effort to begin the healing process. >> reporter: those services will be offered tonight for residents of communities that are outside this borough. it begins at 6:00. live in lansdale, montgomery county, jesse gary, nbc 10 news. a chester county man will spend life in prison for shooting and killing his longtime girlfriend. gregory twyman pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of jamica woods. prosecutors say the murder was premeditated. before the murder, twyman changed his facebook cover photo to a shotgun and his profile picture to a shotgun shell, and it was the same kind used to kill woods. he also made comments on the page that prosecutors used to show he planned that crime. a montgomery county teenager will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the stabbing death of his girlfriend last year. 18-year-old tristan stahley was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. stahley was convicted of first-degree murder for killing 17-year-old julie siller. authorities say the teen stabbed siller more than 70 times on a hiking trail in skippack. police in chester county are on the hunt for two people they say carried out a violent home invasion in west whiteland township. take a look at the two suspects. investigators say leonard bernard knocked on a 76-year-old woman's door on saturday night, pretending to be with a home health care company. he then allegedly forced his way inside, tied up the woman, stole her jewelry. he and his alleged accomplice, breanna mitchell, are facing numerous charges. now your nbc 10 first alert weather. >> all right, good idea to layer up this morning. we're seeing temperatures very cold. many spots below freezing. also might want to grab the umbrella as you head out this morning. we are starting a trend where we have the threat for showers in the forecast. not heavy rain on wednesday. so, some showers today as we head throughout the later part of today, especially afternoon into the evening hours and that threat stays with us on tuesday. it will be milder, though, temperatures into the low 50s on tuesday. cold one today, milder tuesday, then warm on wednesday, right near 60. 61 degrees. so, a wet christmas eve, not a white one. then we're going to try it out for christmas day. taking a look outdoors, we are waking up and walking out the door to some clouds and we're seeing more clouds in some spots than others. mostly cloudy right now in philadelphia, 30 degrees. winds out of the north-northwest at 7 miles per hour. temperatures across the region in the 20s in many spots. 20 in reading, 24 in west chester, below freezing in mt. holly at 31. 31 also in allentown. to the south and east we're looking at 26 in dover, 26 in atlantic city and 24 in millville. so, the first official day of the winter and it feels like winter this morning. it will feel like winter later on this afternoon. dry for now on radar, but as we widen out here, you see that moisture down to the south. this will affect our weather as we head throughout the day, especially into the afternoon to evening hours. wet today, wet tuesday and then looking for the chance for some heavy rain on christmas eve. also windy and mild, 50 degrees. by christmas day we dry it out. we bring back the sunshine, but we drop temperatures back into the 50s. 51. colder and windy on christmas day. so, highs across the area mainly in the upper 30s, the low 40s. 38 in quakertown, 39 in trenton and then parts of the south and east we're looking at temperatures in the upper 30s in dover and 40 in vineland. so, a cold day today. we're going to warm it up, though. we'll take a look at your seven-day in just a few minutes. at 10 minutes after 6:00, people are starting to get up, get out on the roads. i'm sure it's getting busy. >> let's check with nbc 10 first alert traffic reporter jillian me mele. >> it's quiet as far as incidents go. all of the accidents have cleared, so right now we're not reporting any accidents at all. so, that is a little bit of good news. checking things on 422, no delays or accidents to report here. drive times on 422 pretty average between route 29 and the interchange with 76. you can see it's about a seven to eight-minute trip right now. 76 is clear, although we are starting to see some pockets of volume, especially westbound right near city avenue, eastbound near the curve, but it's really nothing that's creating any big delays on 76 just yet. if you're traveling 95, this is where we're starting to see a slowdown. that's the southbound side right near cottman avenue. and even in this area, you'll notice we have some cones set up. this is part of that long-term construction zone that's in that area. but again, this is just the start of the delay that we are seeing on 95 as drivers make their way southbound into center city. as far as delays on the majors in delaware or new jersey, we're really not reporting any problems there. and so far, so good on mass transit. tracy? 12 minutes after 6:00 right now. we'll give you just one receiving a national award. it is 6:15. this weekend, dozens of families got to see why philadelphia is the city of brotherly love. at the wells fargo city yesterday, 5,000 families in need enjoyed carnival games and every child got a new coat and personalized gift for christmas. in less than two hours, the cherry hill mall will open for last-minute christmas shoppers, and this is just one of many stores with extended hours over the next few days. we were in cherry hill yesterday, where it took shoppers anywhere from 7 to 20 minutes just to find a parking space. then there was the foot traffic inside. >> i would, if i had like last-minute gifts, i would definitely come at night. >> midnight? >> yeah, like midnight, 1:00. if they're open 24 hours, i'd come at 1:00 in the morning, because that's when not a lot of people are there. >> not open 24 hours. cherry hill mall will be open 8:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m. today and tomorrow, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on christmas eve. you may be one of the millions of people getting a package today. u.p.s. expects today will be its busiest shipping day of the year, delivering 34 million packages, which is double the amount of a normal day. the company hired 95,000 seasonal workers to help with high holiday demand. today a pretrial hearing is scheduled in the murder case against former nfl player aaron hernandez. the hearing is expected to focus on jury issues. jury selection is scheduled to begin early next month. hernandez is facing charges in the killing of a semi-pro football player who was dating his fiancee's sister at the time of his death. that fiancee, shayana jenkins, is also due in court today, charged with perjury in the hernandez case. prosecutors say she lied to a grand jury during the investigation. her lawyers filed a motion to suppress, which means that they cannot -- they want certain evidence to be thrown out. now to a bizarre scene in tampa over the weekend. seven fans were injured after lightning struck a car outside the tampa bay buccaneers stadium. fire officials say some of those fans were knocked right to the ground, but their injuries are not serious. witnesses described it as a huge flash and said it sounded like a bomb went off. today, u.s. senator chris coons of delaware have in west africa, there to get a firsthand look at u.s. efforts to stop the spread of ebola. and this morning he'll hold a news conference from liberia. he's the first member of congress to visit liberia since the outbreak began. he'll get back to delaware tomorrow afternoon. at the jersey shore, a vote will be held tomorrow on a proposal to bring part of cumberland county college to downtown millville. according to "the press of atlantic city," this new proposal would require the city commission to approve $400,000 in spending to help build a downtown campus. this comes after a previous vote to spend $800,000 was shot down. the millville campus would be home to the college's arts program. well, the estimated 98 million americans traveling for the holidays will be enjoying lowest gas prices in five years. the national average for gas right now is $2.47, which is a 25-cent drop over two weeks ago. analysts say unless there's a major disruption in crude oil prices should stay low through the start of the new year. so, according to aaa, here are the local prices. in the five-county philly area, it's $2.69. in delaware, the average is $2.55, and the lowest, as always, in jersey, south jersey drivers paying about $2.37. at 6:18 this morning, good news on those gas prices, maybe not so much on the roads. we're going to check in now with jillian mele. >> good morning. you know, as i've been saying all morning, it's actually still pretty quiet out there. don't get me wrong, we have volume building in the normal spots, like 95 southbound out near cottman, 76 near the conshohocken curve, but checking some of your highways in new jersey, things are clear of any accidents on 295, new jersey turnpike, even the 42 freeway off to a quiet start right now. this is for chester county drivers. route 30 bypass, that's eastbound at route 282. so, we're seeing a little bit of building volume on the route 30 bypass. 202 still pretty quiet and so is 422. if you're waking up and taking mass transit, everything is on or close to schedule and we're not reporting any problems on the area bridges. now your nbc 10 first alert weather. >> all right, a good monday morning. and we're off to a cold start. we're going to be ending it cold as well before we start a warm-up over the next couple of days. that's one thing. and then we are also tracking the chance for showers today, tuesday and also wednesday. so, outside we are waking up in and walking out the door to some clouds and we'll keep the clouds in place over the next few days. 30 right now in philadelphia. we're seeing winds out of the north-northwest at 7 miles per hour. lots of 20s still on the map. 20 in reading, 26 in pottstown, 27 in mt. pocono, below freezing in mt. holly at 31, and we're looking at 20s in parts of south jersey, also delaware, 26 in dover and 24 degrees in millville. so, there's that cold start. we're also seeing reduced visibilities to the north and west of philadelphia, down to 5 miles in mt. pocono, 4 in l lancaster and 5 miles in reading. that's because we have low clouds in place, some drizzle and also some fog. so, just keep that in mind as you head out this morning. everywhere else we're looking pretty good. looking at satellite and radar, looking at dry conditions for now, but down to the south is moisture and this will affect us into the afternoon to evening hours. showers once again on tuesday. then wednesday is the day to watch with a chance for heavy rain. tricky travel on wednesday. could see over an inch of rain in some spots and winds gusting over 20 miles per hour. but for today, mostly cloudy and cold, 38 to 41. temperatures right around normal for this time of year. typically, we come in at 43. milder on tuesday. lots of clouds in place, rain likely. then otherwise, it's a cloudy day, 52. rain on wednesday. that's the day to watch, rainy and windy. mild, though, temperatures right near 60 degrees. back into the 50s on thursday. we bring back some sunshine as well. breezy on friday, 50, and then into the 40s on saturday. a little snow today as their precipitation starts out this morning and then maybe even some freezing rain overnight. temperatures, they are cold everywhere this morning. you'll want to layer up this morning. 27 in mt. pocono, 20 in reading. in the teens in lancaster. getting started at 30 in philadelphia. and temperatures mainly in the 20s to the south and east. 26 in dover and 26 in atlantic city. so, we are tracking the chance for some showers today. we'll be on the light side, very scattered as we head throughout the day. better chance for those showers into the later part of today. notice 8:00, 9:00 tonight we see some scattered showers across the area, and that threat will stay with us on tuesday and then again some heavier rain into wednesday. so, for today, by 8:00, 31 drivers head into center city. we're not reporting any accidents on 76. and in fact, your drive times are still looking pretty good. we are starting to see pockets of volume, though, on the schuylkill expressway, something we're used to seeing at 6:30 in the morning. 95 southbound is also slow from cottman down to girard. if you're taking any of the area bridges, we don't have any accidents and no delays on the bridges. however, we do have that long-term construction eastbound right now on the ben franklin bridge. the right lane is blocked, but it's not causing a slowdown there. and finally, if city. katy? >> reporter: rosemary, commissioner ramsey tells us he was concerned by the police protests in recent weeks around the country that there would be some kind of negative ripple effect stemming from that. and now there are two fallen officers in new york. >> there wasn't like a high-risk operation or something when you know that you're really putting your life at risk. i mean, just sitting in the car, maybe just looking out of the window, and then all of a sudden, someone comes up and just murders you. >> reporter: and that's commissioner ramsey reacting to the deadly police shootings in brooklyn this weekend. he is currently a leader of the president's task force on community policing. his goal over the next few months is to figure out how to improve relationships between police and those who feel disenfranchised. >> we do need to deal with a lot of very serious issues. that's why this task force that the president's put together is so important. and it won't change what we do, but it does add a sense of urgency now that we do definitely need to focus, get something to him as quickly as possible. >> reporter: and commissioner ramsey's asking his officers montgomery county are looking for two masked men armed with guns who robbed this 7-eleven. nbc 10 was there as police searched for clues at 54th and city avenue in lower merion. officers tell us the men held up the store around 12:30 this morning. one worker was hurt during the robbery. today, souderton area high school will hold a vigil for two of the victims of last week's killing spree in deduction. this is a live picture from skyforce10 where police found the abduction victim badly beaten. here's what we know. the victim was abducted several hours ago. investigators say they have one suspect in custody. it's unclear if there are more suspects in this case. nbc 10's katy zachry is now on her way to this scene. she will have more information from the ground as soon as she gets there. again, this is a picture from skyforce10 over the scene of an abduction in the olney section of philadelphia. this morning there is a new clue to report in the disappearance of shane montgomery. divers searching the schuylkill river yesterday found a set of keys belonging to the missing west chester university student. the 21-year-old disappeared early thanksgiving morning after leaving a bar on main street in manayunk. last night, st. john the baptist church in manayunk held its tree lighting in honor of shane. parishioners, family and friends dedicated the tree with green ribbons as a symbol of hope for answers in shane's disappearance. >> we are all part of shane's family now. not a blood line, but we're all part of this. it's captured us all. and there's a momentum and a solidarity, i think, that speaks to the human condition. >> earlier this month, fbi officials said that surveillance video showed shane walking toward the manayunk canal and the schuylkill river northeast extension, which is off to a pretty good start right now. so, we'll take that while we have it. checking some of your drive times on 95, you'll notice we're getting that yellow light right here. 95 southbound from woodhaven to the vine will take you about 21 minutes. the average speed is about 39 miles per hour. so, we're definitely seeing some volume building on roads like 95 and 76. 422 eastbound just starting to get little bit slow right near oaks. checking in with mass transit right now, new jersey transit, amtrak, septa regional rails, everything is on or close to schedule. and if you're taking the area bridges, we're not reporting any incidents there. rosemary? the sony cyber attack is escalating fast. the u.s. could put north korea back on the terror list, this as north korea sends a warning to the u.s. next, we'll have the new developments. and governor chris christie writes an open letter to president obama, and it's all about cuba and the new relationship with the communist country and the american fugitive living there. at 6:44, we're following breaking news for you. skyforce10 in the air, first on the scene of the scene of an abduction. police are there as well. you can see. we're told this is at 7th and shoe in olney. a live picture from skyforce10. we're told this abduction started five hours ago on cranston street in the wynnefield heights section of philadelphia. the victim is bloodied after being abducted several hours ago. there is one suspect in custody. we don't know if there are more suspects. we're trying to find out the exact condition of the person who was abductnd beaten. we'll try to get you more information before the end of the show. new jersey governor chris christie wants the president to demand the return of a convicted cop killer from cuba. joanne chesimard was convicted of killing a new jersey state trooper in 1973 but fled to cuba after escaping from prison and was granted asylum. the governor wants her returned to the states before diplomatic relations proceed. he sent a letter saying the family of her victims, like so many of those who have and continue to suffer under the castro regime deserve this basic decency before further steps toward cuba are taken by this government." today, a man who risked his life to save others during a deadly shooting in monroe county will be presented with a national heroes award. the man you see right here is ross township parks director bernard kozen. this is from the day after the shooting inside a township meeting in august of 2013. kozen helped tackle and disarm the gunman. today he will be honored by the carnegie heroes fund commission. police say the suspected gunman, rockney newell, shot and killed three people at that meeting. he is currently awaiting trial and could face the death penalty. police in bergen county are looking for suspects after someone robbed the exotic dance club used in the filming of "the sopranos." police say two men with shotguns robbed satin dolls early yesterday morning and made off with $30,000. the club stood in as the bada bing on the hbo show. a court hearing is scheduled today for the suspect in a decades-old child murder case in new york city. pedro hernandez is charged with killing 6-year-old etan patz in 1979. it wasn't until 2012 when police arrested hernandez after his family members alerted investigators that they believed hernandez was responsible for the murder. a manhattan judge has ruled that a video-taped confession can be used in court, but the judge is still weighing whether or not to allow testimony from witnesses hypnotized in the 35-year-old case. a ruling could come as early as this week. hernandez has pleaded not guilty. etan patz vanished in 1979 while walking to his bus stop in new york city. his body was never found. he was one of the first missing children to appear on a milk carton. a florida police officer and father of five is being remembered today in tarpon springs. officer charles kondek was shot, then run over while trying to serve a warrant yesterday. his suspected killer, marco antonio parilla jr., was arrested after crashing into a light pole. officer kondek's police cruiser is now parked outside of the station draped with a black band and flower. 6:47 now. the president say the united states is considering putting north korea back on its terrorism sponsor list in the wake of the cyber attacks against sony pictures. obama promised to respond proportionally to what he calls cyber vandalism. north korea has vowed to retaliate. in the meantime, the u.s. is asking china for help as the government considers how to respond to the hack. new this morning, 11 people are hurt after a driver plows into a group of pedestrians in eastern france. police say the driver was shouting "god is greatest" and witnesses told people that he said he was acting for the children of palestine. france is still reeling from a radical islamic attack on saturday. police shot a radical convert to islam after he attacked officers with a knife. and this morning we have new information about the australian woman charged in the murders of her seven children and niece. lawyers for the 37-year-old mother tried to have her case transferred to mental health court, but the judge refused. police have not said exactly how the children died. the mother is hospitalized with stab wounds to the chest. nbc's tom brokaw is reporting some good news. he says his cancer is in remission. in a note to colleagues, the veteran newsman called it "very encouraging news." brokaw announced he will soon begin a drug maintenance program after months of chemotherapy. last february, the 74-year-old revealed that he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer affecting blood cells in the bone marrow. now, your nbc 10 first alert weather. >> all right, good monday morning. i'm meteorologist michelle grossman. you might want to so, grab the umbrella as you head out the door this morning. we are waking up to some clouds this morning, depending on where you are, we're seeing more clouds in other spots. 30 right now in philadelphia. still below freezing, and many spots below freezing. many spots in the 20s. 20 in reading, even the teens in lancaster, 26 in west chester, 30 in philadelphia, 26 in atlantic city, also in dover. and we're looking at 24 degrees in millville. so, again, we're looking at cloudy skies across the area. mostly cloudy in reading, also in philadelphia and temperatures very cold this morning. we're going to keep it right around 40 later on this afternoon. close-up view of radar showing us that we are dry for now, but we are watching the stacks of moisture. it will move up and it will bring the threat for showers throughout the day, especially in the afternoon to evening hours, and that threat stays with us today. also on tuesday and then a bigger threat for rain on wednesday. so, future weather as we go throughout time. just bring the umbrella. you may need it from time to time. scattered throughout the afternoon into the evening hours. better chance for some showers on tuesday. otherwise, a cloudy day on tuesday. then wednesday, that is the day to watch. we're watching another system back to the west that will bring us some heavier rain. we could see up to an inch down. that's the westbound side. you can see crawling along right near city avenue. about 16 minutes is what we're seeing as your drive times in both directions between the blue route and the vine. the vine street expressway still pretty quiet. a little delay westbound as drivers make their way out to 76. that's pretty typical for this hour of the day. then the blue route is also still quiet, but we have some volume building right near route 1, especially on the northbound si side. for drivers in delaware this morning, no accidents to report on the majors there. checking drive times on 95 between 295 and 495, you can see about 10 and 11 minutes. that's what it's going to take you right now. still no problems to report on the area bridges and mass transit is on or close to schedule. jersey right now because we are dealing with a few problems, including volume building on the 42 freeway, the northbound side. you can see that yellow light there, so that's slowing down. southbound looks good. new jersey turnpike, no issues to report in both directions, but the northbound side of 295, we are dealing with an accident right now. it's 295 northbound right near 195. and you can see it right here. we have lane restrictions in this area, and that involves an overturned vehicle. this just happened in the last few minutes. again, 295 northbound right near 195. so, we do have traffic getting by, but it is starting to slow things down for drivers in new jersey. so, just make sure you leave yourself extra time if that's part of your commute. heading into pennsylvania, p.a. turnpike westbound right as you approach willow grove, we're dealing with a vehicle fire in that area. again, all lanes are not blocked, but we are dealing with lane restrictions there. aside from that, no other issues to report on the pennsylvania turnpike, no accidents on the majors in delaware, as we've been mentioning all morning long. it's a pretty quiet start to the morning, but we have the normal delays in the normal spots. just now things are starting to pick up in new jersey with that accident on 295. if you're taking mass transit, everything is on or close to schedule. now your nbc 10 first worries for your morning commute in terms of the weather, but down to the south we are tracking a system that will move up the coast, and that will bring us some wet weather, or at least the threat for it throughout the day. grab the umbrella as you head out. we're looking at some light stuff, and that will be the case as we head throughout the day. then by tonight, the threat for showers continues into tuesday, and wednesday we are looking at the threat for heavier showers from a different system. your seven-day forecast, for today a chance of showers, rather cloudy, 40 degrees.
