Its still out there blocking the two right lanes. You can take 295 as an alternate. Franklyn bridge, wet conditions throughout. The good news, no coaches on the bridges. But we have delays starting to form on the local highways. 95 southbound is heavy near cottman. 76, were seeing volume in the normal spots. And thats exactly whats happening on 422. Thats the eastbound side at trooper. You can just see a line of traffic right now. Drive times still indicate nothing big delays but, of course, those numbers are going to change in the next few minutes. Carlesha freelandgaither was reunited with her family. This is video we took just a few hours ago of her getting in a van at a hospital in maryland and heading back to philadelphia. If youre just waking up, theres been a lot of new developments with the story overnight. Heres whats new just in the past few hours. Carlesha returned to her home around 4 00 this morning. Her cousin spoke to us just a short time later. Well hear from her momentarily. Also, new information weve learned about the suspect in the abduction. And for the first time, were hearing the suspects father. Well get to that in just a moment. But first, carlesha and her relieved family. We sat in my kitchen, in front of me and telling me im bringing your daughter home. Im bringing your daughter home. He said, no, im bringing your daughter home. And he brought my baby home. We have in information on the investigation. We have Live Team Coverage with nbc10s jesse gary at northwest detectives. We begin in philadelphia where carlesha is home again with her family. Katy. Reporter she is, vie. Not long ago i spoke to a family spokesperson, they tell me that carlesha is home, shes resting and rejoicing with relatives inside a home on this north philadelphia block right now. The family is asking for privacy. So we are giving them that. Now, heres video of carlesha last night getting into a police van with her family member. It was several hours after fbi agents found her in maryland. She spent several hours last night at a hospital in maryland. Reported to have minor injuries after she was found. Her family tells us she is in good health. In good condition. They also have words for us about the man who kidnapped her. Hes a coward. Hes a coward. Hes a coward. It could have went a whole different route, you know. And we were afraid. Reporter and that family spokesperson went ton say carlesha is grateful to police, to the media, and the public for their unending support and the tips they called in. Now, this investigation is especially challenging because police say carlesha had no ties to her alleged abductor. Nbc10s jesse gary is live with how detectives cracked it. Shes live at northwest detectives. Reporter tracy, they had two different pieces of evidence. Both playing in a crucial role in a chain of dominos that actually fell to the arrest of suspect Delvin Barnes. First, carlesha freelandgaither being snatched off a germantown garnered national attention. County detectives in virginia recognized barnes as a suspect in a crime there, called Philadelphia Police and began tracking his cars gps. This individual is off the streets and no one else is in danger right now because we got a very dangerous predator off the streets. And it was a combined effort and a lot of different people looking very, very hard. Reporter Police Commissioner ramsey said people working hard includes the public, the viewers, who actually saw that Surveillance Video and called investigators. An update that we told you about as it was breaking yesterday morning. A father and son are now facing chashs after shots were fired in Delaware County. Police arrested lamar james and his father tony gayle. They say james fired at him. One officer was shot in the head but he was not hurt. The bullet hit him in the helmet. Another officer was shot in the hand. Both will be fine. A Delaware County football coach is facing charges that he took off after a dui crash. High school coach Joseph Gallagher was arrested. He was involved in a crash and then left and then take into custody in ridley township. Nbc10 interviewed gallagher following one of the games. Jack odonnell has been named the acting head coach of harvin Ford High School team. And rafael robb has a bigger price to pay for murdering his wife. A jury decided robb should pay 124 million to his late wifes estate. They say they want the money to go to the couples college age daughter. Robb pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. Ellen robb was beaten to death while wrapping christmas gifts. Rafael robb staged the scene to make it appear like it was a burglary. 6 07 happening today. Trentons mayor will offer a Progress Report on his 100th day in office. Mayor eric jackson will deliver a address at city hall. She is safe after police found her and her alleged kidnapper last night. And we now know that a receipt for the Grocery Store helped investigators break open the case. Police say Delvin Barnes bought fod at the supermarket hours before the kidnapping. Heres how we get back to that video. A woman later found a discarded receipt along with trash outside her home in maryland. She called police. Police used the time stamp on the receipt to go to the acme and pull the Surveillance Video. And the Police Officer sees that video, recognizes the suspect as somebody hes been looking for. Weve been making calls all night to find out whats next for the suspect. Well tell what you we find out from the live report from maryland at 6 30. And a philadelphia man is facing charges for allegedly beating dogs with bricks. This is the only photo we can show you. Police say the dogs were attacked outside the home on at 3700 block of north 19th street. 56yearold willie enic has been charged with attacking the dogs to belonged to a neighbor. They surrounded the dogs and both have healed and placed in permanent homes. Philadelphia police are looking for this man they say he held up key pizza and fishtown. He is in east york street. Goes inside, points a gun at an employee. After a worker refused to hand over the money, the man took off emptyhanded. Princeton university is taking new steps to prevent Sexual Assault and harassment on campus. The change is coming after the school was found to be somehow in violation of title 9. That federal regulation that protects students based on their sex. In response, princeton has hired a title 9 coordinator and now has new policies for investigating Sexual Assault and harassment complaints. And former running back ray rice is expected to testify at his appearing. Rice wants to be immediately reinstated to the nfl. He was shown after punching his fiancee and knocking her out. Rices wife is also expected to testify today. Thanksgiving just weeks away now expected to be a busy travel season as it is every year.
