Those children are showing no signs of ebola, but just as a precaution the schools will be closed today for a deep cleansing. We understand there is not a living disease in our school. We understand that. But, were going to use our current chemicals and added some special chemicals, as well. And just really, just really clean the entire facility from keyboards to computers. I think theyre taking the best approach. You know, communication. Making sure everybody is aware. I think by going through and cleaning the school, i think thats a good thing. Its just being precautious. And some schools in ohio are also closed for cleaning because, again, thats where amber vinson flew to on that flight. A Police Involved shooting in norristown kept a major intersection closed for hours. The scene at markley and west main streets involved police cars and a tractor trailer. If you look at the tractor trailer involved, youll see several bulletholes on the drivers side. He was airlifted to a philadelphia hospital. Witnesses at the scene tell me the truck was driving erratically going through intersections and eventually drove through a guard rail that blocked the busy side street. Police had been chasing the truck trying to stop it for some time. One person tells me the tractor trailer driver started going towards a Police Officer driving his truck towards a Police Officer who was in his cruiser and thats when shots were fired at the truck. Now, when we first got to the scene, there were several Police Cruisers at this intersection behind me underneath one of those cruisers were bullet casi casings. The Norristown Police chief was also here at this scene. He is now at the Police Department and im told interviewing several witnesses. We have some new information on the punishment for convicted killer Malik Anderson will spend the rest of his life in prison. Anderson was convicted of murdering a childhood friend. The jury decided to give him a life sentence yesterday. The victim crump was found shot to death in august of last year. His body was discovered at a construction site in northeast philadelphia. Authorities say anderson killed crump over his share of cash from a sale of a stolen video game. Crump was 19 years old. Now, three things you can count on nbc 10 to stay on top of for you today.
