Closure point because of the accident that happened down the road a ways on 95 northbound. Theres still a bit of a scene out there, but traffic is getting by. And police have lifted that closure point at exit 4. Theyre now basically making that scene a little bit smaller. So we have a photographer whos less than ten minutes away. Hes going to drive 95 and let us know exactly what he sees right near that scene of that accident. So well have more detailed information for you in the next few minutes. Ewing township there was a water main break that happened last night. Repair work is still going on on route 31 northbound just past olden avenue. All of our problems are out of new jersey this morning. Maple shade, a downed toll closing the ramp to main street its only that ramp blocked right now. Chris . Happening now, crews in northeast philadelphia are fill trying to get a handle on a water main break. This was the scene from sky 4 10 hours ago. And not much has changed since then. Water shooting about 200 feet into the air at that point. Nbc 10s Katie Zachary is live on scene for us this morning. Katie, here we are about nine hours into this water main break. And its still going. Whats going on . Reporter yeah and even i think closer to ten hours, chris, that this water has been just shooting into the air. Take a look behind me. We are off of grant avenue. And you can see really this geyserlike water shooting just from the ground as you said at the height of it shooting up to 200 feet in the air. The break is on private property. And there are Philadelphia Police here preventing us from getting any closer. Heres what we know according to the philadelphia Water Department. The line is a fire service connection. It is not a water main supplying customers. It ruptured around 7 00 last night appear i spokespersonfor the Water Department says theyre having trouble shutting off the valve. Because of the temperatures, the trees and branches around that water main break are frozen. And those freezing conditions have made it treacherous for water crews to remain out here. So they have since gone home and theyre going were told theyll be back out here when its warmer. Now, a worker was injured while he was working on this property trying to fix the problem. We are trying to get an update on his condition. I have reached out to a spokesperson for the Water Department and am awaiting an update. But at this time we have not gotten any reports that peoples water pressure in the area has been affected because of this large water main break behind me. Were going to stay on the skaen scene. New from overnight, police finished searching the property of the parents of kyle crosby the Burlington County man accused of killing his wife. Erica crosby disappeared new years eve. Kyle was arrested monday night. Prosecutors say even though they havent found a body they have enough evidence to charge him with murder. Investigators searched using flashlights during the overnight hours, and they focused on woods and a shed behind kyle crosbys parents home in camden county. Erica Crippen Crosby went missing, as we said new years eve. The department of Child Protective Services gave kyles parents custody of the couples 2yearold daughter but overnight the state agency took custody of the toddler again. I hope the baby comes into our custody. Were a loving family and i just want her home where she belongs. Kyle crosby is being held on more than 1 million bail. 5 04 now. Happening later today, u. S. Attorney general eric holder will visit philadelphia to hold a meeting on Building Community trust. This, of course comes in the wake of policerelated deaths and ensuing protests across the country. In delaware a High School Wrestling coach in kent county is charged with having sex with a student on school grounds. Richard dickey howell teaches and coaches at Caesar Rodney high school in camden. State Police Accuse the 50yearold of having sex with a 17yearold girl at least nine times on campus and several times at his home. They say the relationship started last march and ran through december. A wrestling match scheduled for last night was canceled after howell turned himself in. They need to you know do what they need to do to at least get him out of the school and away from you know children. Flames and thick smoke forced the evacuation of more than 200 inmates from the 140yearold Northumberland County prison. Officials are moving the inmates to other prisons. No one was hurt. 5 15 now. Happening later today, Penn State Trustees will start discussing a plan for the university to switch sides in a lawsuit against the ncaa. Right now penn state is a codefendant in a lawsuit brought by a state lawmaker and state treasurer, but alumni members want the school to become a plaintiff and challenge the 50 million fine and football sanctions stemming from the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. Now, most of the area is a little colder than that and its cold enough to still have some snow on the ground after yesterdays light snowfall at the shore in southern and central delaware. Just a dusting inland. Barely any in portions of gloucester county. Holding at 30 now in northeast philly and Philadelphia International<\/a>. Look at the 20s, pottstown, doylestown, trenton are in the 20s. Down to 28 at levittown and right along the Delaware River<\/a>, 28 degrees currently. A bit colder for doylestown at 26. Farther north and west kintnersville down to 25. Its not the brutal cold we saw yesterday morning. We do have another shot of cold air before things warm up over the weekend. We will see temperatures climb today. The clouds were starting off with not all that impressive. Should be thinning out as we go into this afternoon. Which would allow for the temperatures to climb into the middle to upper 30s today. We could get closer to that 37degree mark if we get a little more break in the cloud cover this afternoon. Tomorrow the wind is back. So even though the temperatures will climb into the upper 30s in the afternoon, its going to feel colder on friday. And that wind that kicks in during the afternoon friday will drive the temperatures down on saturday. Theres another cold morning. 19 degrees in the city. Lower teens in some of the suburbs. A high of just 31 degrees on saturday. Then clouds move in sunday. And the temperature will be climbing from 28 in the morning to 48 in the afternoon. With rain developing during the afternoon and staying into sunday night. Census bureau data shows there are more than 1. 7 Million People<\/a> in pennsylvania who dont get paid sick leave while more than 1. 1 million in new jersey and nearly 150,000 in delaware.
