A little bit of construction still out there. 95 near bartrum avenue. Then you head to Chester County and the roads are soaked out there. This is route 100 at routd0113. If youre waking up in the Lehigh Valley, the roads are wet there as well. Were following a fire on yerkes road. Its a tiny residential street. If any of that fire activity thats closing yerkes starts to move out to noble and washington, thats where we could have a problem. Ill keep you updated. Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire that left three people hurt. Matt delucia is live on scene. What have you learned . Reporter tracy, i just got new information. I spoke with the chief a few minutes ago. He tells me there are three injuries as a result of this fire. Three people jumped from this home here on the 900 block of yerkes alley. The injuries include one person with a shoulder wound, one with a leg injury and one other person has smoke inhalation. They were all taken to the hospital. This happened just before 3 30 this morning. As you can see here, these are row homes. The fire im told started on the first floor of that center home and spread to the second floor. There was smoke damage we understand to the Neighboring Properties here. Firefighters did have to break some the windows. We saw firefighters on the roof not long ago. Just within the past couple of minutes we see that the ladder trucks, theyre starting to remove the ladder from the roof top here. Theyre starting to clean up the scene. As you can tell, the fire is out. It has been for 30 minutes now. There is no cause at this point. That is still under investigation. But we did have light rain out here within the past 30 minutes and the folks who lived in the properties here, we have six of the homes that are in this unit. We saw some people down the alleyway not long ago. They were standing around, watching and waiting. Im told for the time being theyre not going to be allowed back into the homes, clearly that middle property because of the damage sustained from this fire. This is a small street, an alleyway here. The fire stucks have taken up much of the street sat the moment. This is right by noble street and west washington. So, again, very small residential area. It does appear they are starting to clean up the scene here. Trying to get a move on here to get away from this area. Of course this spot right here is going to be under investigation for quite some time. As i mentioned, i just did talk with the fire chief of norristown fire department. A News Conference will be held today as the investigation into the death of Robin Williams continues. The beloved actor and comedian is believed to have committed suicide at his home. He was born in chicago and studied at juilliard. He was a beloved performer who excelled as a comedian an actor on both stage and screen. The actor had recently been battling severe depression. He leaves behind a wife and three grown children. Williams was found dead at his home in Northern California monday from an apparent suicide. The sheriffs Coroners Division says it expects the death was due to asphyxia. The cause of death is still under investigation. Good morning, vietnam this is not a test. This is rock n roll. Williams is a versatile actor who first starred as a wacky alien in the tv showc morning and mindy before turning to films. He voiced the genie in aladdin. He could play serious roles, such as got good will hunting for which he won an oscar. Mementos like a miniature oscar there were left on the star. Nbc 10s jesse gary is live in Atlantic City. Jesse, tell us what happened. Reporter investigators are still trying to piece that together, vai. They done have the suspects in either one of the shootings. These crimes took place about 30 minutes apart. Lets take a look at our first video. This is the intersection of arctic and kentucky. An apartment complex. Investigators say three victims were found shot around 12 30 this morning. Two of the victims shot in the lower abdomen. The second scene is at maryland near magellan. Also in Atlantic City. This took place about a half hour after the first. One male victim shot multiple times. The victim is in his 20s. No condition update on him or the other vekts that were shot. Clouds over northeast philadelphia in Atlantic City. Look at allentown, the rain is already coming down. This is the view from the allentown area. Airport road is getting some rain already. And that is not alone. Rainy start to this tuesday and its going to be on and off rain this morning. Storms this afternoon. The clouds extend to the shore right now. Cape may has seen a few scattered light rain showers. Scattered showers in delaware and south jersey. But the steadier rainfall is to the west. The brighter clouds in western pennsylvania, thats thunderstorm activity. Its this line of storms thats likely to be pushing into the area this afternoon. Before the storms get here, well likely get breaks in the rainfall. Right now, look at the rain from philadelphia into montgomery, bucks county, Lancaster County is seeing some of the steadier rainfall and into berks county this cmorning. Chance of Severe Weather extends into the Lehigh Valley. Portions of montgomery, portions of Delaware County getting close to philadelphia and south jersey and delaware are under the severe storm threat later today. I cant rule it out. Storms in southern and central delaware, inching into the south jersey area. Cape may may be seeing some heavy downpours late this afternoon. Com new this morning, investigators are looking into what caused the power to go out at moreys peer, trapping people on more than a dozen rides. A spokesperson says the power went out to half of the peer about an hour before that. The rides were evacuated. Nbc 10 viewer sent us this video of one of the rides that got stuck. You see the chaotic moments as people were freed from the noreaster roller coaster. The lights were on at some of the rides but not others. We talked to an official who told us about the evacuation process. They methodically go through the most important rides where people are stuck in the highest positions and things like that and bring them down little by little until everything is unstuck. Everyone got off the rides safely. Now from our south jersey bureau, police are warning a neighborhood in Burlington County to be on alert. There have been five burglaries on at fluent side of moorestown during the last couple of months. The most recent happened over the weekend on albury court. Burglars took more than 200,000 worth of jewelry by ripping out the bedroom safe. The alarm was not set, they think the back door may have been open. Someone broke into our home, someone was in our bedroom, bathro bathroom. Two lanes at a pennsylvania turnpike toll plaza in bristol, bucks county are still closed for repairs this morning. After a car accident, skyforce 10 was over the car that slammed into a toll booth at the Delaware River bridge toll plaza yesterday afternoon. No one was in the booth but the driver was taken to the hospital. Traffic was blocked from going into new jersey for more than three hours. Well keep checking to see if the toll lanes will be and when theyll be open. And were trying to find out the condition of a septa worker who was hit by a train on the market frankford line. This happened yesterday afternoon at 22nd and market. The man was working on a trolley tunnel project when he was hit by the train. Service was stopped for several hours. The accident is still under investigation. Autopsy results show kevin ward jr. Died of Blunt Force Trauma when he was hit by a car driven by nascar star tony stewart. The 20yearold driver was competing in ac dirt track rac in upstate new york within he got out of his car and walked on the track to confront stewart. Stewarts car ran into ward killing him. The sheriff in charge says theres no timetable to completion the investigation. Nothing so far supports criminal conduct or probable cause. Stuck 20 stories up outside a new york city highrise. Two workers had to be rescued after the scaffolding they were on wouldnt move up or down. Firefighters pulled them through a window. The scaffolding had been tested recently and did not have a history of problems. Drivers are caught off guard by the rising water. This is yesterday afternoon. Crews pulled that driver to safety. Forecasters say the storm dumped more than 5 inches of rain on the area. Were following the developing story of the Ebola Outbreak in west africa. The u. S. Government is sending liberia an xparmtal drug to treat doctors. Two americans an a spaniard have received the drug. The drugs maker says it has a limited supply so its unclear how many doses will good to liberia. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization now says more than 1,000 people have been killed by ebola. And a new cool could help determine when a student athlete has healed through healed enough from a concussion to get back on to the playing field. A 12yearold Soccer Player underwent a baseline balance test. He balances on two feet and one leg. Finally with one foot in front of the other. In the event he suffers a head injury, this test can be done again and compared to the original result. Experts say thats important because a second injury could cause deadly swelling in the brain. Symptoms of a concussion could take 24 to 72 hours to fully develop. Thats why we dont want to miss these things. Studies show the balance test was 92 accurate in predicting concussions. The federal government is getting a digital upgrade. The white house has hired a team of digital experts. But this morning what we have is some steady rain in some of the northern and western suburbs. South jersey, watching for scattered light showers. Thats the view from camden this morning. The radar view shows wet weather in delaware, cape may, cumberland county. North and west has seen the steadiest and somewhat heavier rainfall. Moderate rain moving through the reading airy. Thats just moved to the north out of Lancaster County. Philadelphia weve seen a few sprinkles now moving into northeast philadelphia. Steadier, heavier rainfall this afte oon. 72 degrees in holding. Its in the upper 60s in pottstown with rain, allentown at 69 degrees and 73 in wildwood.
