Reporter christine, were going to show you the cars that are here outside the home. They are two Police Officers on guard, letting you know that this investigation is far from over. Two things police are going to be looking at along with fire investigators, and that is, one, was her fire apparatus working properly . Were the safety Alert Systems working properly . The other thing the Fire Marshals Office will be looking at is trying to determine what caused the blaze here in the basement of this West Oak Lane home. Looking at our video, fire commissioner Derrick Sawyer told us his men and women are heartbroken over the loss of 36yearold joyce craiglewis. Commissioner sawyer also told us the 11year veteran was one of three firefighters to enter the basement of the West Oak Lane home. When firefighters were ordered outside, they noticed she did not retreat. The mother of a teen son and toddler daughter was found unconscious inside the basement. We spoke to her colleague. Didnt want to let gender get in the way of anything. She wanted to prove the point. I knew that she was a firefighters firefighter. Like i said, she started out at engine 9, which is a pretty decent company, and wanted to learn her craft and asked to be transferred to a busier company. She spent time at that company learning her craft and doing a great job. Reporter craiglewis was 1 of 150 women in the fire department, the nations first organized fire department. Our camera captured people gathered for a prayer vigil last night outside engine 64 in lawncrest, where she was assigned. A source close to the negotiations tells nbc 10 that revel did everything it could to try to close the deal. The casino wants to set up a Court Hearing to accept a bid by a florida developer whos still interested in buying the property. Well, new jersey may go small with its next generation of casinos. Tomorrow, state lawmakers will debate a bill that would let developers build new boutiquestyle casinohotels. Part of the measure would allow casinos to be placed in existing buildings. Prosecutors have agreed to drop at attempted murder charges against ebony wilkerson. Rescuers had to pull her children, ages 3, 9 and 10, from that sinking vehicle back in march. Wilkerson will plead not guilty by reason of insanity to child abuse charges. U. S. Embassies are bracing for potential antiamerican protests following the release of a Senate Report on the cias interrogation techniques. That report found that cia interrogations of terror suspects after 9 11 went far beyond legal boundaries. Tactics included sleep deprivation, water boarding and confinement to small boxes. The report says that amounted to torture. The report also says information obtained using those tactics didnt even play a key role in finding osama bin laden. President obama spoke to telemundo about the report. Some of these techniques that were described were not only wrong but also counterproductive. Now, the cia says this report released tuesday tells just part of the story. The agency adds that there are too many flaws for the report to stand as the official record of the program. Today on capitol hill, the house select money on benghazi will hold its second hearing. This session will focus on improving the safety of u. S. Diplomatic personnel in facilities around the world. The first hearing in september was held to investigate the attack on the u. S. Consulate in benghazi, libya, two years ago when an ambassador and three others were killed. On capitol hill, there is a deal on the table to keep the federal government running. Last night, lawmakers agreed on a 1. 1 trillion spending bill that would prevent a government shutdown. The deal will allow just about all federal agencies to run as usual through next september. Both the house and senate are expected to adopt the measure. The government technically will run out of money tonight at midnight. Now, the only agency not covered by the spending deal would be the department of homeland security. Funding for that agency will run out on february 27th. Republicans are expected to use the deadline to force president obama to reverse his executive action on immigration. That executive action prevents about 4 million undocumented immigrants from being deported. Authorities say a Montgomery County couple used ebay to falsely advertise the sale of some highend items and then steal more than 185,000 from shoppers online. Police arrested win coat residents Corrine Cameron and alicia brown, charging them with wire and mail fraud. Investigators say they set up phony ebay accounts and offered everything from bmws to rolex watches that they actually didnt own. Overnight tonight, though, the temperatures will drop down a bit more. Well be dry at 11 00, but by tomorrow morning, theres a better chance of some scattered snow showers off to the north and west. So, how much snow are we looking at . Well, the pocono mountains by 4 00 this afternoon, an inch of snow on the ground. Those snow showers coming to the south. First rain showers, pottstown by 8 00 tomorrow morning could see an inch of snow on some of the grassy surfaces, while 2 inches in the pocono mountains. Its going to fall short of philadelphia, but the pocono mountains by late thursday evening could see 4 inches of snow. So, for today, to start with, at least, no need to deal with any rain or snow. The temperatures are in the 40s. Clouds break, well see a bit of sunshine before showers return this afternoon. During the evening hours well see that colder air take shape.
