Protesters took to the streets across the country follow that grand jury decision not to indict a Police Officer in the shooting death of Michael Brown. Protesters pelted officers with boughtals and even set a Police Cruiser on fire. Others broke windows and vandalized cars. At least a dozen buildings were set on fire. You see one of them there. People say they heard hundreds of gunshots. Officers in riot gear used tear gas to try to disperse some of the crowds and here is a live picture. This is live in ferguson. You can still see that building engulfed. The gunfire thats erupted all night long in the area has prevented fire crews from fighting those flames and others. This is one of several buildings that were apparently set on fire in the wake of the protests. This looks like some type of Auto Parts Store or perhaps a gas station. You can see the firefighters are putting some water on it now, but in some of these cases with the fires, the firefighters said they didnt feel safe responding because there were gunshots. They felt like they were being shot at in some places. A lot of buildings just burning in ferguson. A tough sign for the community because that right there represents someones job, someones livelihood and were seeing scenes like this. Smoke and flames poured from the building on west wyoming avenue yesterday afternoon. Several people were able to make it out safely, but the 4yearold boy did not. 18 people are displaced and the cause of the fire is under investigation. But its what is behind these clouds, the rain hugging the coastline and the heavier showers to the south.
