Here is what police say. The burglars had to smash through a counter to get to the handgun. They stood on it and jumped. They grabbed 18 handguns and revolvers in there. They tried for bigger rifles but those would not come loose. 18 guns in the hands of somebody who shouldnt have them. Reporter there are federal atf agents helping. This morning a 5,000 reward is being offered to help find man who robbed a popular local restaurant. Thats not first time this has happened. This is a file video of another theft in october. The suspect was headed toward bermont road. These armed customers held up a bar. This is the play maker bar on north 28th street. The men barged in early Tuesday Morning and demanded money. One had a gun. They took cash from the register and the customers before running off. These two women robbed a Beauty Supply store. This video was taken on South Columbus boulevard Tuesday Morning. The employee tried to stop them. She was sprayed with pepper spray. She was not hurt. Police are searching for these two men who robbed a seafood restaurant. This happened early Tuesday Morning inside roys lounge. You can see the men there were armed with handguns and their faces were covered. They took a workers cell phone and more than 300 in cash. You can see as we go through the afternoon its mostly delaware and extreme south jersey thats going to be seeing this. Its going to take a while to clear out but once it does weve got some pretty good news for the forecast as we head toward the Holiday Weekend. Its kind of chilly out there. Its not going to warm up a whole lot either especially in delaware and south jersey where temperatures are in the 50s and its pretty much going to stay in the 50s through the afternoon. Rain especially to the south as we go through the afternoon perhaps getting heavier by mid afternoon in some areas and temperatures struggling to get above 60 degrees. We have much warmer weather in the seven day as we go through the memorial day weekend and the next shots of rain coming up in a few minutes. Some people are getting a jump on their holiday travel. This is indicative of the folks we have seen probably about a dozen who have stopped here telling us they are going down the shore. Its early in the day and the rain has been falling. One beach goer is heading to wild wood to prepare for family weekend. Make the bed, clean up and everything like that. Travel Association Says more than 37 Million People will travel 50 miles or more this Holiday Weekend. Some drivers heading to parts of the jersey shore for the memorial day weekend will have to deal with traffic headache. The heavily traveled bridge will be closed as views make repairs there. Head inland and take route 9, which is also called shore road and go around townsend inlet. Police are looking for a man who shot a man and left him in the middle of the street. A drunk driver who then ran over the shooting victim who later died. Nbc 10 was on the scene where police picked up about a dozen shell casings. The evidence was within inches of the victim indicating he was shot at close range. The man then collapsed on the street and one over by an elderly elderly driver. Police tell us they found cocaine and a gun on the shooting victim. Two men are recovering from injuries after being shot in hunting park section overnight. Nbc 10 was on the scene where the victims were both shot in the legs around 12 30 this morning. They are expected to be okay. So far police have not made any arrests. At least three homes were hit by a spray of bullets in the citys feltonville section. This happened around 3 00 in the morning. No one in homes were hurt but a man outside was shot four times in the legs. Theres no arrest in the shooting either. Police are looking for the person who shot man in norristown. No word on his condition or what led to the shooting. Police found eight shell casings at the scene. Take a look at this video we shot overnight. This crash caused some problems. Fire crews tell us the driver lost control near remmington road and crashed into a utility pole. The driver and the passenger were able to get out safely. Both lanes of lancaster avenue was closed for a few hours but they are back open again. A big break in the case of a murder mystery in an upscale neighborhood. Authorities believe the fire was set on purpose. More cleanup workers are expected to arrive today at a popular california beach thats covered with tar following an oil spill. A broken pipeline tuesday spilled more than 100,000 gallons of oil on to the sand and into the ocean near santa barbara. The pipeline ruptured tuesday night. The company says its taking full responsibility for the clean and spill up. The coast guard says two oil slicks stretch more than nine miles. No word yet on what caused the pipeline to break. We interviewed customers and asked whether they had training on how to use computers for the internet and those with training were much more likely to be engaged. The Training Resources are key. The government has a vested interest. Tell us what theyve done because they stepped in. The government over the past couple of years have done several things to encourage broadband adoption. This need for Training Resources remain very real was a people have not used the internet really need to have some coaching to have the light go on so they understand the internet is useful to them. Comcast is the Parent Company of nbc 10. Brett, tell us what comcast has learned about the Digital Divide since launching internet essentials. A couple of things. A sustained Community Wide effort is really key in this. We focused on Community Partner who is live around and work with folks who havent had exposure to the internet. About two hours from now the coast guard and other agencies will give an update on the oil spill in california. Reporter the u. S. Coast guard says the oil stretches about nine miles. As much as 105,000 gallons of oil may have spilled. On wednesday governor jerry brown declared a state of emergency to free up resources to respond to the bill. Thisk district and state attorney general are investigating the pipeline spilled for criminal prosecution. This comes as the l. A. Times report that all american pipeline, the Texas Based Company has accumulated 175 safety and maintenance infractions since 2006 more than three times the national average. None of the past incidents resulted in injuries but the Pipeline Company settled with the epa in 2010 for a series of leaks in the midwest. The state department of fish and wildlife closed fish and shellfish harvesting for a mile. The care and safety of everyone affected remains our top priority in our response.
