radar shot fairly organized, moving to the east of pittsburgh. this will continue to track towards us as we head into the rest of your afternoon and into your evening. first alert weather day, that's for the possibility of severe storms damaging wind and hail and heavy rain could be embedded in some of these severe thunderstorms. as we go through the rest of your late morning and early afternoon, this is how it progresses. by 1:00, 2:00 the first thing you notice is our temperatures are going to warm up. we're going to see warmer air coming up from the south. close to 70 degrees by 3:00 p.m. that's when some of the light rain will start to move through. and then as we head into the rest of the evening hours, closer to 4:00 5:00 it looks like our best chance to see some severe storms is going to be closer to cape may in the central and southern parts of delaware. by 6:00 p.m. still dealing with the possibility of a few heavy downpours and isolated thunderstorms. so you want to be very careful as you are heading home from work. after 8:00 p.m. we should be pretty much done with all of the thunderstorm activity. our severe outlook shows our entire area could see a chance of thunderstorms but the best areas to see a slight risk of severe thunderstorms is mainly situated to the south of southern delaware. what that means with severe thunderstorms is we could see wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour. the possibility of hail and heavy downpours. right now, temperatures in the 40s, 44 degree in philadelphia. 42 in pottstown. 44 in allentown. 41 in mount pocono. the next couple of hours, we are going to drastically see our temperatures warming up. by 1:00 p.m. we could be close to 60 degrees, wind speeds out of the south, southwest at 12 miles per hour. we'll see a break from the rain for philadelphia around 4:00. 68. as we head to the evening and afternoon hours, by 7:00 p.m. we're going to see a better chance of a threat of thunderstorms for philadelphia and especially points to the central and southern areas of delaware and closer to cape may and atlantic city. 69 degrees will be our high today in philadelphia. so much warmer than what we saw yesterday. i'll be tracking the storms to let you know how long the threat will last and what to expect as we head into the weekend. >> we'll see you then brittney. back to the deadly storms and tornado in illinois as most people were trying to get away storm chases were racing towards the tornado to get video. take a look. >> there goes cars. i saw headlights go flying. >> you can hear the stress in their voices as they watch the tornado passing over a road. they continue to roll as the winds knocked over a tractor trailer. you see it there. the storm is blamed for one death in the town of fairdale. nbc's mike bettis shows us what it looks like there this morning. >> reporter: the day after showing a lot of light on the tornado that swept through northern illinois in the town of fairdale, a town of roughly 200 people. and every single building in town just seven square blocks was damaged. one of the more interesting things we found was this cinder block wall pushed to the west here it has been torn right off the mortar foundation here. this building, by the way, behind us an apartment up above and more of the storage units down below. most of the roof structure has been taken off. you can see right down into it. now, the city is still cordndoned off. they're still doing search and rescue, ongoing at this time. we know 11 people have been injured and treated for their injuries. one fatality here in fairdale one 65-year-old woman who perished in her home. we know the national weather service will be on hand to determine the strength of this tornado, could have been multiple tornadoes as well. we'll have a few crews out here today. they'll assess the path's length, the width and wind speed based on damage. but extensive damage with this. this is just the outskirts of town homes have been wiped off their foundation into town. we see some of the aerial pictures and truly a heart breaking scene in this rural tight knit community of just 200 people. bureau manager fired or not. harry hairston has covered the chaos in colwyn for months now. harry, sort this all out for us. >> reporter: the chaos kins here in colwyn. just moments ago, detectives from the district attorney's office here in delaware county came through the borough and removed boxes of documents, boxes filled with financial records. as you might remember we first started reporting that the d.a.'s office has been investigating the borough and some council members told us they have even testified before a grand jury. now, last night there was a power play a power play went down late last night and we were here to cover it. some council members, they voted to firefighter manager. she says she's refusing to leave. look behind me that door is where she locked herself in last night, refusing to come out and spent the entire night. hours ago, i talked to her this morning. you're saying that that was illegal, that you are still the borough manager. >> absolutely i am. >> reporter: paula brown let us into borough hall this morning while she organized documents she says she'll turn over to the district attorney for safekeeping. >> i have to protect the records here. i have to protect the finances. >> why don't you shut up and -- >> reporter: things got heated last night as four council members voted to fire brown. >> no, no, no! >> reporter: that vote came after council president paul muser says he ajournddjourned the meeting. >> i'm council president because i -- we made a motion to adjourn and what they did was illegal. >> reporter: the person making the motions, brown and fred lasher who says he's the new council president. >> we got rid of a -- basically a faction on council that was causing a lot of trouble. >> did you get me a straw? >> reporter: brown says she plans to keep working. >> i am boxing up files for the district attorney right now. and then i'm going to pay some bills because the council did vote to pass the bills last night. >> reporter: it is still not clear if the vote to fire brown was legal or not. brown says she'll stay inside this borough hall doing business out of the window if she has to until the solicitor or the district attorney tells her she has to leave. reporting live for the investigators in colwyn harry hairston, nbc 10 news. >> you deserve a nap. you worked that story around the clock. see you this afternoon. fire officials aren't saying much about a carbon monoxide leak inside a philadelphia home that sent one person to the hospital. philadelphia gas works was on the scene assessing the air quality near the home along waterloo street in north philadelphia. but fire officials tell nbc 10 it is not a pgw issue. neighbors think a basement generator is to blame. one neighbor told us she saw the homeowner react. >> he was outside, maybe figuring out where everything was before he went into the house. >> no other homes in the area are affected. we'll update with you information once it is available. and this morning, the fire marshal is looking for the cause of a fire that raced through a house in cheltenham. the fire caused heavy damage to this house on wister drive. they believe it may have started in the kitchen. fire crews had to break into windows to put the flames out. a woman inside the home heard the smoke alarm and made it out safely. no one else was hurt. five people escaped the house fire in philadelphia's frankfurt section around 1:30 this morning on bridge street. crews say the fire started in the kitchen and then spread to the second floor of the home. one firefighter is recovering from minor injuries and is expected to be okay. however, no word on what started that fire. new from overnight, no reports of anyone hurt from a dumpster fire at this high rise apartment building. nbc 10 was at 39th and walnut in university city. fire officials say flames from the first floor dumpster sent smoke to the upper floors through a trash chute. investigators will be looking for the cause of that fire. robbed at gunpoint. police are looking for the two men they say robbed a man overnight while he was leaving a parking garage. this all happened near fifth and pine streets in center city. the man was not injured but the suspect got away with his iphone and his wallet. a woman managed to walk away unharmed from this crash in fair monte park along kelly drive overnight. the woman lost control and flipped that -- her vehicle over. and in burlington county two people went to the hospital after a hazmat situation at an apartment complex. this happened last night at the edgewater manor apartments in edgewater park. investigators say the victims were exposed to some type of chemical. officials evacuated eight apartments total. this morning we are working to find out the conditions of those victims. philadelphia police are looking for the man they say robbed a university city bank in a top hat. investigators say the man went to td bank on 37th and walnut just after 7:00 and handed a teller a note demanding money. we were there last night while cruise searched for crews on the scene. the suspect was able to get away with more than $400. and now to the race for philadelphia mayor. the six democrats laid out their visions for the city's future during a candidate forum last night. the community college of philadelphia in spring garden. the forum focused on education, job development and affordable housing. the candidates will meet at two more forums today. one under way right now at the cast iron building on arch street. started about 40 minutes ago. the other is at 7:30 tonight at fox chase elementary school on ron street. and voters will go to the polls on tuesday, may 19th, for the primaries in philadelphia and then on tuesday, november 3rd, voters will choose the next mayor of philadelphia in a general election. there is only one republican candidate, so no primary for the republicans. new video is leased in the shooting death of an unarmed black man by a south carolina police officer. hear what that south jersey native's mom is saying about the incident that led to so much outrage nationwide. plus waiting for word new details about when former first lady and secretary of state hillary clinton will finally make the official announcement that she's running for president. brittney? >> already a dreary start to your friday. i'm tracking the possibility of severe storms as you head into the afternoon. and your weekend forecast you'll like it that's all coming up right after the break. to that deadly police shooting in south carolina. new dash cam video shows the start of the encounter between a white police officer and the african-american driver he's accused of murdering. look at this video. this is from the patrol car of former north charleston police officer michael slager. slager, who grew up in burlington county pulled over scott for a faulty taillight. in the video you hear slager ask scott for license and registration as they typically do. scott said he didn't have the paperwork because he was in the process of buying the car. slager walked back to his car to check the license. scott suddenly bolted from the car. and that's when slager ran after him. moments later, the cell phone video picks up from there, catching slager firing eight shots that killed scott. slager's mother expressed sorrow for the victim's family. >> as one mother to another mother i can understand this. so i just -- i just want them to know i'm sorry that this happened. and that -- that this has made a change in everybody's life. >> michael slager said he opened fire because scott had taken his taser and he had feared for his life. though the video does not show scott taking that taser. north charleston police fired him after the cell phone video surfaced. and police in maryland say a man kidnapped his wife and shot and killed a guard at the u.s. census bureau building. police say the man drove to the headquarters in maryland. and the guard started arguing with someone in the car, so the guard approached. and investigators say the man opened fire shooting the guard and then took off. sparking a police chase that led to a shootout. police hit the man several times. not clear how bad he's hurt. three police officers are also hurt. they're all expected to be okay. and the man's wife was not hurt. police in maryland are searching for a gunman who shot an officer there. the shooting happened early this morning near a convenience store in arnold. police say the officer was responding to reports of a suspicious person. both the officer and the suspect ran away from the store and then witnesses say they heard gunshots. the officer is listed in critical condition. to decision 2016 now. former secretary of state and first lady hillary clinton is expected to announce her presidential campaign on sunday. sources say clinton will first announce her presidential bid with an online video. and then she'll make stops in voting states -- key voting stops like iowa and new hampshire. clinton will be first democrat to announce her campaign. republican candidate rand paul announced his candidacy earlier this week. and this morning, there is word that president obama spoke with cuban president raul castro ahead of an expected encounter at a summit in panama. the two leaders spoke by phone last night, but the white house has declined to comment on what they discussed. it is only the second known conversation between the leaders of the u.s. and cuba in more than 50 years. mr. obama and castro both arrived in panama city yesterday with the summit of the americas. they aren't expected to formally meet, but could interact on the sidelines of the summit. now, your nbc 10 first alert weather with meteorologist brittney shipp. >> good morning. as we head into the rest of today, want to be careful, it is a first alert day for the possibility of severe storms as we head into your afternoon and into your evening. that could affect your evening commute. you want to take it easy out there on the roads. already seeing light rain and slick roads out there and also tracking a big warmup as we head into the afternoon. temperatures yesterday in the 40s. now as we head into the rest of day, most locations push into the 70s. 30 degree warmup in one day. here are the details on your first alert. we're expecting afternoon and evening thunderstorms, that could lead to strong gusty winds. and the possibility of hail. closer look outside now, you can see it is a dreary friday as we end this workweek for philadelphia. 44 degrees mostly cloudy skies, not dealing with rainfall now at the philadelphia airport. but windchill at 42 degrees, air is calm. wind speeds picking up as well as we head into the afternoon. they'll stay out of the southwest. that will be warmer air moving in for us warming up our temperatures. closer look here at our radar shot shows the line of thunderstorms that is going to continue to move closer to us as we head into the rest of your late morning and afternoon hours. so it is still outside of harrisburg at this time. if we show you a closer look at future weather, it shows how close the moisture is going to come and when it will get here. closer to 3:00 p.m., when we're going to start to deal with light to moderate rainfall and look at our temperatures by 3:00 p.m., close to 70 degrees. we are going to have enough heat to fuel some of these thunderstorms and as we continue to progress 4:00 5:00 severe thunderstorm chances. and even as we head into 6:00 7:00, we still are dealing with the chance of showers throughout the philadelphia area stretching into mount holly and parts of trenton. closer to 8:00 9:00 we should be pretty much done with this system. and we'll start to see more clearing and that's going to lead to plenty of sunshine for the weekend. we're still dealing with foggy conditions. look at the poconos, visibility down to zero. down to one mile in allentown. mile and 3/4 in pottstown. mile and a half in reading. same thing in philadelphia close to one mile visibility down to two miles in wilmington. and less than a mile in mount holly. this is a closer look at what you can kind of make out, the aramark building, you can barely see, that's how foggy it is. also, our temperatures are cold. it is only 45 degrees in northeast philadelphia. 44 in philly. 43 in pottstown. 44 in allentown. closer to 50 in atlantic city and millville. you can see some of that warm air starting to work its way up from the south. today we'll see our temperatures ranging between 68 and 79 degrees. much warmer than what we saw yesterday, even a few locations could push into the 80s. we're tracking the possibility of showers and even thunderstorms as we head into the afternoon and our wind speeds will stay out of the southwest, 10 to 20 miles per hour. your seven-day forecast shows our temperatures won't be quite as warm as what we're going to see today as we push into tomorrow. but the good news is plenty of sunshine windy conditions and then if you look at sunday same thing, plenty of sunshine temperatures above average at 67. heading into next week we track more warmer weather. monday looks great, 70 with nice conditions expected. >> thank you brittney. you can make phone calls when paired with an iphone. prices start at 349 bucks. once again, the faa is giving amazon the green light to test drones to deliver packages. they approved prototype last month. the company says the process took so long that the device -- that the device is already obsolete. amazon wants to use drones to deliver items within ten miles of its warehouses which would require them to fly autonomously using sensors to avoid collision with other aircraft. and you're looking live now at citizens bank park where the phillies take on the washington nationals tonight, beginning of a weekend series. it is where you'll need to bring plenty of cash if you want to see the phillies this evening or anytime this year. a new report is out on what families pay at major league baseball games. it is based on four tickets, food drinks souvenirs and parking. based on that a family of four will shell out more than $250 to see a phillies game this season. that's up more than 1.5% from last season. citizens bank park is the fourth priciest stadium had behind boston's fenway park new york's yankee stadium and chicago's wrigley field. and stormy weather is heading our way and it has the potential to be severe. here is a live look at the radar. you see the line of storms to our west moving eastward towards our direction. brittney will break down the timing of it all straight ahead. no secret here getting tougher to be a phillies fan these days. we're not just talking about wins and losses. why it is going to cost you more. this is nbc 10 news first alert weather. >> and this friday is cool and damp out there. and cloudy as well. warmer and stormy weather is in our very near future. live look at the skyline of center city, philadelphia. you can barely make it out there. here is a line of thunderstorms we're talking about as we take a live look at the radar right now. we issued a first alert for today because of the potential for severe weather. nbc 10 first alert meteorologist brittney shipp is here with the forecast. >> good morning. we're seeing light rain right now, and foggy conditions but as we head into the rest of the afternoon and evening, right over your evening commute, we could see most of this moisture right over us and also the possibility of thunderstorms which could produce really strong wind speeds and also the possibility of hail. so that's why we have a first alert issued for today, for severe storms damaging wind and also hail and the possibility of heavy rain. so here is how it is going to progress. you see the line of thunderstorms getting closer to us as we head into the rest of the afternoon. closer to 3:00 p.m. starting off with light to moderate rainfall. we could see thunderstorms embedded closer to 3:00. for 5:00, you'll notice this is where we see our best chance for severe storms and that's going to be closer to the central and southern parts of delaware even stretching up to parts of cape may county and just to the south of atlantic city. as we progress the model more by 6:00 7:00 still dealing with the threat of showers and even the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. just want to be careful, because this is all happening right over your evening commute time. so you want to take it easy as you head home from work and head out tonight for dinner. temperatures on the cold side we'll continue to see warmer air coming up from the south, so you'll notice closer to millville, atlantic city, already in the 50s. 52 degrees in dover. a big difference here in wilmington temperatures just hit 45 degrees. 44 in philadelphia. 43 in pottstown. low 40s in allentown. 41 in the poconos. as we head into the next couple of hours, we're really going to see our temperatures warming up. 60 degrees by 1:00 p.m. by 4:00 p.m. 68. wind speeds out of the south, southwest at 16 miles per hour. as we head to the afternoon, the threat for thunderstorm activity is better. 69 by 7:00 p.m. with wind speeds out of the west at 14 miles per hour. our entire area could see a chance of thunderstorms, but, again, the best chance for severe thunderstorms is to the south of southern delaware. i'll go over your weekend forecast when i see you again in a bit. >> the national weather service teams will be in illinois today to assess damage after a deadly tonight touched down there last night. at least one person is dead and many more injured after this. tornadoes ripping through the rural fields of northern illinois. we're getting more and more video into our newsroom showing that storm's fury. brown is working at colwyn borough hall morning. she says a council vote to fire her last night was illegal. she says council members took the vote after their meeting had adjourned. a generator could be to blame for a carbon monoxide leak inside a north philadelphia home. we know one person was sent to the hospital. fire officials aren't saying much about the incident but say no other homes are affected. investigators are looking into what caused an early morning fire in montgomery county. crews believe the fire started inside the kitchen of this home on wister drive in cheltenham. a woman inside was able to make it out shavely. lysafely. no injuries reported there. to vancouver, canada where police say they shot and killed a man who stabbed three people, one woman right in front of them. he was holding a knife they used a beanbag shotgun to try to subdue him. authorities say the man turned to a woman standing nearby and started stabbing her. that's when they shot and killed the man. the woman is in critical condition and two other victims were treated for minor injuries. in los angeles, a 13-year-old boy is dead and 8-year-old is in grave condition after the car they were in plunged into the ocean. two adults were found swimming in the water at the port of los angeles last night. they screamed at kids were in the sinking car. divers say the kids were sfloopd strapped into the vehicle so they had a hard time getting them out. officials are investigating how that car ended up in the ocean. and staying in california a sheriff ordered an internal investigation into this video showing police arresting a suspected horse thief. officers tasered him and then several of them punched and kicked the man as he was on the ground. the sheriffs called the video disturbing. crews eventually took the man to the hospital. it is unclear how bad he's hurt. you can watch this entire video on nbc10.com. it is a worst kept secret in politics. hillary clinton running for president. and now it is about to become reality. clinton has been signaling that she's going to announce her candidacy in the next few days. and there are multiple reports it could happen as soon as this weekend. nbc's kristen welker reports. >> don't you some day want to see a woman president of the united states of america? >> reporter: she hasn't exactly been subtle but now former secretary of state hillary clinton is about to make it official in the next few days. clinton has already been laying the ground work recruiting some of president obama's top staffers setting up office space in brooklyn and dropping hints for months. >> i'm back. >> reporter: no stranger to the campaign trail, clinton will try to avoid the mistake she made in 2008 critics say she often acted like the inevitable nominee and at times appeared scripted talking to big crowds. >> the big lesson for her is you know stay away from the talking points and be comfortable enough to let voters really see you. >> reporter: polls show clinton trouncing her potential democratic rivals. but in a general election matchup with challengers like jeb bush scott walker and ted cruz things get tougher. republican rivals are already on the attack against clinton, for using her personal e-mail while serving as secretary of state. >> maybe we'll never know the truth because she erased the files. >> reporter: clinton will have to counter that criticism and defend her foreign policy record, and she'll try to pick up where she left off, seven years ago. >> although we weren't able to shatter that highest, hardest glass cerealing thisiling this time thanks to you, it has about 18 million cracks in it. >> reporter: the question now, can she break through? >> that was kristen welker reporting. analysts say the strength of had her campaign will depend largely on her message which is still a closely kept secret. meanwhile, the republican field gets even more crowded on monday when marco rubio from florida is expected to enter the race. and in ohio college basketball player who inspired many during her battle with brain cancer has died. 19-year-old lauren hill was diagnosed with brain cancer last year given just weeks to live. the basketball player defied doctors and she lived on for months. the school started the basketball season two weeks early just so hill could play. hill helped over all the details coming up. this is nbc 10 news. >> carrying extra weight during middle age may actually give you a little more protection against dementia later in life. researchers found people who were very obese in their 50s were 30% less likely to develop dementia than those with the normal weight. people who were underweight were the most likely to develop dementia. experts say they aren't sure why extra weight seems to have a protective effect against memory decline. and new research shows a serious event during childhood could increase the risk of type i diabetes. kids who had to deal with death in the family divorcing parents or other conflicts had triple the risk of developing the condition. experts believe those children had higher levels of a stress hormone courtrtisol. chronic stress may cause an imbalance in the immune system. researchers found about 55% of latino kids had cavities in their baby teeth. 65% of teens had them in their permanent teeth. the american academy of pediatric dentistry says children should get their teeth checked by their first birthday and twice a year after that. does your child hate going to school? well a new study says it could be genetic. researchers say about 45% of cases, personality differences that children inherited from their parents impacted their motivation to learn. the rest of the cases were explained by differences our flyers alumni hockey team we play about eight or ten different hockey games a year we're playing the blues, chris dutton started about 11 years ago. right at this point, we make between 100 and $125,000 on this game, which really helps. sunday at 1:30 at the northeast skate zone in philadelphia. and then from 1:30 to 3:30 and 3:30 to 6:30 we're at chickies and pizza on the boulevard where everyone gets a chance to meet the flyer alumni and probably watch a little masters on the tvs. >> sure. tell me about some of the guys that -- some of your former teammates, perhaps, some of the alumni guys we were talking about how great the flyers alumni is. a lot of you guys stuck around here stayed here community knows you guys and see your faces. so tell me about some of the guys that will come and lace up the skates again. >> joe watson is always there. he heads up all of our hockey games. terry cartner, andre faust played in the middle '90s. ray allison will come out, along with myself. we're all really excited about this. the website is goals for giving.org. people can see all the information. i even have a spot where i'm taking donations to try to hit a certain goal. and i'm just a little short. people go on that site you know, help me get to my goal. >> speaking of donations, tell us where this money goes how it is used. >> for an nhs, the money will be used to help a lot of the people either in autistic schools or intellectual development and disability schools where we can help feed them properly when they come in the morning or for lunch or dinner. a lot of times these students are -- adults aren't fed properly and when not fed properly therbs don'tproper ly ly, they don't learn as well. we'll give them the right nourishment, so they have full stomachs and they'll be able to understand and to develop what they need to be successful. >> what a good cause. i don't know what i enjoy more coming to watch you guys skate around or coming to chickies and pizza after. you guys are a fun group. so accessible. so, you know people come up to you guys and you chat them up. >> it is just like your group of ex-athletes. we're all the same. we played in an era where we are interacting with the fans a little bit easier and our stories might be a little bit better than today's. >> a lot of you guys come from small towns too. very down to earth and, you know -- >> we're no different than anybody else. i think that's why our flyers alumni has been so successful is because we had people staying here working here and really ingrating themselves in the community and we're looking forward to sunday. >> almost out of time. i can't let you go without -- as a former analyst, you know commenting on what is happening with the state of the team. the last game is tomorrow. >> tomorrow afternoon. everyone is disappointed this year. they got too far behind at the beginning of the year. they have been able to come from behind and get into the playoffs. but this year it didn't happen. so -- >> i don't see craig surviving this. >> i think it depends whether they're looking at experienced coaches out there, but he's done a good job with the people that he's had. and with some of the injuries and they have been right there. they just maybe need one or two players to kind of get them over that hump. >> once again, the 11th annual goals for giving with meteorologist brittney shipp. >> good morning. as we head into the rest of today, we'll continue to he is a threat for severe storms so we have a first alert day in effect for us as we head into the afternoon and the evening for that severe storm threat. we could see wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. possibility of hail. want to be very careful as we get into your afternoon hours, especially right over your evening commute time. we're also tracking a big warmup, temperatures this morning starting off in the mid-40s. in the mid-40s yesterday. daytime highs push into the 70s. almost a 30 degree warmup. our first alert headlines show we're tracking the possibility of afternoon and evening thunderstorms, strong and gusty winds and the potential for hail. so you just want to take it easy as you're heading home from work, maybe heading out for an early dinner tonight. across the border in allentown, 44. 50 in atlantic city. seeing that warmer air filter into our area. radar shows the line of thunderstorms and showers that are going to continue to push closer to us as we head into the next couple of hours here. some of these cells are already prompting thunderstorm warning, but it is mainly to the south of our area. you'll notice all that moisture gets a little closer to us as we head to the next few hours. won't be until 2:00 3:00 in the afternoon that we'll start to see some of this rainfall moving into our region. and as we push into the rest of this evening, closer to 3:00 that's when we start to see widespread rainfall for philadelphia, stretching up to doylestown, mount pocono allentown, and also parts of trenton. as we get closer to 4:00 5:00 you'll notice some of our stronger storms will develop closer to cape may. and lewis. sound parts of delaware have the best chance to see of the possibility of severe storms. and what that means with severe storms is we could see wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour and hail is possible and severe thunderstorms. heading into your 6:00 7:00 hour still dealing with scattered showers throughout philadelphia. isolated thunderstorms still a possibility. we won't get done with all of this moisture and instability until after 9:00 10:00. we'll start to see our clouds clearing up. and as we head into the weekend, we will see plenty of sunshine which is nice. that's the perfect timing for clearing conditions. areas of fog, very foggy. dense fog here in mount pocono. seeing visibility down to one mile in allentown, two miles in wilmington. three in dover. live look now at what is our aramark building you can barely make it out, that's how dense the fog is. already seeing delays at the philadelphia international airport. temperaturewise, cold. 44 degrees in philadelphia. 45 in northeast philly. our temperatures are going to start to warm up and had they do we will be much warmer today than where we were yesterday. temperatures will range between 68 and 79. we'll see showers and thunderstorms as we head into the afternoon. our wind speeds out of the southwest, 10 to 20 miles per hour. seven-day forecast shows that after we see warmer weather today, 73 and we get rid of all of the thunderstorms heading into the afternoon. as we push into saturday we'll see plenty of sunshine. windy conditions but temperatures at 66. that's a nice way to check out the phillies game. same thing on sunday. temperatures at 67 degrees. overnight lows dropping down to the 40s. as we head into monday nice start to your workweek. 70 degrees, tracking another chance of rain as we head into
