Now, your nbc 10 first alert weather with meteorologist tedd florendo. Get ready for a stormy week for all of us, but thats all going to change as we start to head into the weekend. A live look outside right now shows plenty of cloudy skies at this hour. Weve got rain at times for the day today, and we have thunderstorm chances in the forecast for the day as well, and like we said, its just going to be a stormy week throughout the day and the afternoon also into the evening hours here, too. A live look outside at boathouse row, currently 80 degrees, mostly cloudy skies at this hour. Winds remain calm. Look at the humidity, 67 . It feels sticky outside. Humidity will be around also as we head into your weekend, too. Radar shows most of the area remains dry, although there are some isolated spots that were seeing some showers right now. Very isolated. Just north of winslow and waterford right there, and also new isolated showers that also have developed into portions of kent county at this hour. This, in fact, is ahead of the other disturbance im watching that is bringing a lot of rain right now, heavy rain at times, that just passed through washington, d. C. , and we could see some of these showers and even some rain into delaware and southern new jersey in the next few hours here, too. So we will be watching that. A chance of thunderstorms also back in the forecast for the day today. Temperatures are warm, and its muggy outside right now. 69 degrees in allentown. Pottstown at 71. 74 over sbensalem. Atlantic city at 79 as well. A future cast will show what we can expect throughout the afternoon and the evening hours. Notice were not looking at widespread rain but theres still a possibility of scattered showers. Notice by 3 00 to 4 00, too, and even to 6 00, too, and were not ruling out, its unstable out there, but we could get some isolated thunderstorms and the thunderstorms will also give us a chance of some pretty good downpours and even some gusty winds along with it. Chances are out there but it will be scattered rather than very, very along with that line, theres really no line of storms that move in. If anything it will just be popup thunderstorms that were watching. Notice later on tonight we start to lose that instability. We start to dry out. Tomorrow well have clouds but still a slight chance of isolated showers. The threat not as high for our wednesday thankfully. Temperatures around 83 degrees for the day today. Showers, thunderstorms possible, mainly light winds unless youre near the storms that could give some gusty winds. The shore, same story, youre not in the clear. Showers and thunderstorms as well. By the afternoon, temperatures around 77 in rehobotrehoboth. Cape may, 76 for a high for our tuesday. Now, the next seven days here, like we said, theres a chance of showers and storms each day. Wednesday not as much. Friday will be our best chance of those storms. Temperatures will be in the mid to low 80s but it will be muggy, too. But as we head into the weekend, look at this, we start to dry out. Less humid. So if you have any fathers day plans, probably can make those outdoor plans for sunday because its looking nice with a temperature of 84 degrees. Ill meteorologist tedd florendo.
