A group of liberian women gathering to talk about their homelands, how they recovered from the civil war and the two conflicts during the past two decades. Theyll be showing song and dance and how their culture is resilient enough to tackle this new crisis headon. You need to really have people who will help you to detraumatize your brain into what it is. Because we didnt have that. We have each other that help us a lot. And today, unfortunately, a disproportionate number of women in liberia are infected with ebola because they make up a large portion of the medical and Service Community in that country. She worked as a correctional officer in the philadelphia prison for 20 years. When she didnt show up to her job yesterday, her brother went to her house and made the discovery. Im so grateful and so happy. The house was provided by an anonymous donor whos building a bigger one. Numerous agencies worked with the Atlantic County Recovery Group to make the donation possible. Gonzalo made landfall around 8 30 last night. Bermudas Police Commissioner said many roads are impassable and damage is extensive. But there have been no deaths, no serious injuries reported. About 28,000 homes are still without power. Gonzalo, the strongest hurricane of the atlantic season. Gonzalo is pulling away from bermuda. And were seeing our temperatures, the warm temperatures pull away from us. Its happening overnight tonight. Turning colder. Well see readings in the 40s overnight tonight, with gusty winds this evening, theyll settle down a little this evening, but not going to vanish overnight. At a News Conference that just wrapped up minutes ago, police said further tests will be needed to determine if the remains are the 18yearolds.
