On sunday, neighbors say the two Young Children living with hicks had to run to a neighbors house. They were hiding at the house because her boyfriend had pulled a knife on her and threatened to kill her. They had come down this way. They were hiding out here. During the gun battle between the suspect and police several rounds went through the walls of a neighbors home. The delaware state trooper shot this morning is recovering. This year, several Police Officers have died in the line of duty nationwide. 58 officers have died on the job this year. Six dijs in june so far. Only one of them was in our area until philadelphia. Philadelphia School Police Sergeant Darryl giles died june 2nd. Investigators said he died of a heart attack at George Washington high school in northeast philadelphia.
