His mother is still recovering from her injuries and dealing with a whole other kind of pain. Its just amazingly brutal. The emotions shes going through. Reporter friends say the family is hoping for a quick conclusion to this investigation so they can focus on remembering the 2yearold they lost. And they want the person who did this off the street. Feel kind of relieved because, you know we dont know this guy. And it can happen again. Police have not released the suspects name just that he is 19 years old. The possible charges he could face include leaving the scene of an accident and or vehicular manslaughter. It just depends on what evidence the police can find and prove. A driver killed 4yearold abdul wilson on monday in kingsessing, police uncovered a vehicle hitting the child and driving away. The lawyer for the woman told nbc 10 earlier this week his client will surrender. But so far, she hasnt. A newborn baby found dead on a trash pile in new jersey has not been identified. Now, police are hoping some new clues will help them find the babys mother. The remains of the baby police have named emma grace were discovered at the Community Recycling center in farmingdale. The baby was 21. 5 inches long and weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces. The worker at the recycling center found the body along with blood sustained adult clothing that you see here. Police say the infant was born alive but they dont know how she died. Philadelphia police want you to take a look at this video that shows a thief taking items from a 7eleven in south philadelphia. Happened on south 10th street on march 31st. The woman you see here peeked inside the store. When she saw the worker was helping customers, she went inside and shoved several objects into her bag. Theres no word on exactly what she took. Definitely wasnt a bad day to be down the shore if you could make it there. Strollers rolled on the boardwalk in Atlantic County. A challenge to pay sick leave in new jersey has failed. The judge ruled against an attempt to stop a new law mandating paid sick leave for trenton city workers. Thats what protesters outside superior court yesterday wanted to hear. The Business Group thats challenged the law said it was too vague. The judge countered that the city has the right to protect the health of its citizens. Eight other cities in new jersey have paid sick leave laws. Nearly 14 years after the 9 11 attacks, rescue workers who responded to the World Trade Center site continue to have health problems. A new study followed employees of the new York City Fire department for 12 years. Those responders have higher than average rates of acid reflux emphysema. Rescue workers who arrived earliest on the scene were at greater risk for nearly all of the conditions. Hundreds of volunteers are gathering in shanksville, pennsylvania, this weekend for a renovation project at the 9 11 memorial. Theyre planting 22,000 seedlings at the site. United flight 93 crashed on september 11th after passengers fought hijackers for control of the jet. Crews have spent the past two weeks preparing. It gives the trees a good head start and allow these trees to survive without much of an assistance from us in the future. The volunteers are planting the seedlings over 32 acres on the site. Organizers hope to reforest the entire area with more than 150,000 trees. Its a movement thats picking up a lot of steam. The push to put a woman on the 20 bill. Now a New Hampshire lawmaker has joined the debate. Introduced the bill this week to narrow the list of who should be on the bill. A group called women on 20s already has its favorites, including rosa parks, eleanor roosevelt, Harriet Tubman and others. We have a lot of symbols in our culture about what we value. And it would send that message that we value those contributions of women just as we value the contributions of men. The senator says the 20 bill is already long overdue for a redesign. Well people in texas and the plains are assessing the damage to their properties after severe weather. Got a tornado coming. Coming right at us. This is video of the tornado that hit near the town of bris brisco, texas, yesterday. Eight tornadoes reported in the state, one each in oklahoma and kansas. But the main Weather Threat was from damaging winds and hail. About the size of golf balls. This was the hail that fell in brisco but the hail was reported in oklahoma and kansas the size of baseballs. No one was hurt, luckily, during the storms. Severe weathers possible through the weekend from the Southern Plains to the southeast. And more than 500 people in japan are suing the government over the disaster at the Fukushima Nuclear plant. The lawsuit claims the government lifted evacuation advisoryies too early and forced people to return when radiation levels were still high. Thousands of families were forced from their homes after a triple meltdown at the fukushima plant in 2011. Well we warmed up today, finally, the sun came out, temperatures jumped into the mid70s. Newly released 911 call gives us an idea of exactly what was happening when a baggage handler found himself trapped inside a planes cargo hold earlier this week. Miguel almaguer has that story. There was no sign of trouble on the Alaska Airlines flight departing seattle until dispatchers received a 911 call from the planes cargo hold. Hello, im trapped in this plane. And i called my job but im in this plane. Youre where . Im inside a plane. I feel like its moving in the air. Flight 448, can you please tell somebody to stop it . The man pleading for help is a baggage handler who later told authorities he took a nap in the planes belly. The dispatcher is confused. Where are you in a plane at . Im inside a plane. Alaska Airlines Plane flight 448. Are you at the airport . Im at not in the airport. I feel like its moved. With the flight bound for los angeles, the call abruptly comes to an end. Are you by yourself or with somebody . By myself as the jet climbed now at 5,000 feet passengers hear a call for help pounding from just below their seats. The baggage handler was lucky, say experts. Trapped near the nose of the plane where the cargo hold is pressurized and the temperature controlled. Cargo holds are not designed for people to ride from a to b in there. The victim had fallen asleep before the plane left chicago yesterday. According to a southwest spokesperson the female passenger was bothered by the man snoring so she started poking him. The plane returned to the gate and the woman was removed. The man wasnt hurt and he declined to press charges. The woman was allowed to board a later flight.
