Throughout his campaign, wolf stressed the need and desire to reestablish education as a priority and knows all eyes are on him to deliver on that promise. We caught up with mayor Michael Nutter who says compromise is key to accomplish the needs of philadelphia and pennsylvania as a whole. Pennsylvanians voted loud and clear, they want funding for education for their children and they know that we have a budget deficit at the same time. Prosecutors say he ordered violence vandalism and intimidation for construction job against members of the ironworkers union. His conviction carries a 15year minimum sentence. Hell be officially sentenced in april but a judge ordersed him jailed immediately. We caught up with his son outside the courtroom. We love our father. We believe our father. We believe in his innocence 100 . The jury deliberated for a week before reaching a verdict. To another court case now. A developing story. The case of a former philadelphia sportscaster accused of defrauding hundreds of people. Its now in the hands of a jury. Nbc10s Deanna Durante was in court today as the jury in the Don Tollefson trial heard closing arguments. Bring us up to speed here. Reporter the jury has been deliberating for over an hour now. Theres no word on how late the judge will let them go. Don tollefson and his standby counsel say his defense is that he didnt mean to leave people high and dry when he sold them sports packages trips that those people never got to go on. Don tollefson referred all questions to his standby counsel, thats a break from talking to reporters as he had been doing for three weeks. Tollefsons defense is he didnt mean to sell travel packages and leave customers with nothing to show for it. Prosecutors say he sold more than 340,000 in bogus packages to unsuspecting customers and used the cash not for charity, as promised, but on his own personal expenses. We had testimony during the trial that mr. Tollefson was paying back people whenever he could get some money. Reporter goldman says its unclear how much money has been paid back but prosecutors say it has not been nearly enough. Some people were made whole but not by him. By their credit card companies, ironically. They paid them back more than he did. Reporter now, the prosecution says that tollefson groomed his alleged victims, even telling a jury in his closing arguments, the prosecutor said tollefson showed up at funeral of fallen officer brad fox to get to know the family. We just saw a few light snow flurries during the pocono and Lehigh Valley. What were going to focus on is whats happening here in the dakotas. Into the overnight hours, youll see as it passes through the great lakes. By noon on your wednesday, just outside of lancaster county, well start to see the snow developing there. And start to move into our region. It will head to the west first. By 2 p. M. We should start to see more snow developing in the northern parts of delaware starting to move into the i95 corridor. Starting off as rainfall mainly right along the shore into your early afternoon hours. By 5 p. M. , youll notice widespread snowfall is expected especially for south jersey and parts near the i59 corridor. As we head into the next few hours, by 7 p. M. Were seeing more widespread snowfall. This time reaching reading probably pushing into parts of the Lehigh Valley and even into the poconos. By 10 00, 11 00, we start to see more tapering. After midnight we expect all the moisture to be out of here. On Early Morning thursday we expect icy roads. We want you to take it easy heading into wednesday, going home on thursday. As far as our snowfall amounts, 1 to 2 inches a possibility in the toek notices. 2 to 3 for our suburbs in the Lehigh Valley. Closer to the i95 corridor, 1 to 3 inches expected. The central part of delaware 1 to 2 inches. Cumberland county, salem, 2 to 3 inches a possibility. If youre closer to the shore, it will take a lot longer for all of this moisture to switch from rain to more of a mix to snowfall. A trace to 2 inches is what were calling for. This guy was not charged with firing off shots near the biden house. He said he was on his way home saturday night, hadnt heard about the shots. Police say two employees stopped him from stealing the items, but when he jumped into the car and the pair took off they dragged an employee about 100 feet. A second worker was also hurt. In the end they arrested three people. You might remember a similar incident in our area last october. Hundreds of dirt bike and atv riders roared through rush hour traffic in southwest philly. It was part of a memorial tribute to a fallen dirt bike rider. Philadelphia police let them get away with it but emphasized its illegal to ride most of those vehicles on city streets. It begins on where you are. Well start off with the suburbs because the system will move in from the west. Tomorrow will be a first alert weather day. The reason why is we expect to mainly see snowfall to the north and west of the i95 corridor. That will start closer to noon to 2 p. M. Thats the time frame. Once this snow starts immediately well see slick roads and it will continue until the evening commute. You want to be careful in the suburbs, especially as well for the i95 corridor where its going to see more of a mix of snow and a wintry mix. That will start closer to 1 00 to 3 00. Slick roads still expected. Even closer to the shore in south jersey will it start off mainly as rainfall slower to switch over to a wintry mix, eventually moving to snow. It will start later in the suburbs or the i95 corridor, closer to 3 00 or 4 00. With slick roads expected.
