let her know that i did not like the conditions of the house. i told her yesterday you need to move move somewhere else. the next thing that you know you come here and you find out that your own the man was take ton the hospital for possible smoke inhalation. the fire just started before 2:00 this morning in east win sir and all 16 units in building a sustained water and fire damage. officials are searching for a cause. now to a developing story in texas. a line of tornados ripped through parts of texas and arkansas. >> nbc 10 reports on the devastation from van, texas. >> reporter: good evening. it's the same type of debris that's scattered across tornado ali after six days of violent storms. this time the winds and water targeted north texas. >> it was all of a sudden. i mean there was nothing that you could do even if you saw it coming. it was in a matter of minutes. >> just minutes for the violent storms to strike and leaving behind a path of destruction that's changed lives here for ever. >> two people are dead and more than 40 injured and several are still unaccounted for after a tornado ripped through the small town of vann. >> 30 percent have suffered damages. >> homes and businesses splintered and some wiped away. >> this is something that you only see in movies. seeing where the homes stood, and they're not there anymore. >> in crumb north of dallas driving rain and in some areas more than four inches an hour. too much and too fast. it's a very scary feeling to be completely out of control. you could just stand there and watch police say that the parents of john drove to state college to pick him up friday for what they thought was the commencement. he was not at his apartment, and did not answer the phone. they say that he say that he is bag rested for it. >> detectives say that he was one of several dozen people that started fighting at third and green way on sunday night until this man fired off six rounds from a handgun and one round hitting a nearby house. police have now issued a warrant for 23-year-old pressly. >> one guy with the gun, he is on parole for dealing drugs, so we find drug in the house, and he has a gun. with what the held is he doing on the street. >> investigators say that they have issued a warrant for his girlfriend that facing the same charges. >> if we had not have had the film we trapped in her car under a ups truck for about 90 minutes. this scene unfolded in the south bound lanes in montgomery county. the woman was conscience and alert after she was free from the car under that trailer. one other person was in the car with her. that person is expected to be okay. watch what unfolded shortly after this rescue right here. we're going see it. a man in a white shirt comes in the frame on the left side of the screen right there and it looks like he goes up to the woman and appears to lean in and give her a kiss. it's not clear if that man is the other person in the car headlines at 4:00. five people are dead and dozens hurlt after a line of tornados went through texas. nearly a dozen are still missing there. one is dead and several others are hurt after a fire. the man that died jumped from a second floor window. the police, fire marshal and coroner are investigating. the fight escalated when a man pulled out a gun and fired off six shots. one of the bullets did hit the home. a explosive discovery turned out to be a dud. authorities are trying to see how a hand gra grenade ended up in an open field. it was found late saturday night in an area cleared for construction. the bomb squad checked it out and determined that the graenade was inapp rowable. you can see this man take a bottle of wine and then put it in the pants. it happened may 1st. it will heavy stuff is moving north to the northeast and that's going keep it offshore and not be a threat around here. you have to flow and there's a cold front that's approaching and ahead of the front the winds continue to be out of the south. that's tomorrow morning and it's going to be warm and humid. you don't see any rain with this. you're telling me this week. sometime it is tropical storms are robbed. we don't have enough moisture on the front to produce the rain. it will change the winds. the west winds tomorrow afternoon and it will lower the humidity and then when the winds start to
