His findings support the leagues claim that it hadnt seen the ray rice video before it was published online. The tape shows rice punching his then fiancee in an Atlantic City elevator. The league later suspended rice after the tape was released. Now the report is critical of the nfl saying the league could have taken additional steps to get the video before it surfaced. It was relatively mild in december, but january, a different story. At least so far. We continue to see the bitter cold. However, a little break coming tomorrow. Theres another blast coming on saturday. And threat of some icy precipitation in the forecast for more than one day next week. Well we have some high clouds starting to move in ahead of a weak system thats coming in tonight. And thats actually going to help keep the temperatures up a little bit tonight. 18 degrees. The wind 13 miles an hour and the windchill is 5 in philadelphia. Were in the teens across the entire area right now. Except for south. Stone harbor at 20 degrees. The windchills the way it feels on your exposed skin Single Digits, but at least Single Digits above zero as opposed to the Single Digits below zero that we saw this morning. Still feels like its below zero in mt. Pocono. Now, as we go through the night tonight, and the next couple of days those feellike temperatures which are in the single dint Single Digits now go into the teens through the night tonight. So tomorrow morning, plus 15 in philadelphia. Compared to close to minus 10 this morning. Thats 25 degrees better. The way it would feel. And then tomorrow afternoon, plus 24. Now, the temperature, itself might get to freezing. Its going to feel like that. Then tomorrow night, we get another shot of arctic air, so by saturday morning were down into the low Single Digits or even below zero like allentown and reading with the windchill, even atlantic with just a 5 degree windchill. There are those clouds moving in in pennsylvania. The snow near chicago now moving into michigan. Thats mostly going to pass well to the north of our area. As you can see on the future cast. So some snow in the poconos. Maybe even a little accumulation there. And there could be a snow shower in a couple other parts of the area during the morning hours, but that is about it for the threat. The arctic air, well thats with us overall for a while. There it is on saturday. Now, it retreats a little bit and the storm track comes up a little bit, too. The question is how much milder air is going to be able to move in in time for these storms to be moving up the coast . Its not going to move straight up at us bringing the really warm air. So its going to be a close call and in some cases, like on monday it may be cold enough at the ground warmer aloft. That can create a combination of freezing rain which can really cause problems. All right. Its a frigid evening, but cloudy and breezy late. 15 for the low in philadelphia. 9 north and west. Tomorrow windy and cold day. Gusts to 35. Chance of a morning snow shower. But at least temperatures are getting near the freezing mark. Not the case on saturday. About 10 degrees colder plus some wind. So thats pretty difficult. Sunday, near freezing again. And then on monday thats when we may have some problems with the freezing rain. There may be a break on tuesday before a coastal storm has a chance of bringing some snow wednesday and into thursday. But that monday system i think means youre going to have to be monitoring the weather friday and over the weekend for what might be happening. Just when we thaw out and kind of rebound from this you get your choice. Do you want bitter cold or want ice . A lot going on on that sevenday. All right, glenn. Thank you.
