been located, safe. we've learned 30-year-old kyle raker's kayak overturned. coast guard officials say he was not wearing a life jacket and lost most of his belongings. his kayak is still adrift right w. 2:15 this morning when his girlfriend called authorities to say he was safe. coast guard says this a reminder to always wear a life jacket and come prepared with the proper emergency equipment. some developing news in boston where police are investigating a shooting in dorchester. a man was shot on ripley street at about 8:30 last night. no word yet on the victim's condition or whether police have made any arrests in that case. hospital for grand prix poisoning. strain turned out to be a problem with the oil burner that's when they discovered the problem. officials say the levels were extremely high. everyone was ordered out of the 16 units of the riverside community. >> the alarm went off so i opened up the door and i could smell something. so i grabbed my. >> somebody be accountable for something. >> reporter: on wednesday, 55-year-old casler was charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide and one count of operating a motor vehicle to endanger. charges brad casler's mother told me she had no comment. the arraignment date has not been set. today's primary day in massachusetts. there are no statewide races on the ballot -- ballot but there are contested open seats in the cape and berkshires and several counties will be ti voter turnout is expected to be low with only 10% of registered voters casting ballots. vice presidential candidate and former massachusetts governor will speak to students at emerson college today. wells is running with gary johnson on the libertarian ticket. they will be securing a spot in the presidential debate. to douglas family. the first meeting mark police department -- mark just knew this was a friendship meant to last. he was giving kisses. within a minute he rolled over. >> reporter: his foot is still in the heals phase and perhaps his emotions too. >> he sleeps next to me on the floor next to my bed. he checks on us once or twice a night. >> reporter: mark knows the dog breed well. this is his third. not revealed the victim's identity pending notification of his parents in china. investigators say the 17 year old apparently walked on to the tracks and was hit tuesday night. an mbta employee found we should know by friday whether boston police will be forced to wear body cameras. the two sides took their battle to court but with no agreement, it's now up to the judge. when officers didn't volunteer for the pilot program, the police commissioner randomly chose 100 officers to participate. their union sued tha violates their contract. a local high school is rallying behind an 11 year old in the fight of his life. last night, connor hefler was named an honorary captain of the boy's soccer team. the national anthem was sung by renee rancourt. he is battling a rare stage four terminal
