I can show you some video from the scene as well. Authorities say this Police Officer, 33yearold officer jason mosier responded to a Domestic Violence call in fargo, that is when he was shot. Authorities are now saying he is near death, his condition very grave. He was shot several times. He went to the home after Police Received a 911 call a man inside fired a gun at his own family. Several shots from inside the home struck the officer outside the home. I can tell you that as far as we understand it, the standoff with that man and other Police Officers is still continuing in fargo this morning. He has waived his right to appear in the federal courthouse this morning. But, his attorneys will be here and will stand in front of federal judge, the 21yearold facing 33 federal hate crime and Weapon Charges for the Emanuel Ame Church shooing. Bringing the total number of charges against him to 46. Meanwhile, on the state level, he is scheduled to be tried in state court in july, where he faces the death penalty. Three future dates to keep in mind for you on june 14th, all Pretrial Motion must be set. Two weeks later june 28th, 600 potential jurors will report to complete jury questionnaire. On july 11th, jurors will begin being narrowed down to 12 plus alternates. According to our News Partners at the charlotte observer, he told city leaders the trial nearly tore the department apart. He went on trial for the 2013 killing of Jonathan Ferrell last year, a month after putnew took the position of chief. The trial sparked several departmental changes including for the mission of internal and external advisory committees to talk about cmpd policy. State transportation officials spent the past two days testifying before the state Senate Finance committee how decisions are made about which roads get priority. The secretary of States Department of transportation primary and secondary roads are all important. 200 million could stop the decay of roads but not necessarily improve them. Reporter hey, good morning john, we spoke with crystal hutchins of statesville and asked her, describe this horrific experience for us and she said that it was 12 hours of wondering if she was going to survive or not that is how deep this was out there on the Atlantic Ocean. Hutchins was one of thousands of people aboard the anthem of the seas, that is the ship that was caught in the storm in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Massive winds and waves battered the ship creating a mess, in the video you can see that shows the chaos that unfolded during the storm. Hutchins says the passengers were told to stay in their rooms during the ordeal. The Royal Caribbean said that wind speeds were higher than what was forecasted and ha they with that explanation. If you knew that the storm was out there that bad, theres no amount of money worth risking and you took our lives right in your hands and gambled with it.
