to find a cure for cancer. scientists found a way of harnessing the killing capacity of a cell called the t-cell h scientists engineer the cells to find the cancer. the results are promising here. more than 80% of patients who had non-hodgkin's lymphoma responded and half have been in complete remission for 18 months. cannot get excited yet we have a ways to go before the testing gets approved mecklenburg three miles of slow-moving one mile of slow-moving traffic. overall the biggest problem continues to be 485 and 18-wheeler an accident with injuries and the backup beyond south boulevard. mix-up. the student who was supposed to be seen had a similar name. we have not only implemented our management, but we have engaged the joint commission in a self reporting process to improve our an interview but said in an e-mail quote the situation we dealt with was very unfortunate and should have been avoided. there is a breakdown in fog some of the regulations in this case and as soon as to push into our area. rain moved in to part of the area. cleveland county and burke county, then we have snow showers falling in parts of avery and watauga county. first of all, we have a winter weather advisory just for one county for avery county overnight into 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. right now, you have the advisory but we can see snow for avery, ash and watauga. falling through the valley area. look at this batch of precipitation this is a fast-moving batch. and it's pushed into western north carolina and the rest will move through tennessee and in our area tomorrow morning it's out of here. but in the meantime the highest elevations you could see one to two inches of snow from this evening through the overnight period it will be moving out for you tomorrow. and for the rest of us as well. here is the system. it is a low pressure system over western tennessee. here is the old low pressure system that moved through yesterday. we had freezing rain and now a distant memory. here comes the next low notice how quickly that moves in and out of here. high pressure builds in and bringing the sunshine back. also bringing the wind out of so we will see the temperatures maybe a degree or two cooler tomorrow than today. check this out. here is the light... high pressure is in place for thursday. sunshine stays in place for thursday. but by then we will be on the backside of the high pressure system and that means especially to the west across parts of tennessee you will start to see the wind out of the south and it will pull the temperatures up and then we see that pulling across our area, too. friday, close to the 60 mark and saturday and sunday not too far from 70 . though it is february we have a couple nice days coming up. tomorrow 39 in the morning and maybe a stray shower left. and 50 by the middle of the day and 56 your high temperature. and overnight pick up our wbtv weather app to make sure you know when the rain is moving in and out. and the numbers heading into tomorrow morning 36, 56 is your after a morning shower possibility we are done with that. on thursday 55 is the temperature. 59 on friday. and saturday and sunday, mid-to upper 60s for high temperatures more rain into monday and tuesday. 62 on monday. 48 on tuesday. not quite done with winter yet but a break in the meantime. there is the forecast and here is tonya rivens me will give them more time. changing the maps means changing who many of you can vote for so we sent nick ochsner to raleigh he is following the process tonight. >> one committee room was lined with five versions of approved congressional districts and all of them stretched from charlotte all the way up to greensboro but that district is the one ruled unconstitution alibi a panel of judges weeks ago and that prompted the new debate over districts. >> after four hours of voting and debating... >> i'm making clear that our intent is to use the political data we have to our partisan advantage. >> a panel of three dozen state lawmakers sent out a list of >> it is a short time-frame it takes months to draw maps. >> the task will be compressed into a few days to meet the friday deadline. one rare point of agreement between republicans and democrats tuesday is that time is short. >> it's obviously a fast-moving process that is not in the control of the legislature something we were told that we have to do. >> representative, the democrat from mecklenberg county is on the committee drawing the new tentative mapsism we are going to fight hard to make sure that every vote counts and we
