ohnesorge has been following the story. >> authorities are not releasing many details of what they believe happened in this house. only that a woman was shot twice and that a man has been charged in the case. james thaker went before a judge on acharge with assault with a deadly weapon and the charge has not been changed, not yet. >> quiet neighborhood do not have trouble. >> the neighborhood says the couple moved in across the street last fall they were not unfriendly but -- >> kept to themselves. >> yesterday he heard the sirens and doors slamming. looked out. >> and there was a parade of hickory patrol cars. dispute led to what happened. tammy was rushed to a hospital and thaker was picked up not far away and charged with the shooting. it's why he had an appearance in court today. they do expect to file more charges. and he will have another day in court. no word yet when the upgraded charges will be filed but authorities say there is not a big rush right now because thaker is identify a body. nine months ago a man was found dead in the woods. police had an artist create this bust of what the man looked like they are hoping someone will recognize him and come forward. back to our alert center where alex giles is live working >> you said that correct rock slide. take a look this is from twitter. look at that picture that is highway 19 east at the tennessee-north carolina state line. the rocks completely across the road and someone pulled off to stop because they could not drive over and take a picture. the cbs affiliate is report to go happened this afternoon and was moving into the southern north carolina mountains. one disturbance a weak low pressure system it will be pushing in and out and den before you know it. but it will mean rain overnight. yep, and more snow for the higher elevations. not more than one to two inches. mid-50s to mid-40s by 9:00 p.m. move in then we have a big warming trend coming this way and i have the details coming up in a little bit. >> thank you. police are greenville, south carolina say an officer was injured in a wreck that left one dead. a greenville police officer responded to a weather-related crash when another vehicle hit the officer's cruiser and the two people involved in the crash. one person died and another taken to the hospital with serious injuries. >> a south carolina man accused of impersonating a police officer and pulling someone over. zachary civiles was arrested after a deputy saw him. according to police reports is civiles said he was an agent with the south carolina law enforcement division and
