getaway to the island with a man that she met on a date in sight. he says she never surfaced during a snorkeling trip. >> a missing american in aruba it's a lot of attention since the natalie holloway case. authorities have in custody the man robyn gardner was traveling with, but no one has been charged. authorities say their search for robyn gardner has been extensive. tonight, it is on hold. wednesday, they have no more leads to follow. robyn gardner, who lives in frederick, was visiting with a man from montgomery county, gary giordano. he is now in custody and represented by an attorney. >> my client has been detained as a suspect in the murder investigation. he gave the police all kind of cooperation. >> they have known each other for several years. >> they met each other on a date in sight. they spoke with each other. they have good contact with each other. >> gary giordano spoke with robyn gardner's mother late last week and assisted in the search before it was called off. he denies doing anything wrong. a state department official says the search became a recovery effort on august 6. her home is in frederick. >> the office of -- not the van dyke, a journalist from baltimore, it is in the custody of the libyan government. the congressman says libya will be held accountable for his actions and whereabouts. >> a woman is charged with first and second degree murder in a deadly stabbing. police believe the 38-year-old stopped 47-year-old james pfaff during an argument. it happened at 9:00 last night. he was taken to shock trauma, where he later died. we're told that the to live together. police are investigating a body found in the harbor. it was found just after 9:30 this morning. the age and gender of the victim had not been released. >> a crime technician took the witness stand and the murder trial of john wagner. prosecutors say he brought and killed a johns hopkins researcher. we are live outside the courthouse with more on today's testimony. >> date to of the john wagner murder trial today. we saw three witnesses called to the stand. the third and final witness was a woman who accused to live in his apartment, along with several other people. she gave a very detailed testimony today planking wagner to the crime. however, defense attorneys tried to discredit her claims because she is a self admitted drug addict. a long list of evidence obtained from the apartment. it was revealed as a baltimore city crime technician testified. also recovered, and iphone and walt believed to belong to the victim. the technician said that he swabbed the front door of the apartment for what he thought was suspected blood. also taking the stand, one of several other people living in the maryland avenue apartment. williams testified that she, wagner, and other living there were a ticket to drugs and needed money because they were "fiending." she said he came home with a wallet and cell phone. he told them he could not do it because he "hurt him real bad." and that the police were looking for him. she looked at the wallet and found a florida id card inside. she said that she had no idea that he had been killed. the testimony that we are very anxious to hear is from a 23- year-old. she had murder charges against her dropped because she admitted her role in this crime. she will testify against wagner, linking him to this crime. it is on known whether she -- when she will testify. we are estimating a thursday or friday. the case continues tomorrow at 9:30. >> the search is on for the man who robbed a bp gas station. take a look at your screen. anne arundel county police say this man robbed the store in the 7000 block of baltimore annapolis boulevard. police said the man showed the employee a handgun and demanded money. he ran into a wooded area behind the store. baltimore county police need your help in finding a 20-year- old. he is wanted for an armed robbery in owings mills back in june. if you know where he is, you should call -- >> a 20-year-old johns hopkins student hit while riding his bicycle back in february died early this morning with his family by his side. he was hit on west university parkway. he suffered an irreversible rain injury and has been in it, since the accident. the driver was given to citations. police said no new charges are expected. a funeral will be taking place friday morning monday. it is going to be a step down process. we do see some showers and thunderstorms. in between, those two areas, we will stay dry here in maryland. the air is so dry, it is difficult for anything to start to develop. as soon as the sun goes down, with dew point and the 40's and 50's, the temperatures will drop pretty quickly. it is still near 90 right now, but we will drop into the 60's right -- in the morning. the forecast for the rest of the night, clearing skies, pleasant conditions. you can open the windows. the temperature will drop down to near 60. during the day tomorrow, that front will be off of the coast. a big area of high-pressure case control of the weather for the next couple of days. that is always good news. i know a lot of you are rooting for rain because it has been dry in some neighborhoods. we will take care of that over the weekend. the next few days will be about as nice as it gets. sunshine tomorrow, no humidity, and nice breeze coming out of the northwest. seven-day forecast, we will start and the 50's on friday morning. the clouds will thicken up on saturday. scattered showers possible late saturday and into sunday. the temperatures will stay into the
