filing has surpassed the average for the entire year. molly has her share of bills to pay. she bought a home in pigtown and has about $65,000 in outstanding student loans and a car payment. she no longer has a paycheck. >> just be really careful. you have to make sure your careful at the grocery store. >> she filed for unemployment. >> we want to have that is something to catch us in case. >> there has been a flood of furloughed workers doing the same thing since the partial government shutdown. it is around 3000 who have applied for benefits. more than 6000 have done so since tuesday. filing has surpassed the average for the entire year. molly has her share of bills to pay. she bought a home in pigtown and has about $65,000 in outstanding student loans and a car payment. she no longer has a paycheck. >> just be really careful. you have to make sure your careful at the grocery store. >> she filed for unemployment. >> we want to have that is something to catch us in case. >> there has been a flood of furloughed workers doing the same thing since the partial government shutdown. it is around 3000 who have applied for benefits. more than 6000 have done so since tuesday. they are technically unemployed. she was told she would not find out for another three weeks if she was approved. >> thankfully we do have savings. you do not want to crack into that. you're hoping you can get through until you get another paycheck. i think it is kind of a shock. this is real. this is happening. >> there is no guarantee these workers will receive back pay once the
