and we say to you, not a minute too early." butt to 1:00 - 1:06 "what are we to do? are we just to go home and allow these things to become the normal?" bundy says his group will leave when there is a plan to turn over federal lands to locals. looking ahead, president obama's final state of the union address is tomorrow evening. according to reuters, white house officials say the speech will be optimistic. it will be less of a laundry list of plans, and more about the big-picture view of our future. he is also expected to talk about his recent strategy on gun control. you can watch the state of the union right here on wavy t-v 10 starting at 9 p-m. it will be followed by the republican response. there's a growing interest in guns here in a record crowd packed the norfolk scope arena over the weekend for the showmasters gun show. 5-thousand people attended - that's double the amount of people last year. the foot traffic is just one sign of a growing interest. the owner of a gunshop in newport news says he's seen an increase in people shooting guns, buying guns, and enrolling in concealed carry permit classes. ((c549 26:56-27:04)) george mcclain, the marksman owner "where we are normally scheduled up through the next class, is now we're scheduled through the next six classes." the gunshop owner also spoke to 10 on your side about the president's gun control plan. he says including more agents to do background checks and more money for gun safety is good, but he feels it distracts from the bigger issue of terrorism in the u-s. after several 7-eleven robberies across hampton roads, police in suffolk are investigating a new one. officers say it happened yesterday morning around 1 at the store on godwin boulevard in the chuckatuck area. two men went into the store, money at gunpoint, and then ran off. no one was hurt. we are working on getting surveillance video of the suspects from police. over in portsmouth, police are looking for two people they say robbed the diamond's express gas station on victory boulevard, near greenwood drive. police say around 10-45 saturday, the suspects ran into the store, demanded money at gunpoint, and then ran off. investigators say this same store has been robbed three times before - in october, november, and december. we are working to get more information from police about whether or not the robbies may be connected. there's some good news at the pump this morning. the national average price of gas is down to $1.97 a gallon. according to gas buddy-dot-com, that's about 20-cents lower than this time last year. industry experts say the price dip could be temporary. prices could go back up when refinery maintenance begins in officers tell us a suspect barricaded in a home, came out shooting and killed a police k9. officers fired back and seriously injured the man.. this first started along land street as a barricade road. one neighbor told 10 on your side, he hit he floor when he heard several gunshots outside his window. when he looked up the whole complex was empty. police say they found 2 men and a woman with gunshot wounds. paramedics took them to a nearby hospital. they should be okay. door." 3:20:32 sarai's father called back and told his daughter to walk down the hallway and use the elevator to let get rescue crews in the building. she made it and guided crews back to her mexico is heading to the u-s. mexican officials launched the process to extradite joaquin guzman also know as "el chapo." guzman faces drug charges in the u-s. mexican officials also sean penn and mexican soap opera star kate del castillo. the actors say they secretly met with the drug kingpin and asked him questions. the meeting eventually led to guzman's capture as officers tracked him down. it came months after guzman escaped from a maximum security prison. rolling stone published the interview over the weekend. developing news in philadelphia, tensions remain high after a new threat against police officers surfaced. the department is investigating a tip from an anonymous person who said, "the threat is "radical" shooters are still on the the information comes after police charged edward archer for shooting officer jesse hartnett. investigators say archer confessed and pledged his allegiance to isis. the tipster said archer is part of a larger group, and that police in
